Reviewed By davidbarton007Location was excellent for us, only a few stops on the tram from the main centre, rooms are basic, clean and come with microwave and 2 hobs for cooking which was ideal for breakfast :) Friendly staff, I would recommend.

bad experience
Reviewed By 461elsakWe stayed in the hotel for 4 months and our experience wasn't satisfying! The cleaning service wasn't regular and they entered the room inappropriate hours. Also when we announced them(20 days notice)that we would like to leave the room earlier and asked them for a refund at first the manager accepted it and told us to send an email , which answered 3 days later with a negative answer and then she played with us told us in person that she would try and to give a partial refund and after one week another email that she couldn't do anything to get our money back! We didn't care so much for the refund but for her behavior. She treated us like we were idots!The rest of the staff was polite and helpful!

Reviewed By matt66LondonMay be ok in the winter months but n the summer avoid like the plague. Rooms are baking hot and full of mosquitoes if you keep the windows open. Looks like it has been built out of pre fab shipping containers in China and hotel assembled in a week in Bordeaux. How long the interiors will last is anyones guess. I checked out after 1 night and lost money on 2nd night.

Reviewed By Karen HSpent two nights here in the heart of Arcachon, a couple of hundred yards from the centre of town. Spotlessly clean, well-equipped studio apartment which was just what we needed. Small but comfortable and there was everything that we needed. Rooms arranged around a courtyard so it's quiet and peaceful. Prices are very, very reasonable! Free laundry and book swap - always a plus!

Reviewed By Pim LThe property is located near Lake Lacanau which is a lovely spot. It is inexpensive for what one gets and is spacious with a nice balcony. There is a pool albeit a little small , a jacuzzi and bicycles for hire. Management is on hand most of the time. I do feel that the pots & pans need to be replaced as they are old. It is not far from the wineries of the left bank wineries of Bordeaux. I believe the apartment is real good value for money if it is compared to other establishments in the area.

Interesting medieval town

After arriving latewe could not gain access, but we were lucky enough to encounter a resident of the town who promptly rang the proprieter for us. You do need to speak some French if staying here. A comfortable room with plenty of amenities. Didn't eat out so can't comment on the restaurants in the town of which there seem to be one or two. A very pleasant place to stay.

Great location but somewhat disappointing
Reviewed By Shippers1970This studio apartment was reasonably priced, great location, had a bathtub and plentiful hot water. We had stayed here before so expected the decor to be tired and dated. But the reception was closed 90% of the time and the lack of staff clearly showed in the lack of attention to detail- the wifi did not work at all (it took us two days to even get the log in code as it was not in our room). We were a family of three given just two towels, which were not changed once all week despite a sign in bathroom saying they would be. And only two chairs on balcony, and 2 drinking glass only. Disappointing. We will look elsewhere next time we travel.

Reviewed By Clare PFabulous hotel in the centre of Arcachon, beautiful surroundings and close to the beach. Lovely clean apartment, well equipped, spacious and overlooking the attractive main square. The staff at the hotel are very helpful and friendly too. We enjoyed using the hotel hot tub, steam room and roof top terrace. Good value and perfect for seeing the local area.

Reviewed By Beccy37Stayed for 3 nights. Too cramped for 2 adults and 2 children in a family room. Unfortunately the pool was closed for 2 days during our stay, which was very disappointing. There was nothing else in the way of facilities. When we checked out, I was asked if we'd enjoyed our stay, when I said the pool was closed the receptionist decided to argue with me, making the experience even worse.

Reviewed By gpuppi133041Room was not properly cleaned on arrival; even after asking to clean it again, during the whole week noone passed by. One has to change towels by himself. Staff was very unprofessional and unwilling to help out with any issue. Quality of the bed was extremely poor. There was a noisy fan in the room that was running 24 hours a day 7 days a week, and could not be switched off, so it was impossible to sleep during night.
