Spacious quiet rooms perfect for staying in Ella
Reviewed By Maps40465286440We had a wonderful stay in the Lazy bear Lodge. Rooms are very spacious and cool during the night. Short walk to the busy part of Ella and very close to little Adam’s peak and Nine arches bridge. Owner was amazing and went above and beyond to help make our stay wonderful. Breakfast was great and we even had a lovely dinner. Great place to stay if you are in Ella.

Reviewed By C7417LProbincI really enjoyed the days I stayed at Hangover, it was packed with travelers and I made so many friends there. It’s located very well with a 10 minute walk to the centre and 25/30 to either the 9 arch bridge or little adams peak but Ella rock is nearby as well. (It’s part of your view at hangover) Because of the curfew we all decided to extend our stay there and it was the best decision! Loved playing cricket with the hostel staff and fellow travelers!

Located just bordering the Yala National Park in a beautiful wilderness setting, with easy access to the less-crowded Katagamuwe entrance of Yala via the sacred city of Katharagama, this enjoyable, yet affordable Yala Accommodation option offers you a great deal in a Yala Safari. We have 2 air-conditioned rooms with 6 single beds each (3 bunk beds) and another 2 air-conditioned rooms with 8 single beds each (4 bunk beds) providing accommodation, for 28 safari explorers. Away from the main building, we have a separate individual air-conditioned cottage that offers single / double / triple or family accommodation. We offer unlimited free Wifi in the common areas. The spacious outdoor area of the Funky Leopard Safari Hostel has quite a few hangout / relaxing spots with hammocks, etc.

Reviewed By muhammadariffb2022Staff in friendly, helpful, easy to approach. The rooms is nice with ac, nice bathroom and can chill with other travellers in large balcony. They give a warm welcome at the gate with a nice coconut drink. The location in the middle of the jungle with is near to Yala national park. I book a safari with them, with includes a tour guide, nice breakfast and ticket for myself and it worth it.

Reviewed By DianalvarelaOur stay in the Finalgate was very good. Aruna was very helpful. The views are amazing! We saw some monkeys outside. The breakfast is exceptional! He added some local items plus you pick the time for breakfast. I would truly recommend it.

Reviewed By Jane4551Out of the way of Busy Ella. Set in beautiful mountains. A lovely place to hang out with helpful and relaxed hosts. We loved the hammocks and chill out but on the hill for sunsets. Food was delicious and plentiful. Would stay here again if I’m ever in Ella :)

The property is situated only 10 mins walk from Ella town centre, just off the Wallwaya road, so is quite and surrounded by spectacular views. The rooms have double or single beds. All have private bathrooms, with hot and cold running water. All rooms have fans and mosquito nets. Breakfast included in the price with other meals supplied if required.

I wouldn't however stay here again. We had an uncomfortable situation with the owner when settling the bill. Make sure you know exactly what's included (breakfast, top floor room...) before you go.

It has more than 200° degrees panoramic views and full of green nature mountains. We hiking and took natural baths at kaloogala waterfall, that was remarkable experience of my travel life as local traveler. Villa was well cleaned place and we'll equipped. They provided chef and he cooking most delicious foods. We had our breakfast with views of mountains. One of my favourite part of my trip to Ella. Kaloogala Scenic Bungalow is located little far from the main road. And little difficult to drive over mountains road. My car can't drive at Mountains road. So we had to hire a tuktuk to drive us 2km where we parked our vehicle. Parking was arranged by hotel management and it is very safe place. Kaloogala Scenic Bungalow is highly recommended. A must visit hotel in Ella. Special if you love to feel the nature without disturbing from out side world, this is the number one destination to visit in Ella Sri Lanka.
