Reviewed By KewpieW1We stayed two nights in Hostel Tomato in two different private rooms. We loved how detail oriented it is, you can see the thoughts behind everything - even the toothbrush. The room isn't very spacious but for a hostel it's great. The private rooms come with private bath, which runs hot spring water so we enjoyed the hot spring very much. It's very clean even in the shared space. On the 4th floor there is a common space where some lifestyle and cultural magazines are provided. The breakfast was simple but good. And I like how they host different exhibition each season. Will definitely come back again, and would recommend it to anyone who is planning to visit Jiaoxi.

N. Castle Hotel are located in Yilan city center. Our hotel is near Yilan Railway Station(3 min. by walking) and Dongmen Night Market(1 min. by walking) . Besides, department stores, movie theatre, hospitals and pharmacies are nearby. N. Castle Hotel will be not only inexpensive but convenience choice.
Good location but everything is self-service here.
Reviewed By GoTravelasia99We arrived before noon but nobody was in the front desk. I contacted them through the intercom at the main door and was told that front desk will only be opened after 3pm. So we just left our luggage at the front desk and went out for sightseeing. There was nobody taken care of your luggage. Apart from the limited operating time of the front desk, the room was somehow spacious and clean. Bed is comfortable and hotel is strategically located close to railway station and the night market.

Little houses are set in beautiful garden and its architecture is cutting edge The breakfast is included and excellent The rooms are all different and nicely and minimalistically decorated. Bigger suites have an onsen bath. The place is quiet and serene. English is not spoken at all and when we arrived at 7 pm they could not serve any food at all as you need to book in advance. Annoying as it is a bit middle of nowhere. A part from that I would still recommend the place and to book your meal!

We booked a deluxe Queen room with 2 queen beds and added an extra bed which was placed in a small room with view of the outdoor hotspring. The room was spacious and clean but minimally furnished. There were no luggage racks so we placed our bags on the floor. The bathroom was spacious but the wash basin was very small - not enough space to even place toothbrushes for the 5 of us. However, it was compensated by a huge hotspring tub which we could dip and relax with privacy.... Breakfast was a good spread and on the second morning, the kitchen specially prepared pork and chicken cutlets as a variety for us. The staff were friendly and helpful too, always greeting us with big smiles. When one of them spotted my husband applying tea to the insect bites on his legs after breakfast, she immediately offered him with an ointment. And when we returned to our room in the evening, another staff in the evening shift came to our room to offer the ointment and applicators again. Such is an excellent customer service which is highly appreciated. P.s. There's also a room for kids to ride on battery operated toy cars, we're too old for them but they sure look fun!

Reviewed By pulmbubble飯店位在礁溪的郊區，四周一片綠油油，很舒適。遠離礁溪市區以及大街的擁擠人潮。房間的空間很大，而且廁所跟衛浴空間分開，這點很棒。浴室裡有超大溫泉浴缸，碳酸氫鈉溫泉，泡起來非常舒適。房內備品高級。早餐非常豐盛，而且用餐時間很長。飯店為美國白宮造型，晚上有燈光拍起來很漂亮。飯店前有一大片美麗草皮。唯一缺點是沒有24小時服務前檯。渡假的好飯店，而且價格平實。

There are free bicycles available for ride into the rice fields and to the areas nearby. You can enjoy walking, biking, eating and staying like local people do is one of the best ways to experience the essence of Taiwan. VILLA LOHERB also runs a restaurant which serves café, afternoon tea and steak dishes with local ingredient from Yilan along with mountain views outside. If weather permits, diners can have their meals outdoors in a garden setting. This is a great place to stay for holding conferences, celebrating events, or simply spending a few relaxing days in this pretty environment. Furthermore, the landscape changes by seasons, welcome to come here again and again.

Reviewed By gnutechNot worth it. There hotel is nice and kind of new (2015), but got the price it has several shortcomings: no TV but projector, which is barely visible during daytime or with lights on, we had only 1 toilet paper roll and no hot water in the morning.

Nice place, but a falls a little short...
Reviewed By greenmonstertaiwanWife and I came here for our anniversary. It's way off the beaten path...small roads to get there. Outside of any major city. It is exactly 1 hour from the Taipei 101. When we checked in the front desk clerk did not want to speak English, but started to after a little encouragement. We stayed in a romantic villa. One large queen bed. It was quite expensive, so I was very shocked at the condition of the room. Under-maintained would be the proper way to put it. The wallpaper was coming up, random nails, screws and wires sticking out of the wall. Weird stains here and there. Very disappointing. It had it's own small "private" pool. It wasn't quite private though. You could see the second floor lodge and the rooms above too. Not private. There is a public pool but the hours it is available are pretty ridiculous. Not very many times you can use it, and you have to wear a ridiculous swim cap. There are some beautiful birds in cages along a small path as well as a large pond that runs through most of the property. They have bicycles you can use for free (but everything is very far away) I'm not sure where you would want to ride them to. There just isn't enough on the property to do to really be able to call this a "resort." The restaurant was very delicious for dinner, but not so much for breakfast. For what we paid for this place, it wasn't near worth it.

Reviewed By nikitapheeUp in the mountain with nice view. Room is clean with hot water and a bathtub. Food is delicious too but don't stay too long as the variety of the food does not change. They have a farm where you can eat the fruits inside without paying.
