10 Top-Rated Condos in Arkansas

April 18, 2023 Weston Hennigan

Living up to its billing as “The Natural State”, the state is a nature wonderland with three national forests, nearly 9,000 miles of pristine streams and rivers, awe-inspiring settings in the Ozark and Quachita mountains and sparkling lakes. The menu of vacation experiences is an exciting one. For great golf, spas, horse racing and the Hot Springs National Park, Hot Springs is the place to go. Outdoor enthusiasts love the Ozark Mountains where activities like canoeing, rafting, kayaking, fishing, hiking and rock climbing are popular. The mountain village of Eureka Springs, with its streets lined with Victorian homes, is brimming with boutiques, antique shops and art galleries. Wine enthusiasts love the Arkansas Wine Country, encompassing the towns of Paris, Ozark and Altus, where German style wines are produced. From its ancient mountains to the Delta flatlands leveled by the Mississippi River, the state has a diverse topography with numerous scenic drives. Try the Pig Trail, Ozark Highlands and Sylamore scenic byways in the Ozark National Forest designated by the U.S. Forest Service. Golfers love the state because greens fees are extremely affordable for great courses. A few excellent public access courses are Sage Meadows in Jonesboro, Stonebridge Meadows in Fayetteville and the Mountain Ranch Course in Fairfield Bay.

Week long stay in Eureka Springs

We found our room at Bella Paradiso to be clean and well furnished. The location is close to a trolly stop, and within easy walking distance to bars and restaurants. The outdoor seating areas are very comfortable, with a large patio. Unfortunately, being on the main drag into the Historic Downtown, it can be noisey with the occasional string of Harleys.

Good but need updating

Reviewed By BlakeRen

The resort was a nice quiet place to stay. Good views of the lake and mountains. Got a good place to eat on resort. The people are really nice. My son loved the koi fish in the pond. They even had two families of geese with their babies on site. Only thing I would say is that the rooms need more updating. As a young family it just seems like a good stay for older people. Sorry if I offended anyone.

Our time in Bella Vista Arkansas

Reviewed By sjosephinelynn

The units are quite large with a washer and dryer in the unit. The master bedroom and bath are also large. The units are very accessible if you have mobility issues. The only complaint I would have is the kitchen equipment is somewhat scarce. For example, it would be nice to have a liquid measuring cup. Otherwise, the items were satisfactory.

Nice - but No WiFi

Reviewed By Susan Y

Our 2 bedroom unit was spacious and had an excellent view of the lake: the deck was right on the water's edge! The kitchen was small but functional and the spaces were worn but clean. We rented the unit for 3 weeks and would've been happy to stay here except the Wifi wasn't working--which would have been nice to know BEFORE we checked in as we wanted to work remotely...in fact, we weren't even told at check in that there was no internet. We were given a passcode to logon...and it wasn't until the next day that we learned the resort was "between services" and wouldn't be available at all during our stay. After 10 days, we'd used up our phone data and had to check out early. Very disappointing. Would I stay again? Probably...if I didn't need internet...

Birthday Gift Marred

Reviewed By Robert B

I have a premium membership in Veterans Holidays, a vacation club membership opportunity for Veterans. My first booking was for my wife's birthday. A week away from kids and grandkids to have some alone, quality time together. Hamilton Harbor Resorts was our destination with check-in specified as being between 4PM and 6PM. We arrived at 4:30 PM. There were no signs indicating a registration or check- in area. The on-line phone number was no longer a working number. The default number was also "not working". The next number had a voice recording that directed us to send an email. Needless to say, there was no quick response and we were unable to check in. Maybe it is for the best. The picture on-line is deceptive. We saw no swimming pool and the exterior appearance, though rustic, leaves a lot to be desired.
