Pleasant and comfortable stay
Reviewed By b1scu1t18Stayed for one week towards the end of May. Arrived later at night and was taken to our apartment by reception. The room was big enough, clean and seemed to have everything we would need. Bed was large and comfortable, kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom was a decent size with an amazing powerful walk-in shower. We had a junior suite on the ground floor so had a reasonable sized terrace to sit out on. There was also a pull out couch-bed in the living room. Bedroom and living room both had TV’s but we didn’t use them as we had a tablet. WiFi was powerful in and around the suite. Pool area is very clean but small, to be honest it’s one of the cleanest pools I have ever seen! The garden areas are pretty and well-kept and there was a rooftop bar which we used a few times. There seemed to be two connected restaurants but we didn’t eat at these (due to personal menu choices - not for any other reason). The only gripe I had was the room temperature as it was very warm, so maybe a cooler in the living room would be good - there was one in the bedroom but it didn’t really cool the room down on full power. I would however 100% stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting the island. Location is quiet but not far at all on foot to visit the plentiful bars/restaurants and also two larger supermarkets.

Reviewed By Tour258395Apartment needs to be updated, no washing machine, no oven, so not suitable for self catering, light bulbs not replaced. No safety deposit box in room, enquired about same, and was told that they never had them, so had to carry personal possessions everywhere. Pool area too cramped, need toppers or something on the very uncomfortable dated sun loungers.

Reviewed By Jean761We had a wonderful visit. The new owners keep the place so nice. We have been going for over twenty years and always have a restful time. However, the recent improvements have made it even better. I have limited mobility and the location of the apartments means that I don't have far to walk to a selection of excellent eating places.

Tao Caleta Playa apartments features the best location: beach-front with direct access to the beach and amazing views to the isle “Isla de Lobos”. The town center is just 200 meters away with the offer of a wide variety of supermarkets, activities, entertaiment, gastronomy and shopping options. Our proposal is an invitation for you to dream with the sea as the background sound of your holidays and dive your feet in the sand right after waking up. This property has an outdoor swimming pool for adults and a smaller one for children, right in the center of a wide solarium that allows our visitor a relaxing sunbath. The apartments are distributed in three different areas. The first one contains 18 two-level apartments with pool-view. The lower level has a lounge kitchen, a small restroom and a terrace. The upper floor has the bedroom and a complete bathroom. The second area contains five two-level apartments with interior-view in addition to another five two-level apartments with sea views. All have terrace, lounge kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom with balcony. The third area contains nine 2-bedroom apartments and one 3-bedroom apartment in a 2 storey building with 2 units on the ground floor and 8 on the upper floor. Each one offers a lounge kitchen and a bathroom. Some units have a small interior patio, some have a larger terrace, but all of them have an amazing view to the Corralejo Bay with the isle “Isla de Lobos” and Lanzarote as a background. All apartments have been recently renovated (2017). Modern furnitures and decorated walls with large format pictures of images of the island, creates a bright but relaxing atmosphere. Each unit is equiped with a double ceramic hob, microwave, small refrigerator, kettle, dishes, cutlery and further basic appliances an cooking elements. Safe box, hairdryer in the bathroom, ceiling fan, 27” flat TV and free WiFi. The apartment is cleaned every 3 days including the change of bedsheets and towels.

Reviewed By David BMy Wife and I stayed here for a week. We were looking for somewhere new to stay for our summer holiday. Location wise it's 100% it's a short stroll to main strip and it's own gate to the beach from the complex very quiet and peaceful after that it's a bit rough and ready. When entering the apartment the stairs down to the kitchen/lounge was as soon as you open the door so you have to be very careful every time you enter. The kitchen units were very gruby could do with being replaced just painted over were the veneer had come off. Would I stayed again I don't know.

Lovely little complex
Reviewed By SunshineanddaisiesLovely apartment (No 8). Lovely quiet little complex. Had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Staff we encountered were pleasant and cheery & even arranged our taxi back to the airport for us. Sun loungers may have been a bit more comfortable with cushions but we survived! :-) Complex is only a 15min walk to Music Square and good supermarkets are even closer. We would definitely stay here again.

Tao El Cotillo has a great location in this charming fishing village, surrounded by a spectacular volcanic landscape. Tao El Cotillo is a hotel-like building containing apartments to rent. A reception, opened during the morning, will help you through the check-in and info about Fuerteventura. The apartments offer all the facilities to make your stay a better experience. The units are distributed over different levels of the main building that surrounds the central area, dedicated to the swimming-pools (one adults and one for children) and the solarium, equipped with sun loungers and sun shades, surrounds the pools. Almost all apartments have access from the common swimmingpool area. Our complex offers complete fully fitted and very spacious apartments, comfortable for long stay also. Most of the apartments have pool view. The interior design is simple and functional in a rustic style. You will find a big kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, refrigerator, washing machine, toaster, kettle and Italian coffee machine, apart from basic appliances, cutlery and dishes. The living room, that shares the same space with the kitchen, is equipped with a flat TV, sofa bed, cocktail table and dining table. All appartments are one or two bedroom. All have one double bed each and the second bedroom may have one or two single beds, depending on the appartment type. All apartments have with one bathroom with shower or bathtub. Each unit includes independent terrace and back patio or/and rooftop, with table and chairs. El Cotillo offers some of the best beaches on the island like: La Concha, Los Lagos or El Tostón. Ideal places for families and water sports, especially surfing, windsurfing and Kitesurfing. You will be amazed by the different possibilities offered by El Cotillo.

Large rear terrace but no furniture. wifi poor. No safe but comp!ex seems very secure. Change of towe!s if requested. ALways had hot water. REcommend

Neptuno bungalows is an intimate complex of seven identical terraced bungalows in the town of Corralejo in the Canary Island of Fuerteventura. The bungalows consist of a lounge with an open kitchen, a bedroom with 2 single or 2 double - beds and a bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. Although the bungalows are built for 2 persons it is possible to sleep with 3 or 4 persons. All bungalows are equipped with complimentary internet access and a plasma TV with Canal + subscription. So you can enjoy all the tv shows you watch at home as well as many other foreign channels. The bungalows are also equipped with a safe. Each bungalow has a private terrace with chairs and 2 sunbeds and wind screen. The complex has a communal pool with sun beds, a large BBQ and a shared washing machine. Neptuno is located opposite the attractive Campanario shopping center and is only a few minutes walk from the beach. The extensive and attractive center of Corralejo is only a short 10 -minute walk away.

Reviewed By Lisa WThis is the 2nd time here at Estrella del mar and there will definately be a 3rd. The bungalow itself is quite basic but there is everything you need to self cater. There is a washing machine which is very handy and the only downside for us was that the TV was all spanish but that's a small price to pay for such a lovely relaxing holiday. The pool is lovely and clean and never more than a couple of people in there at any one time. The gardens are very well maintained too. There is a supermarket less than 5 mins walk and several shops/bars etc within the same complex. The beach is just a couple of minutes walk away and is an alternative walk into town too. We will definately be returning here again as do many of the guests. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday yet close to everything then this is the place for you. We love it??
