Classy and a cheese platter thrown in!

Turning 50 was a big deal and going back to Byron was on my wishlist. Ned and Adrian were so accommodating and helpful and breeze to stay with for 5 days. A short walk into town and the Azur has it's own pool and sauna....no need to leave! Recommended totally for the cheese platter alone! Thanks again Peter & Hazel.

I had to travel to Byron for a funeral and chose to stay at the Guesthouse for two days. It was a fabulous experience and very affordable. The accommodation was clean and attractive, very comfortable and relaxing, the service was amazing and relaxing out the back by the pool was just lovely. I can’t wait to come back again.

The Bower

The Bower - combines the barefoot ambiance of Byron Bay with the discreet and effortless elegance of New York boutique accommodation. The Bower – positioned on one of Byron Bay’s original properties – is a destination. It's relaxed, palm-filled compound features accommodation offerings for all experiences: The Bower Suites, The Bower Cottage, The Bower Barn and The Bower House. Each one is unique, re-envisioned and redesigned to offer the understated luxury and simplicity of Byron Beach Abodes, with the emphasis on beauty and simplicity.

Lovely, private accommodation for a child-free getaway.

Fabulous accommodation for a child-free getaway. Located just a short walk from the centre of town, The Bower was a great find for an all-girls weekend away. Bikes were available to use between 9am – 6pm – the same time as reception was open. This makes getting into and around town quite easy, but walking is just as good, particularly after needing to walk off a large meal and a few sneaky beverages. Every member of staff that we encountered were very friendly, and very happy to help with anything we needed. The pool area is gorgeous. It’s a large pool surrounded by day beds and a bar just outside the gate. There was background music creating a nice ambience and (apart from us being quite talkative) it was generally a peaceful area. The pool is heated which adds that nice level of comfort year round. Only opens at 8am though and closes at 7.00pm. Would recommend this as a place to stay – maybe not for families …. But definitely for the big kids. Down-side: paying the price you do for this accommodation, it would be preferable to have all the amenities in the room without having to call reception to get them. If you need an ironing board and iron post 6.00pm, reception is closed. So think ahead.

Cavvanbah Beach House

A stone’s throw from Byron Bay’s spectacular surf beach and just minutes walk from the town centre, Cavvanbah Beach House is set amongst lush sub-tropical gardens on a quiet, secluded street – the perfect location for your holiday accommodation so you can relax, unwind and enjoy a peaceful beachside getaway. Our boutique property offers privacy that many hotels and guest houses cannot match. Each of our rooms has its own private entrance with direct access to the salt-water pool and gardens. Our location is second to none, and our proximity to the beach has to be seen to be believed. A short sandy track is all that separates your accommodation from Byron Bay's spectacular Belongil Beach. The property is nestled in beautiful tree-lined Cavvanbah Street which is set back from the main road into Byron – far enough to enjoy peace and quiet, but close enough to give you direct access to the very best of Byron Bay.

Luxurious beachfront villas? Tired & Tatty might be more accurate.

Reviewed By HMSBrisbane

We suggest many of the claims made with respect to this accomodation are exaggerated. We stayed in April Sun, which is tired & tatty (the photos on the website do not reflect the current condition). Flooring inside & of the deck is scratched & worn; dust under this beds; dirty kitchenware; ancient (wobbly) 2-plate electric cooker; an enormous casserole pot is the sole cookware. The website states that "a short sandy track is all that separates your accommodation from Byron Bay's spectacular Belongil Beach" - whereas in reality you need to cross two train tracks & the 'sandy track' borders an area littered with rubbish where people are sleeping rough in tents; it looked rather unappealing. The advertised Bali pool was unusable during our visit as all the planting had been cleared, leaving only a large dirt pile & plant stumps. Most unattractive. The final insult was that we had not been warned workmen would also be working on the unit directly in front of us (separated only by an insubstantial fence). On speaking to the owner, he implied that it was our problem as we should have been out rather than at the accomodation! We instead cancelled our scheduled zoom meetings & phone calls which were impossible to conduct against the noise. That there was no genuine apology or offer of redress simply confirmed the overall attitude.

Great little place in Byron Bay

Reviewed By Kimabbe21

Great little place for short stay, well priced for Byron Bay. Very friendly staff & close walk to beach, shops etc. Would recommend this place. Just a small note, the bathroom is only frosted glass doors so you can't be shy regarding showering, toilet as can see through somewhat, didn't bother us as a couple but might for some.
