A Pleasant Green Stay

Surrounded by green bush and grasslands, you wake up seeing Kangaroos hopping past your front door and past your car as if they were your neighbors. We saw rabbits and many wildlife outside our room. It was a green and off grid hotel by practice as they farmed their water by rain water and solar electricity. I was pleasantly surprised by all this setup and very impressed. The hotel room was modern and generally clean. Their manager Matt was awesome to deal with and always helpful. We felt very much at home staying at this hotel. The only down side on this trip was a slight flood in our bath tub. But overall the stay was great and my whole family really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back!

Excellent Team and Accommodation
Reviewed By Floyd GMy second time booking the Grand Mercure Accor Vacation Club Apartments. I was there on last weekend in November which was busy. This was very much a trip that took planning and shifting reservation dates a few times as rules for travel to Hunter kept changing. The team were great and patient on getting a date settled that finally worked. I was sent a personalised welcome letter in advance of stay and setting expectations well in advance. Check-in was quick and painless. I was able to check in early, get settled and relax. The team are very polite, welcoming, and professional. The room was spotless and no complaints. The team also accommodated a late check-out as well which was perfect so we could leave and head straight to our lunch reservation. I look forward to a future stay!

Reviewed By Wally1234This place is amazing-the views of Hunter Valley are outstanding, the facilities are perfect and our host, Ray, was fantastic. We only stayed 2 nights but they were fun filled and very relaxing. All of the vineyards are close by but you must try Ray’s products - the wine and the olive oil are top drawer. Would highly recommend this place!!!

Peaceful cottage getaway
Reviewed By Manda SA lovely little bush getaway, only minutes from some of the best restaurants and winery's. The cottages are what you would expect a bush cottage to be - old and quaint. If you're expecting a brand new building look elsewhere, but if you enjoy older style buildings and are OK with the quirks that come with them then this place is perfect. Sitting on the veranda watching the birds and kangaroos was glorious. The complimentary breakfast was sweet and unexpected, actual real milk in the fridge not that terrible UHT stuff. A wonderful weekend getaway.

Great accommodation and very central
Reviewed By peterdeane47We stayed in #2 with another couple. Plenty of space for 2 couples. The bedrooms/ bathrooms are a very good size and beds are comfortable. Great relaxing on the verandah and not a problem with other families staying at the longhouse. The only issue we had was the very poor wifi. Otherwise we had a very enjoyable time at the longhouse.

Cancelled on me
Reviewed By jenopolyWe booked well ahead two rooms for business, on a very busy weekend. The owner rang weeks later to cancel our booking. He said “Well, you can cancel at any time, therefore so can we!”. He left us in a very difficult position and was argumentative and arrogant, spoke over me . We have told all our colleagues and other related businesses not to deal with these people. We come back every April, but not here!

All our Villas are equipped with cosy woodfires and beautiful views of the local bush, mountains, dams and vineyards. Located a short drive from the heart of the Hunter Wine Country.

Reviewed By X3354GZpaulapWe recently booked every villa for the Bridal party and immediate family for our daughter’s wedding. I couldn’t praise the whole property highly enough if I tried. The villas are spacious and well appointed with everything we required. They were absolutely perfect. The property with its beautiful views were great for pre-wedding photos and is located very close to the White Barn where the wedding was held. We will definitely be staying again. I highly recommend Beltana Villas to anyone wanting to stay in the Pokolbin area.
