Cheap for single room

Reviewed By dawnGalicia

Well located. Easy to access by bus from the station. My single room was tiny and very basic, but clean, quiet, with air con and the bed was comfortable. 25 euros a night. There's a shop and bar for early breakfast practically next door.

Comfy, cool, close

Reviewed By clarkesolo

Checked in during the pandemic and the staff were very helpful and chatty on WhatsApp. Even let me teach them a little Welsh ???????! Great location in historic Córdoba, just a few minutes away from the Mosque. Clean dorm with very necessary air con and a cold shower so powerful I checked for bruises.

Pension Cibeles

Very basic but clean. Convenient to see Cathedral mosque and roman bridge.

Reviewed By dianam1937

We booked a twin room for 28 euros and were given a double. After complaining we were given a twin as originally booked. A nice and quiet room but very basic. There was no mirror or extra pillows. We shared a bathroom but shower was broken and toilet chain had been changed to a piece of string. There was no plug in the basin in our room. Girl at desk was very helpful and polite but what a shame that the things that needed to be put right were not done. Especially as they were all cheap and easy things to do. Having said all that beds were comfortable and pension very near Cathedral mosque and river . 24 hour parking was about 200 metres from Pension and hundreds of places to eat and drink.

Hosteria Lineros 38

The city of Cordoba is intrinsically tied to a rich Moorish culture. Those culture contributed to Cordoba's unique magnificence and peculiarity, as well a the ancient melting of Arab, Christian and Jewish cultures. Hostería Lineros 38, featuring pristine Mudejar style architecture, is the perfect place for you to experience and retrace the influence of these three cultures. The inn is truly an unparalleled architectural gem. Located in an old town house in the so called Axarquía, an ancient suburb, our inn lies in immediate vicinity of the legendary Mezquita Mosque and Cathedral which is just 300 meters or about 300 yards away from us. Without any doubt, Hostería Lineros 38 is one of the best opportunities to find accommodation throughout the city of Cordoba. There are only a few places that incorporate the vast Moorish way of life - our inn, paying attention to detail, is one of them.

Quirky place

Reviewed By OhReally49

We found this through booking.com and were very pleased we did. Two night break and a very quirky place. Moorish Moroccan decor throughout. Huge walk in shower in Room 2. Very comfortable extra large bed. The room was dark but in keeping with the whole interior design of the place. Bright in the bathroom though. Spotlessly clean. Free tea and coffee in salon. Free wifi. Rooftop area. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Parking for 12euro per day, ask at reception or on booking, right in the central location, outside the front entrance. Could not have been better for everything around. Fab restaurants, bars, coffee shops, bakeries. The people are lovely too. Very very reasonably priced restaurants and shops, a lot cheaper than the coast, expected it to be expensive being a city. Would certainly recommend and return.

I cannot rate this hostel high enough. The bedroom was palatial while the bathroom was straight out of a 5 star hotel. The owners were friendly and helpful making our time here stress free. Cordoba itself was fantastic; you must visit La Mezquita.

A Cozy, Lovely Place to Stay

Reviewed By Lydia K

My friend and I had one of the bedrooms on the Ground floor with a double bed. When it says 'shared toilet,' that actually meant we were using the toilet in the main patio, where you enter the building. This was fine, as it was a decent size bathroom and you could change into clothing after your shower. The shower head was broken, which made the small shower space difficult to use. My great lament here was that, while they had some manner of coffee machine in the main patio, there were no cups I could find to actually make proper use of the machine. It is a minor detail, but I personally like being able to have coffee available in the places I stay. Otherwise, the location was WONDERFUL and we loved the atmosphere of it. Additionally, the lady who checked us into our room was extremely helpful and referred us to the main features of Cordoba on our city map. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Excellent location, poor breakfast

Reviewed By kisdeszk

The hostel is in a very center of the old city in the neighborhood of the Mesquita-Cathedral. The building is spacious with nice garden and clean, bright rooms. There are towels, but no toiletries in the rooms. The recepcionist was pretty slow and cool and ask 2 euros for the safebox for leaving our luggage when we checked out. The breakfast is very poor.

This hostel is “ok”

Reviewed By HappiTravelerchicago

First, the location is excellent, down a little alleyway, very close to everything. The people that work there are nice. There were a couple things that I didn’t fancy that would make me not go back. First, they don’t heat the hallways which you need to use while going out to the WC from your room. I noticed the French doors all opened in the hall that caused the coldness, I had to shut them myself. That should be routine for owners to shut the windows at night. Also, they have coffee and toast in the morning but nobody ever showed up to start it so we went out for coffee. When we came back, the coffee was percolating, maybe advertise what time the house breakfast starts? I guess I just like a bit more organization. But if you don’t care about the things I am mentioning, this may be a good hostel for you.
