Reviewed By Canaldo01Wow ... what a find. Our plans changed due to Covid restrictions and we are so glad they did. Jean Michel and his team run a beautiful hotel, very friendly and I would recommend to anyone. The rooms are very comfortable, and the bathrooms with the heated floors are great. We had mountain view rooms which really added the extra element of the Alps feeling to our stay. The resultant and bar and first class. The steaks are to die for ... one of the best steak meals I've (and the whole group agreed) that we have had. We had to go back for a second night it was that good. All in all an amazing few days helped by having amazing accommodation.

Good sport centre but terrible canteen
Reviewed By Ennio SOur experience was widely satisfying with the sportive center offers. The canteen offers where terrible. Need to care about the taste of dishes and the cooking style, entire slice of ham on pasta for example. Rice overcooked and raw in the same dish shows that in order to produce a lot the quality decreases.

The hotel has a super atmosphere and all what is necessary for the guest to feel great: comfortable beds in pleasant room, exquisite breakfast, a highly recommended restaurant and a sauna as a gift for the end of the day. Many thanks to Ben and all the team that attended us!

Reviewed By _rwpluimWe have stayed here last night as a stop over from Italy to The Netherlands. Great location, easy to park the car. Easy access and great information prior to the visit. Wifi worked well and shower was good. I can imagine that this location is very populair during winter period, near the snow piste. Host Marhilde is very friendly and speaks English and French.

Our Guest House and après ski bar (serving traditional Swiss and Canadian pub style food) offers an ideal location next to the Grand Paradis chair lift, comfortable rooms, great après ski, fireplace and a sunny terrace. During the summer, Champéry is a charming biking and walking haven with a former world cup downhill piste. Tour the Dents du Midi or Dents Blanches mountain ranges. In the winter, we are ideal for small or large groups looking for a cosy winter getaway!
great stay in wooden lodge
Reviewed By AfromLRelatively simple accomodation but great for people that take their skiing seriously and prefer to be a bit away from it all. We stayed for 4 nights in a 3 person room and really enjoyed it. Breakfast was simple but acceptable, dinner was OK, but not good enough to eat here every night, so we ventured out into town. That´s OK though not ideal as you need to drive there. Staff very friendly, room clean and pleasant, location fabulous. Almost like being in a wooden cabin in the forest. Being able to ski to your door is also a big upside.

Reviewed By suparapluA nice place to go with kids to see the animals, a beautiful view on the Dents du Midi, very friendly service, nice to see the staff remains loyal. But the food could be better. Guess this is a good place for amateurs of röstis, but not for salads neither for quiche.

New Year in Les Crosets
Reviewed By 934marnixwWe had a great time at the Chalet, Jean Mark, Flavius and Jennifer were lovely hosts. We had a lovely fresh continental breakfast in the morning. Flavius and Jennifer cooked a really tasty dinner which was great value for money. You can order drinks as well. It is truly ski-in ski-out with the lifts being only about 50 yards away. The bedrooms are basic but clean and well kitted out. If you need anything, you can ask and if they can help they will. Because of COVID, no proper apres ski, but that is not Jean Mark and Flavius fault. We had a wonderful new year, made all the better due to their hosting. Thanks very much!

Le Poussin hostel is situated in the Swiss Alps in the Portes du Soleil ski area. We are open winter and summer time. It is a great location with fascinating views! In the winter you just step out of your room straight on to the slopes. In the summer you have wonderful mountain paths to explore the Swiss Alps.
Perfect for an off-season stay
Reviewed By danperez28My friend and I passed through Champoussin on our way to the Dents du Midi trail and stayed one night. Traveling from the U.S., we arrived at the Val d'Illiez train station to find not much in English. Calling Hostel Le Poussin, I spoke with Nanoe who arranged for another hotel employee to pick us up in his car (great hospitality!). Even though we were there in the off-season, we enjoyed hiking around the stunning grounds of the hotel. We also enjoyed the food and beverages in the hotel. The staff (Nanoe, Ilber and Florian) were extremely friendly and we loved hanging out and chatting with them. The room was very clean and the entire hotel was wonderful. As with most traveling, the best experiences are the unplanned ones (as was this). However, I would highly recommend anyone in the area to book a stay here, whether for skiing in the winter, or simply enjoying the amazing scenery in the spring, summer or fall. Two thumbs up and extremely recommended!

perfect ski chalet
Reviewed By saraI22014This is a spacious and nice chalet, ideal for a skitrip. It has a rustic, very comfortable and warm interior. Nice big kitchen, dining room and cosy living room with fireplace (wood included). The sleeping rooms are big enough with very good beds in some rooms. Only point of criticism are the showerheads. They are a bit aged and may be replaced. Handy skiroom, even with shoe warmers. The chalet is really well equipped. The owner has thought of everything. We have enjoyed the terrace at the back of the chalet a lot. We were a group of (middle-aged) friends and loved the atmosphere we could experience from the après-ski bar next door, practically in the backyard of the chalet. The bar closes in time, so no noise at night (only on fridaynight when we were there, but that was a special occasion). The location right in the middle of Morgins is handy, everything reachable by foot. Skilift and piste are only a short walk away. So a perfect sik chalet in Morgins.
