Very nice

Lovely accommodation and breakfast left in room. The only thing i can say, and its not a complaint, is that the tv should be on the wall opposite the bed so you can watch the tv at night time while snuggled up in bed

High five to Jerry

Reviewed By TheMarriagebuddies

We had a lovely stay at Jacobs Creek Retreat. It's a romantic space with a beautiful garden. I have to make a shout out to Jerry - although contactless check in was offered we ran into him on the grounds and he explained the history of the space to us which was wonderful. Furthermore, we unfortunately had a little bad luck during our trip and dropped our cheese platter on the ground (smashing the plates and all) Jerry was so lovely, he came running to check up on us when he heard the smash, he was much more worried about us than the plates and he even gifted us a cheese as a replacement!!!! No major hotel would be providing above and beyond service like this. Thank you!

We stopped here for lunch and my husband had a steak but not a stone grilled and I had a beef schnitzel as I don't see them on offer very often. Both meals were good and well cooked, prices were good as was the service.

This gorgeous 1920’s home has rooms for 4 couples. We were in the smallest room as the other rooms were booked when we decided to stay here. Regardless it was a lovely experience. Nestled amongst vineyards and close to many wonderful wine, food and gin experiences we can highly recommend a stay here. Sophia and Leo are enthusiastic about the area and their love and knowledge of the local community enhanced the stay. Sophia cooks a lovely breakfast (included) and the home maintains a lovely old world feel. Sophia’s lovely insights to the area made for a memorable stay. We were very comfortable during our four night stay and would happily visit again and encourage others to do so.

We had 3 wonderful nights here recently. The Lodge is an historic house, set in lovely gardens in a very quiet rural/vineyard area with a beautiful large living area where the fire was always lit & crackling. The rooms are very comfortable with a great king size bed, & quality bedding & bathroom products. Add to this, the warm, gracious & professional hospitality by our hosts, Colin & Phil. We felt so welcome, comfortable & private here. Thank you both

This is our third stay here, and we'll keep coming back. The suites are spacious and comfortable and have everything you could need. The surrounds are charming and though the buildings are old, the renovations are modern but at the same time keeping with the character. The breakfast provisions are by far the best I have come across! Bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans and spaghetti, a full loaf of bread, several toast spreads, a variety of cereals, orange juice and even bikkies and chocolate bars for later.

Best hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Reviewed By Adsinoz

Thought long and hard before saying this……. this is the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. From the staff, the service, the property, the restaurant and bar. Their attention to detail, quality and care is exceptional. Nathan met us at our car, showed us around our suite and made us feel immediately at home. Kyle and the team at Appellation (the fine dining restaurant) could do no wrong and the degustation experience next level (with epic wine parings from the local vineyards). And the tiny details - like staff ducking in and laying out a calming sleep time tea in a pot (and ensuring the kettle was full) before we retired for the night in front of our private fireplace did not go un-noticed.
