Reviewed By Elmer RI am super amazed with this hotel. They've called it "The Hidden Gem in Panglao Bohol". The place is very nice, very clean and very relaxing. This is 15 mins walk to Alona Beach. The staffs are very friendly and easy to communicate. We will definitely comeback but this time with my Family! recommend for working from home, couples or groups.

Reviewed By AnthonBaliuagWe went to Bohol Bee farm for lunch. The food did not disappoint! Try the spareribs, seafood soup and fish kinilaw for the adventurous eaters! The view was perfect, we went down to the view deck after lunch. Try their organic ice cream, malunggay flavor was the best for me. The complimentary bread was perfect with the malunggay spread and honey spread. These spreads including pesto spread are perfect for pasalubong too! Value for money is 10/10. Location is 100000/10. Food taste is also 10/10!

The rooms are really spacious, has hot & cold shower, a fridge, and a safe box. Everyone was very accommodating from the staffs to the owner! They’ll gladly give you tips on where to go around the area and the best activities to do. Really enjoyed my stay here! Can’t wait to be back!

The 2012 opened Alona42 Resort is located in a central but quiet location. The western end of the famous Alona Beach is about 300 meters or 3 minutes walk. The modern and comfortable rooms are set around a tropical garden. All rooms have comfortable single or double beds, silent split aircon, electric fans, room safe and private terraces. The batthrooms are built to european standards and have hot and cold freshwater. To relax the guests can use the landscaped garden with tropical plants for soaking up the warm sun or relaxing with a drink in the lounge with bar. The resort serves breakfast, snacks and hot and cold beverages.

Close to the lively and busy Alona Beach, yet a peaceful, quiet and relaxing hotel to come home to. The front staff- Michael and Jessa - were friendly, helpful and informative. I forgot name of the other girl on duty the 24th. Welcome drinks are given. It’s okay to drink as they use bottled water. Breakfast was included in our booking. It was delish! Gina was the best! Attentive, social and friendly. She made sure everything was good to go with all the guests. A real sunshine to have around. You can order food and beverages. We didn’t get a chance to, but they offer a good selection. The Dining Area is open with a pool view as well as the beautiful, green grassy lawn adorned with palm trees. When we had our breakfasts there, a soothing and non-intrusive jazz music was playing. Thumbs up! Good taste! We had Room #9 on the ground floor behind the dining area. There’s a small terrace with outdoor table and chairs, plus umbrellas, if needed for a rainy day. We used it when Ursula was close by! The room was very clean, spacious and well decorated. It has a safe box, fridge (with drinks for a fee), cable tv and well a functioning air conditioning. They had accommodated us with a double bed. It was very comfy as well as the pillows and the nice comforter. Complimentary bottled waters provided. Bathroom Nice size bathroom with simple amenities provided. The hot/cold shower provided good a water pressure. Toilet water pressure is good. Pool and gardens They have a nice size pool, but we didn’t get a chance to use it. The garden is well kept. Nice green grass, palm trees with orchids attached on the trunks as well as flowering plants. Aliya the Dog and the cats Aliya the resident dog as well as the 2 cats (not sure if they were also residents) also added that home-like feeling to the hotel. Aliya got curious about our room and came in one day and felt at home under the bed. We’re pets lovers and like seeing pet residents in hotel properties that we stay at. Alona Beach and the city center The beach and city center (restaurants and cafes) is walking distance from the hotel. There’s a short cut from the hotel, but I won’t recommend using it at night. Tricycle There are tricycles close by the hotel if you need a ride to the city center. But you can easily walk going the longer route. City Center There is a Dunkin’ Donuts, McDonald’s and 7-11 as well as restaurants, cafes and small supermarkets. Try Trudi’s by the beach. Good food, cheap and right by the water. It’s ok to drink water or have the fruit shakes as they use bottled water. Alona 42 A big Thank You to everyone at Alona42. We will definitely come back. Keep up the great work!

The Glebe Coffee downstairs and near to McDonald's and Jollibee. This hotel is a perfect place to stay in Panglao because of its accessibility.

Reviewed By 669niksWe had a splendid time of 10 days at Bohol Vantage Resort and had absolutely nothing to claim. The view is stunning, the staff is friendly and very helpful, you can rent scooters at a fair rate, the rooms are clean and the deluxe version have an incredible view from their giant balcony. All beaches at Panglao are easy to reach by scooter which is by far the cheapest way to travel in Bohol like in many Asian places. The pool is more a less an infinity one with a panorama view and an included bar with sitting opportunities even inside the pool. The Wi-Fi connection is always good and the breakfast is nice, plus the staff is always happy to help out with extra wishes like Omlettes or whatsoever without any extra payment.

almost perfect despite location
Reviewed By Eddy_Awan_Nanohad a wonderful 4 nights stay with them. booked the deluxe apartment which was very spacious. 2 floors with 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. spotless clean and everything in the villa is very well maintained. our room was make up everyday even without asking. the staffs are always ready and eager to serve your needs. just book any tours with them and trust me it's rather cheaper than else where. probably they don't take any commission, also the staffs I find them reluctant to receive any tips. location of the resort is just 10mins walk away from the Alona Beach full of bars and restaurants. FYI they provide complimentary airport transfer too.
