Nice hotel, nice hosts, nice breakfast and dinner....
Reviewed By nicolaas mThis is a very nice place to stay although some rooms are older. But these rooms are very clean and functional. Good beds and good bath/shower. They are renovating the hotel step by step and they (the owner who does it by himself) is doing a wonderful job. There is a large swimming pool, 2 tennis fields and on site bicycle rent. The beach is right next door about 100 metres. This is a nice, easy and comfortable hotel where they will do everything to make you happy.

Reviewed By Isabel_delNice place, our three children were very happy to sleep in this big tent. We spent only one night before going to the futuroscope, (15min driving) , breakfast is very good and owners very nice....we recommend!

The welcome and service was smiling and constantly available. The breakfast buffet was excellent ( the coffee from a machine would my sole area of improvement ). An excellent address to see the nearby pleasure park , Le Puy de Fou.

Reviewed By Sharon QWe stayed only for one night, and delighted with the size of the room quality of furnishings and decor. It was 5 minutes drive from Puy Du Fou so was perfect, would like tea and coffee facilities in the room, but were available in reception vending machines.

The owner, Stefan was extremely helpful and kindly organised dinner booking for us (we were arriving horribly late) in nearby Vouvant (a must visit). We stayed in the Windmill room on each occasion ( loved it) and woke up to stunning view over the countryside. We had access to the breakfast area as well as our own lounge kitchen. The very large lounge in the castle itself was full of the most eclectic and enjoyable art/ nature exhibitions. Julie and the team sorted out a great breakfast for us. Really enjoyed. Be there to see the sunrises and sunsets. Wonderful Stefan and team. Fantastic. Hope to see you again soon. Paul and Vivien

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les proprietaires qui nous ont traité comme des amis, nous ont fournis un tas d'infos utiles et ont tout fait pour alléger notre stress d'acheteurs avec humour et jovialité. La chambre est très confortable , la cuisine faite maison, tout a un prix correct. Rien à redire à part merci et bon courage pour le reste de la rénovation de votre établissement.

Reviewed By Paula SPerfect place to stay if you are visiting Puy de Fou. The bungalows are basic and the kitchen is tiny with no cooker, just 2 electric rings, a microwave and a small fridge. There is also a toaster and kettle provided. 3 of us stayed in a 6 person bungalow and it was ok any more and it would have been too cramped. All bungalows have somewhere to eat outside but the picnic table for our bungalow was broken. There is free WiFi but the signal isn't strong. Try to get a bungalow away from the main road as it is quite busy and noisy. Not a luxurious stay but definitely adequate for our needs.

The comfort and the cleanliness was superb, well heated for December, and the food including the evening meal that we had was totally fulfilling. The place is a little way off the beaten track, but that made for a very peaceful stay.

Our house is located 100 meters from the sea you will find the beach Mardi Gras where the famous movie Cesar & Rosalie has been shoot. The ride will push you to the Bois de la Chaise woods and many other places still ... The village is 300 meters from the house you will find many sevices.

The disabled room up 17 steps....

Despite making the request for disabled room with double bed 1 week in advance was given a room on the upper floor, ....no lift....39 metres from the staircase, and with twin beds. There were no facilities whatsoever for disabled guests. The bathroom so narrow that it is impossible to turn round. Even had I been able to msnoever onto the wc I doubt there would have been room to use it. The staff at check in explained that this was the only free room, with little dympsyhy for my predicament
