Reviewed By GlobeTrotting693562I stayed in room 101 I think. Bottom floor near reception, was my first solo holiday trip to the island stayed for a week last christmas, 2021. I am a very nervous person with a lot of issues but everyone especially the cute staff member was very understanding, The room was great with free safe, wine, cava, tv stations, coffee machines was able to clear my head felt great to be unclothed for most of it. only wish I left resort more. would recommend. One night I think I was accidently too loud (sorry to friendly guy next door) but neighbour was polite and when I realised I tried to keep the noise down. In conclusion great staff, clean, quiet place nice guests. sorry if I caused any issues

Reviewed By Corgan4Friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool with lifeguard. Dedicated sunbeds for each apartment. Apartment was very clean. Had a/c, very comfy beds. Supermarket very close, beach very close. We have stayed twice and will stay again. Highly recommended.

Reviewed By dianesY166UYWe just spent a week at Karina, we read the reviews and they were right, the apartments are basic, but spotlessly clean very comfortable, the pool area is spotless, and Odalys was a star she was always so helpful and happy. We also met the manager Juan luis Hedeizos, a charming man, was nice to meet him as there is no reception. We were very impressed with Karina for the pice it was perfect. My only thing I would say and it’s not a complaint, it might be a good idea to supply Wi-Fi in the rooms, I did enjoy a week away from technology.

Reviewed By AnitaS676Small appartments with nice seaview and lovely gardens and swimmingpools. The appartment was not big, but big enough for two people. We were 4 peoples and got appartment side by side. The complex had several small buildings with garden and pool outside each building. The apparments had some kitchen equipment so you cold make breakfast, lunch and dinner, if you wanted. Nice and clean. The bed was good to sleep in. You can walk out from the garden and out to the beachwalk and down som stairs to come to the beach. Quiet area, but only 5-7 minutes walk up to the Cita shoppingcenter and some restaurants. I enjoided the 1 week stay very much, and I probably will stay there later, too.

Receptionist gentleman / manager speaks really good English and was incredibly friendly and welcoming and helpful. The Pool is cleaned every morning. The cleaning ladies are amazing also they work so hard and it shows as the place is very clean. Balconies aren’t overlooked and the place is very peaceful Can’t find any faults at all 10/10 would happily recommend to anyone. If your considering a place look no further you won’t be disappointed. THANKS MABA you have made us happy .

Reviewed By NickS1975We wanted to try somewhere different this time around so opted to stay here. Initially we were very impressed by the wonderful welcome from Fran who helped us settle in, and the beautiful peacefulness of the complex, the lovely pool (despite being freezing!) and the close proximity to the Yumbo. There is no noise from the Yumbo but sometimes afternoon music from the Axel Beach hotel pool parties - so beware if like us you like a siesta! Our bungalow was nicely kitted out with modern furnishings and had a nice outdoor space of its own - but it lacked privacy from the facing bungalow where there was always someone sitting out watching us! Not too much of an issue as we aren’t hermits but we’d have liked the option of being totally private. Breakfast buffet was available from 9 til 12 and it was lovely to sit & eat under the trees watching the wild rabbits run about & the turtles in the pond. No issues with sun beds or getting a nice spot by the pool and poolside towels were provided. The only downsides were the lack of wardrobe space (for 2 of us), the pillows which were very flat and also warm bedding as it was chilly most nights. Most people were friendly (we were the only English couple in a mainly German occupied complex) but the odd comment was made about ‘why are you staying in a German resort?’. A bit strange considering we were in Spain & the resort was featured on various British booking websites! But hey ho, it was overall a relaxing, peaceful stay.

Reviewed By STEWY88When you’ve stayed at Anfi Del Mar you are spoilt because nothing comes near in standard of accommodation . It didn’t help here when the receptionist told me to “ chill out - you’re on holiday “ — that always rankles me . I was “unchilled” because he’d told us it was extra to use the safe and he wanted 10 euros for the tv zapper!!( what did he think we were going to do ? - eat it?) The room was a space divided by stud partitions - small units and poor quality furniture — the bed moved across the room and the mattress slid off the base dumping me on the floor several times . There was a Formica table attached to the wall in the kitchen and 2 ridiculous tiny stools ( never used) The fluorescent lighting made us look like we had TB — the patio door opened onto a nice sun trap area with loungers —but it took me an hour to discover how to get through the gate into the pool - a toe dip was all I managed in the icy water BUT the service girl was superb — she kept everything spotlessly clean !! The comparison is fair really if you think that Anfi is just over 20 euros more per night ( if you’re a member) .... I rest my case

Worst apartments stayed in Play Del Ingles
Reviewed By Lesley SDid not like rooms. Electric sockets hanging out of walls.Had to ask for bed sheets to be changed after 11 days and said they had been changed which they hadn't. Position of rooms facing road and car park with everyone looking straight into apartment as they pass by. Like being in a goldfish bowl. Also position of rooms means no sun all day in any apartment. Had to buy ear plugs because of constant noise from building work. Cars etc. Sunbeds were filthy. Never been cleaned. Access to sunbeds was useless unless you were on ground floor. Ground floor apartments had their own beds but also used free beds for others for themselves. No umbrellas provided so no shade. Property was unkempt and generally dirty. Railings were dirty and no sweeping done downstairs. Asked to be moved on second day to lower floor but said they couldn't. Staff were unfriendly and never smiled. The only positive thing was you got free bread rolls every morning and a bottle of wine on arrival which was a nice gesture. One member of staff who was the receptionist who was polite and approachable. Other staff members were miserable and couldn't even be bothered to say hello. Would have to pay me to stay here again.
