Reviewed By UrsosarctosThis hotel is well-situated in a small hamlet with great countryside and wildlife nearby. Sadly, we were just passing through, but we plan to return. The hotel is very clean ad comfortable, although our room was not large. It is (of course) very quiet. The restaurant was almost empty, but produced good home cooking - very large portions. They could be more welcoming - we had to search out service a couple of times, and had the feeling that we were interrupting them. Recommended.

Reviewed By Cartajena2017Hostal Orejas is at walking distance from the Estación de Autobuses, and two blocks from the “Old Town”; it offers a continental breakfast for 3 Euros, a clean room, fair bathroom, ( hair dryer on request) and it is in the second floor of an interesting old building... we got lost a couple of times trying to find our room, because the hostal has two entrances, and two elevators.... the streets are busy with tourists and cafés till very late. It is pretty nice. There is a lot to do, all within walking distance. We stayed two nights, We loved Leon!

Location is perfect on Plaza Mayor. There is a pharmacy next door and numerous places to eat and drink. No cafe/bar in this hotel.

Reviewed By Nuno NI have to say that I was very surprised with the quality of the room. Everything was new and the bed was superb! It's a shame that it's located where it is, as I don't think many people pass through, but if your driving through the area or on your way to Leon, I highly recommend it if they keep up the good work.

Good also when walking the Camino
Reviewed By JCom_OsloWe had two rooms for a total of three adults when walking the Camino Frances: Good localisation both for people coming by car or by foot. This is a truck stop, but the windows were good insulated and the rooms had air conditioning, so there were no noice to be heard from outside. Nice big rooms with comfortable beds. Breakfast was alright. We also had a nice 3 meal meny in the evening. Very recommendable.

It would be nice to have more than 2 coffee pods (we stayed one night). For dinner try Pablo (one Michelin star). Absolutely worth it.

One of the nicest hosts we’ve met on the Camino

But best of all is Joseph, the host, who made us a wonderful breakfast - scrambled eggs, yoghurt with local honey and told us lots of interesting stories at the same time. He also gave us helpful tips about where to eat at our next stop and info about the festival in Ponferrada.

Reviewed By Alex_123654We found this great hotel by accident on our way to Las Medulas, when we stopped to refuel. It was getting late so we checked online for the hotels in the area and discovered that the adjoining building was actually a hotel. We made the right choice spending a night there - it's all brand new, lovely bald colours everywhere (our room was decorated in orange details) and very clean. Loved it! Worth every cent we paid for it. The lady at the reception/cafe was amazing too. We bought coffee to go in the morning and she gave us some nice cake to try, which was very nice and heartwarming.
