Perched on the historic C&O Canal, the Georgetown House is an intimate boutique inn offering its guests 11 newly appointed rooms in the heart of quintessential Georgetown. Behind its bright red door and gray brick facade, lays a world of history unbeknownst to even some of its local visitors.
The place is very cute, clean and the location is awesome. But when I arrived after traveling for 24 hrs with phone battery running low and went to check in w the kiosk, it did not work. It would not recognize any of the 3 different credit cards I tried. I called the contact number and left messages twice and texted before someone finally called me back and gave me a code to get in. A waste of an hour that I was stuck outdoors trying to get in. Luckily it was a spring evening, but this would have sucked far worse in snow or rain or late at night or if my phone had died. They should just give you the check in code via email after you pay for the room. The whole kiosk thing is stupid and stressed me out. I only had a few hours free to spend in Georgetown before a work conference and I’m pissed that I had to use that precious time dealing w this. The room wasn’t cheap. Fix your process.

Worst customer service, that I have experienced in a hotel. First of all this place shouldn’t be advertised as a hotel because, it is not. It is an Appartment building, that rents few rooms out per night which is a great idea IF, they had a front desk to check you in, answer a phone call, let you into your room, or bring you an extra blanket when you badly needed one! NONE of those were possible, or happened during our stay! I had to be on the phone on hold 45 minutes in order to be able to check in into our room, because the app wasn’t working, then no one was there to help us get into the room- and, the icing on cake was - when we asked for an extra blanket by text, somebody very rudely texted me back, to go to another Appartment in the building to pick up the blanket… this was 3 hours after. I decided to not do, so…. Instead, I wore my jacket and slept with it on, during the night! Otherwise, the bad experience at the hotel, the neighborhood is great, and seems safe and vibrant but, try to find another place to stay!
Tucked between Foggy Bottom and Georgetown, this Placemakr Experience puts you in a modern neighborhood with lots of history. Some of the city's best restaurants, tastiest coffee shops, and classic attractions are just steps from the front door. These are more than just hotel rooms - they are hospitality-infused spaces, tastefully decorated, and fully stocked with the comforts of home (including a fully-stocked kitchen!). This is more than just a space to spend the night—it’s a place to call home for as long as you’re here.

Joud Residence - Luxurious Furnished Apartments in DC.
This place is condo building that did not sell so now they rent out rooms. Good location but not a great stay. The place was generally dirty, public areas as well as the room. It is cheap for DC but with its few amenities, lack of 24 hour doorman and general filth I won't be staying again.

With so many things to see and do in D.C., you want to be right in the heart of it all. At Stay Alfred at Varsity on K, city highlights like the Kennedy Center, Georgetown, and The White House are all within walking distance. And when these apartments feature full kitchens, in-unit laundry, and spacious floor plans, why would you stay in an ordinary Washington, D.C. hotel? Please note: 30-night minimum stay required at this location.
We stayed in a one bedroom apartment for three nights.Very good location, close to the Foggy Bottom metro station and bus stop. Our room was facing K Street so we didn’t sleep well.Apartment was very spacious, okay clean, it had pretty much everything you need to come home after a long day of sightseeing. Negative: when we moved in,out of six lights in the kitchen area only two were working . Management informed us it could take two days to fix the problem so we ate our breakfasts in semidarkness.Other than that,it was a good place to stay.

Treat yourself to a comfortable home away from home in the heart of Washington, D.C. at Stay Alfred on M Street. Enjoy the view from the rooftop deck and BBQ grilling area - that is, if you’re not busy exploring all that D.C. has to offer. This Washington, D.C. vacation rental sits walking distance from Chinatown, the International Spy Museum and Metro Center station, for optimal city access. Please note: 30-night minimum stay required at this location.

The worst place to stay. We have been our worst experience in the United States with this hotel. The company did not do anything to fix the problems we had. And the price is very very expensive. So we do not recommend it anyway.

Centrally located in downtown D.C., Stay Alfred on 14th Street puts you just blocks from the White House, great restaurants, and renowned cultural attractions. Featuring spacious apartments that include a full kitchen, in-unit laundry, city views, and luxurious furnishings, this isn’t your average Washington, D.C. vacation rental. Why stay across town or in a cramped Washington, DC hotel room when you can live like a local on 14th Street? Please note: 30-night minimum stay required at this location.
Stay Alfred owns a few condos in this building. I have stayed here for an annual conference 2 of the past 3 years. We go as a group, and this is very economical for two sets of adults. The suite is nice enough, but a little weathered. It has in-suite laundry facilities. You are responsible for your own cleaning. It has a full kitchen. It's a bit far (~1 km) from the nearest subway station, but there is a fleet of cabs constantly moving on 14th Street, right in front of the building. If you take an Uber to get here, GPS routing sometimes sends the Uber to the wrong place. Unlike many condo buildings, I find front desk staff here very helpful and friendly.

Everything about this place was great, with one big exception. It had a terrific location near many DC attractions. The amenities were also great, including a rooftop patio with wonderful views of Washinton sites. The problem for us was that it is, in fact, not a hotel, but one of several units rented for short term use in building mostly for long-term rentals or purchase. There is nothing, nothing, there for short-term guests like us. This us NOT made clear in it's on-line listings. Surprise, surprise. All short-term guest support is managed off-site. There is a 24 hour concierge service for the residents, and they tried to be helpful, but they were not trained or in any way directed to help guests like us. This really hit home when we had a whole day between time between checkout and our flight on our last day in DC. The Suite staff could not hold our bags after checkout. Against policy, and no place to store them, we were told. It is not a hotel. So rather than sightsee, we spent much of our last day in DC trying to find a place to stash our luggage (the residence staff tried to help, but had no clue). We finally did manage to find a storage service by Googling , but then had to get there, and , since it was a laundry that did it on the side, return by it's 4:00 PM closing time to retrieve our stuff. Which resulted in an earlier than desired deparure for the airport. Much of our last day in DC was spent managing luggage due to the Newseum Suites refusal to hold it. The place has many nice amenities, but it is not a hotel, so be warned .
