We stayed there during our camino and it was rated as a superior accommodation. The rooms were clean and neat we stayed in the main building on the ground floor the rooms are not sound proof so all the noise from adjacent or above is heard .When we arrived at 14:30 after a 27 km walk we wanted to eat and were told the restaurant is full dinner is 19:30 The dinner was fine Not impressed with the host attitude towards guest I hope i was an exception

Casa Camino is a beautiful complex of ancient stone buildings that date back hundreds of years, all of which have been lovingly restored to create a quiet, restful and very comfortable place to stay. It is ideally located in the heart of the region, with good connections to all the major roads. So you are able to tour the region by car, visiting the many stunning sites and attraction's of Galicia.
If you want to experience the character, serenity and quiet of a casa rural you need to stay at Casa Camino. The owner Sue took care of my sister and I, and made us feel at home. Just what we needed. The property is stunning and the rooms are fully equipped. The only thing to consider is a taxi ride to the house (12 euros). One way only because you can take the Camino Primitivo the next day that passes by the house. It was a nice change to our plan.

Great place to stay, close to castle. They come to pick you up in minutes and take you to this wonderful white home in the country side that is run by a brother and sister. They are truly lovely and very caring. We had a very rainy day and it was really a flash back to childhood to stay in the place with all the rain outside. Dinner was very good and the place is very clean.

I'm posting a very late review of the wonderful Albergue Casa Sabela from my time walking the Camino Frances in Oct/Nov 2019 - a lifetime ago! I had begun to experience some pain in my leg (shin splints) which required me to take a break earlier than expected that day. The Albergue is only a very short distance off the trail - I walked it in 10 mins and met Mar in the car coming to pick me up. Honestly if you are fit and able I wouldn't think twice about the minor detour to the Albergue. The place, like the people, is fantastic - warm, welcoming and for me at that moment in time a place where I could recuperate in comfort. The accommodation is fantastic and before dinner the various guests assembled in the living room in front of a roaring fire, meeting, chatting and exchanging tales. Even though it was the end of the season there were still quite a few people there and we had dinner together - an amazing paella with all the trappings. Most important however was the friendly and authentic helpfulness provided by Mar and her husband. She went out of her way to help me with a particular request I had. This place is wonderful I would recommend it any time o f the year. Hopefully the Camino will open up soon and I highly recommend this Albergue as a warm and welcoming place to rest your head and nourish the soul. x

Family house, separate rooms with bathrooms. Possibility of breakfast, wifi, parking and an outdoor terrace. Hours: Entrance at 13: 00h and departure before 11:00 AM the next. Pets are not allowed.
We stayed at O Cruceiro one night on our way to Santiago. Excellent price/value. The double room we had was new very spacious and perfectly clean. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The building has no special appeal from the outside but the view to the close mountains really compensates. We would definitely come back here.
