Reviewed By Iztok OVery nice camp with good tent spots with a lot of shadows. The pool is nice, toilets are clean, staff is friendly and speaks English as well. You have also kids playground in the camp and good store (food and drink). Restaurant in the camp has a good food and prices are friendly :) To reach most beautiful beaches in the world :) you will need a car. First that kind of beach is about 3 km away. There is a lot of free parking by the street and the beach is stunning. I would recommend this camp for sure!

Great place to stay for hikers after doing the GR20

Great for hikers who did the GR20 and want to relax afterwards and explorethe area by rental scooter or car. Clean showers and bathrooms, als very important ;)

Next to the beautiful Palombaggia beach (1km) Campo Ranch welcomes you in authentic and unspoilt surroundings in the heart of Corsican scrub. In the shade of olive trees, among the scents of cistus and myrtle, you will discover a set of mini villas, a restaurant with swimming pool and guest rooms (with a private swimming pool for some of them) built in local stone where calm and privacy are the rule. Our restaurant is open from morning to evening offering an à-la-carte formula, half board or full board. From Campo Ranch, a 20/30-minute walk through the maquis will lead you to the beautiful Carataggio beach nicknamed Tahiti beach reachable only by foot, boat or horse departing from our residence. Campo Ranch is conveniently located to let you go touring throughout the area of South Corsica. You will discover the treasures of its hinterland, with its majestic mountains and the Alta Rocca villages, its towns peering out onto the sea, Porto-Vecchio "city of the salt" or Bonifacio.
Not impressed at all
Reviewed By 942svetlanapThis was an absolute disappointment, would never recommend and not sure why people are writing good reviews. Ranch first of all means that there are stables and horses, comes with the smell too. A lot of mosquitos and the most terrible bites - had blisters that didn't come off for weeks, rush, redness etc. Accommodation needs a lot of work on it, very basic and not been touched for years. In one room that sleeps three people no door separating bedroom from the toilet - only a curtain. Very inconvenient. No hair drier. Asked for an iron - no iron. Breakfast is less than basic in our opinion: baguette, boiled eggs, jam, basic cereal, basic yogurt. One person from all the staff we've met spoke English. Having work in European construction for many years and knowing that safety is paramount - very unsafe environment at the hotel grounds. Around swimming pools there are concrete floors on elevation and as the ground was not evened out before concrete was pored there are very steep highs and lows and no lighting at all. I almost broke a leg. There are small water features not fenced off - again, very easy to step into them when it's dark and there are huge rocks in them, very unsafe. There are two pools and inside there is a electronic cleaning "robot" which is a big box wired through the pool to outside electricity point. Not only that the robot is in the pool most of the time (the pools is small), but the wire is going across the pool high fence, hanging through the foot path. At night there are dogs barking in the fields - nightmare. Had to lock all the windows, didn't help, air-conditioning is very out of date and works loudly, so no good sleep. Rooms are not cleaned. For the whole duration of our stay no one came to change towels or to clean. Choosing this hotel was a real upset to all of us. Nearest beach is ok, but unbelievably crowded.

Reviewed By Rachel HWe found the staff helpful. Chalet was better than expected. Pool is clean and a pleasant temperature in July. Local nearby shop handy but expensive. Great location for visiting Bonifaccio, Palombaggia, Porto-vecchio, Sainta Giulia and so on.
