Beautiful Lake View from the Balcony
Reviewed By BrewskiTravelerWe had an excellent stay at this hotel. The room was spotless and nicely furnished. It is located right on lake front. The check in was fast and the staff super friendly and helpful. When we arrived the staff helped us unload our bags from the car and ushered us in while another person parked our car for us. Car park is complimentary and just a short 2 minute walk from the hotel. Then we were shown to our room and the bags brought up shortly. The staff were great in suggesting things to see and do. You can buy discounted tickets for the Ropeway and ferry at the hotel. The view of the lake from the balcony was awesome. The breakfast was also plentiful and tasty. The area Ita Thao has a lively food scene in the evening. Lots of restaurants and cafes to choose from. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be back.

Reviewed By jamesng_sfHu Yue is conveniently located at the Yidashao ferry terminal at Sun Moon Lake. Staff is friendly and helpful The Lake view room is spectacular. Room is very well maintained with all the needed necessity. Since it's right at the Yidashao market, all the restaurants or Taiwanese snack place are in walking distance. The included breakfast was outstanding as well, offering wide range of variety. Hu Yue is great for both family with kids, or couples who is looking for a romantic getaway.

Quiet and nice place for instagram. Good to travel up with a hired driver. You may lose your way if you check in at night. Have a good local guide with you.

They know their weakness, but they use that as their strong point by helping carry the luggage whenever they saw you carry it. Reviewed By Roberta JThis was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Our room was spacious and very tastefully and thoughtfully equipped. There was lots of room to put our belongings and the little balcony was delightful. Our room had both a shower and a bathtub. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. The location was just a few steps from the bus station and was walking distance to every place we wanted to go to. I would definitely recommend this little treasure!

Reviewed By Dennis123400This is a place where you can really enjoy relaxing moments by listening to the sounds of the rain when it rains, heavenly sounds that you will not hear in other places. I think it is the main reason why it is called 聽濤園 in Chinese. 這是一個你可以真正的享受片刻輕鬆的地方。尤其當雨落下來的時候，打在屋頂上的樂音，是天籟之聲。這樣的樂音是你在別處聽不到的聲音。我想，這也是它為什麼取名為聽濤園的主要原因。

A querky hotel
Reviewed By SurreyMashaIt is difficult to find this hotel. It is tucked away down a narrow road though there are signs to guide you there. The hotel is clean with fantastic views towards the mountains. The host was very friendly and drove us to a restaurant. There are lots of animals around who were all sweet. It is querky as the bed linen is all very floral including the sheets and the breakfast area is full of teddy bears and Christmas decorations. The breakfast was good and there is a bean to coffee maker. My only complaint is that the towels were too small but otherwise it was a great place to stay.
