Wonderful rest in the quiet part of the resort of Jurmala. Cosy and elegant Katrin apartments are perfectly suited both for individual travellers, group of friends and families with children. Every apartment is fully equipped with everything travellers need. Comfortable and modern interior will make you feel home away from home.
Convenient apartment but no frills. Very close to beach
Reviewed By laughlovetravelwineWe stayed in a two bedroom with balcony. The apartment was what we expected. No frills. Beds were a bit hard and pillows too hard too for my liking. The bathroom had a washing machine. But it felt very basic. Not bad, but not luxurious either. They had dishwashing soap and hand soap but nothing else. So bring shampoo and conditioner if you need it as well as laundry detergent. The location is very very good. There’s a bio market across the street, many restaurants and cafes within a short walk and very close to the beach.

The space: Apartment furnished in modern style with air conditioner, smart TV and IPTV, fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave and fridge. Apartment has two bathrooms, one with bath. Guest access: For your convenience one bedroom apartment (second floor apartments with balcony), living room and kitchen, two bathrooms, one free parking space per apartment and outside BBQ. Also on request available iron with iron board, vase for flowers, BBQ accessories, high chair and bed-playpen for small ones. Interaction with guests: On check in you will have my phone number and if you have any queries please don’t hesitate to host. The neighborhood: Apartments located within walking distance to the Baltic Sea beach, one minute to the Jomas street and 19km away from the Riga International airport. On Jomas street you will find restaurants, gift shops, pharmacy and household appliances shop. Getting around: Free parking located beside apartments and public transport available in walking distances from the apartments block.
A hint of a luxury
Reviewed By Terhi LIf we came back to Jurmala we'd definitely choose this accommodation. The location is just perfect: Jomas iela - the main walking street with all shops and restaurant - is just around the corner. The beach and the sea is not far. You'd just only need to walk 5 minutes and you're there. The building is fairly new, the rooms are big, there are to toilet seats, kitchen area, one bedroom and a balcony. you can see that its new and its decorated with a taste. The owner of the building is very helpful and nice.

Friendly host, good stay with kids
Reviewed By RBerzanskieneWe stayed for 8 nights at this place on the 2nd floor in the main house. The apartment was clean and the house seems newly renovated. The location is quite and is 6 min to the sea and 20 min to Jomas Str. There are bikes you can get and a table tennis in the basement also a small gym. The property has a big courtyard which makes convenient to stay with kids. Quite convenient kitchen. If you go to Rimi shopping center, please be aware that while coming back from Rimi Google Map is showing wrong info and there is not possible to turn from Vienibas Str. to Edinburgs prospects. The police is often there and the fine is EUR 30.

Bella Jurmala Hotel is a modern and comfortable hotel at affordable prices, located in a small cottage settlement, surrounded by forest, on the banks of the Lielupe River, a 30-minute walk from the sea beach. We occupy 3 buildings, in which there are 26 rooms of various capacity (from 1 to 4 people), 12 one bedroom apartments and 4 two bedroom duplexes. We provide free secure parking, a gym, a sauna, a children's playground, a conference and banquet room, a bicycle rental service, a library, a picnic area with barbecue facilities, a garden with outdoor furniture, a roof terrace with sun deck chairs. Our hotel is suitable for staying with children and is pet friendly.
Not for elderly people, simply NO WAY !!
Reviewed By Bronius ŽRoom was about 2x4 meters without a bathroom and WC - they say guests get so called shared bathroom, the thing is you need to share four or five bathrooms with all the guests in the so called hotel. In fact, it could't be named as hotel, hostel the best scenario, and this is it. Yes, it is quite clean, new, but imagine any bathroom at the end of the day even if guests try to keep it clean. For those (my case) who need to take a visit to the bathroom during the night sleep it is simply a disaster.

Есть дворик со столом и стульями, где можно проводить вечер за шашлыками. Мы жили большой группой и чувствовали себя здесь, как дома. Вай-Фай хороший. К моменту заселения не все номера были готовы. В некоторых номерах можно добавить уюта.

Cozy, clean, convenient and comfortable
Reviewed By ec1oudIt's nicely decorated and very clean. I wasn't sure whether the apartment we rented has a separate bedroom, but it turned out that it does. I'm not sure whether it was intentional, but one side of the bed is firm and one side is soft, which is not a bad idea in case different people have different preferences. We had one little issue which was taken care of very promptly. This house has very good sound insulation between apartments, so your neighbors probably won't bother you. Overall it's a really peaceful nice place to relax, very close to the beach and very close to the "strip" with a lot of good restaurants to choose from. If you come for a concert at Dzintari Concert Hall, that's within easy walking distance (900 m). The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a small grocery store nearby, but I'd recommend taking the train to Riga to get much better selection and prices at the world-famous market in 5 enormous hangars right by the train station. The train is cheap and also convenient to get to other areas along the beach, and to other towns. Or, rent bikes and bike along the beach; there are a lot of people doing that all the time. It's a very nice neighborhood to walk around and enjoy all the unique architecture. If the water is too cold for swimming, you can go to the Hotel Jurmala on the next block and use the new spa for an affordable price.

They take the term BUDGET HOTEL to a whole new level
Reviewed By Eman GWas not expecting anything spectacular for the price paid for a week stay, however, the place looks like it is falling down, paint falling off the walls, dirty floors, and poor bedding. We were a group of 3 families, one of which was with a infant, the "apartment" she had booked, was said to have a kitchen in it. When we walked in was just a double bed and baby crib, with a very old and thin mattress, the kitchen was required so some baby food and hot water can be prepared, this should not have been advertised this way if the facility is not available, but it seems the owner just wants to collect the money and just put guests in any corner they can. It was very upsetting at first, but we managed to make the most of it. Location was pretty good, and parking facilities are available right by the facility. even though Our bank card details were given, the owner insisted to be paid in cash, so if you do take a chance on this place, get the cash ready, because we ended up having to go to an ATM again. The place needs a serious renovation and better organisation.
