Excellent family resort
Reviewed By David GI spent a long weekend with my parents at La Biesca and could not be more pleased about the great comfort and attention we got there. It is a great place to stay and relax. It is located next to the wonderful village of Ribadesella on the seaside and not too far from the mountains. I will come back for sure

Great place in a great area of Spain
Reviewed By usa-travel-11We stayed at El Cuadron with our kids and some friends. The place was super clean and the host, Maite, was super welcoming. This hotel is located about 4 km outside Ribadesella and is nice a quiet on a hiking trail. Would recommend to all! Thanks for a great visit.

Simple country hotel
Reviewed By jgj_seattleThis was a great little find. It is a simple country hotel with newly remodeled and clean rooms that face a large courtyard. The woman that managed the hotel was a darling and she even joined us for yoga in the morning. The break fast was great as was the strong coffee. I was very comfortable there and would recommend staying here. It is not an upscale place but quaint because of its country location, cleanliness and simplicity. Only down side is that the wifi didn't work after a certain hour in the evening. It seemed like they turned it off.

Reviewed By LaViajera007We spent two nights here and loved this part of town. Room sizes are different so ask to see available rooms first before just taking the one offered to you. We have a small double but, truthfully, the coziness worked for us because we didn't have too much luggage and stuff with us. Good restaurants are nearby and the walk on the waterfront is not far at all. We loved our time in Ribadesella and also this unique old house hotel.

The hotel has a friendly and curtious staff, high service level, while food and drinks are on the pricey side and particularly local. The rooms are clean and nice. Prices of the rooms reflects the price level and I have no complaints. This place comes recommended.

Friendly receptionist but little else to recommend
Reviewed By Sunil-voraAgain arrived at a hotel to find there was no onsite restaurant and no option for an early breakfast. In the end the friendly receptionist agreed to prepare a few things for our breakfast so that we could still have an early start. The room was not very welcoming and the bedding uncomfortable.

Lovely Cosy Hotel
Reviewed By Maria GIf you are looking for a gem in the countryside, this is the place for you. At only 20 minutes by car from the beach in Ribadesella, La Posada del Alba is a little hotel far up in the mountains, in a a tiny village in a lovely position. But the hotel itself is a little jewel: furnished with great taste even to the minor detail, in a very calm, relaxed and warm atmosphere. The owner, Lourdes, a painter whose work is shown in the house, is a perfect guest. Breakfast was quite good and she cooked a very fine dinner for us. We do recommend this place without hesitation. Thank you Lourdes for your warm hospitality.

Amazing views from windows and lot of great place where going for a walk. Also by car there are lot of great spots such as Ribadesella or Playa de Vega. I would repeat here for sure.
