Reviewed By TriDmnThe owner and staff of this hotel have done everything to ensure a high quality, welcoming stay to all their guests. The hotel is full of charm with updated beautiful rooms. The breakfast dining room is full of beautiful place settings, fresh homemade food, and a fabulous hostess to take care of your needs. Bayeux is a very walkable town filled with great shops and restaurants. The cathedral and museums are well worth a visit. My daughter and I traveled around France and Italy over 10 days and this was one of our very favorite places we stayed. We hope to be able to come back someday.

Reviewed By Kenneth432We had a group of 8 couples, so we had the entire facility. Amazing grounds with really nicely maintained facilities. All of the rooms were great. We had the 2 bedroom apartment which is large, comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast was great, but what else would you expect in France. The staff was always helpful and friendly. Sucre, the manager, made arrangements for first class cooking classes, tours and transfers, whatever we needed. Nice fitness centre with spa facilities... great massages available. Beautiful indoor pool. Approximately 2 km walk to Honfluer where there are many restaurants and lots of shopping. If you want a first class peaceful, relaxing holiday, this is the place

Set in the historic centre of Caen, just off the Place St-Martin is this lovingly-restored mansion, dating from the sixteenth to the eighteenth centuries.Sylvie and Jean Noel have used traditional materials in the restoration, which has revealed the stone and timber ceilings and the superb curved staircase leading to the guest rooms, or rather suites as they are so very large and so richly furnished and decorated.Delicious breakfasts with candle are served at small tables in the ground-floor dining room.
A Lovely Place to Stay and Great Location
Reviewed By FLBThis is a lovely bed and breakfast in a great part of town. Our green room was very large and comfortable. David, the owner, greeted us upon our arrival and helped us with our luggage to our room. Our room was very quiet even though there were four people staying in the room next door. Using the bathtub/shower was a bit of a challenge getting in and out because the tub has a very high side to it. The continental breakfast included juice, fresh fruit, yummy bread and pastry, cheeses and a hot beverage. It was perfect for us and the woman serving us was lovely. The big downside for us was when it was time for us to depart there was no one there to assist us with our luggage. We are seniors and were traveling with 3 pieces of luggage, each weighing about 30 pounds. The stairway is winding and hard to maneuver with the luggage. If we were still in our 20s and were just traveling with a backpack it would not have been a problem.

A wonderful place to stay in Honfleur
Reviewed By melisofNot only are the rooms beautifully decorated and comfortably appointed, the breakfast is delicious and generous. WE were a group of 10 and took over the whole house - a home away from home. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The garden is beautiful too. Centrally located on one of the main streets of Honfleur, you will be within walking distance of the major sights and many restaurants. Parking is across the street on the garden side. Definitely a top top address in Honfleur.

Art Deco villa built in 1937, right in historic center of Bayeux next to train station, museums, restaurants and place du Quebec (tours pick up place). We have several rooms with Cathedral view and private balcony or terrace. Bayeux is a beautiful city a few miles to the d-day beaches (10 minutes). Staying at Bayeux is a good choise to be near all the most beautiful sights of Normandy: Mont Saint Michel, Honfleur, Saint Malo, Caen, Deauville, ... We are also at 2:30 hours to Paris. Reviewed By martinsB3397PGGreat hotel in an excellent location to explore Bayeux from. The room we had was on the second floor at the rear with views across the car park towards the tapestry museum. Breakfast was excellent and the friendly service made us feel very much at home.

No responsable on site ,if you have any problems you have to speak via phone to a non client orientated person.if you go there enjoy it but keep in mind that it is just a business.to expensive for what it is. Honfleur is NOT easy to reach by feet..too dangerous.

Wifi is a bit poor and unreliable and it would be nice to be able to get a coffee or a tea in the afternoon but other than that it's a wonderful place...

Very Good B&B but.....
Reviewed By FyldeRoverUnsure whether to award 5 or 4 for our stay at Manoir de la Croix Sonnet. There were some minor issues that just took the edge of our stay. The continental breakfast was excellent and we particularly liked the orange juicer! Our room was clean, plenty large enough and the combined dressing room/bathroom was a good size too. The swimming pool was a nice bonus being well maintained as were the gardens and patio areas. Our host was friendly although we were handicapped by our lack of fluency in French. Easy drive into Trouville or Deauville for dinner where there are a wide range of restaurants. Now for the "buts" - well minor issues really. Access to the property is difficult, being straight off a roundabout and you are faced with electric doors - ok if you have the key fob but not so good on first arrival. Doorway narrow for larger vehicles so care needed. Bathroom and shower perhaps in need of an upgrade in not too distant future. We had to leave early (8am) to catch our ferry and no breakfast was available so we made do with tea and coffee making facility in our room.
