'Logement Our' chambres & gîtes is a 15 minute drive from Narbonne. This chambre d 'hôte is a beautifully renovated maisson de maitre, located in the idyllic village of Raissac d' Aude and surrounded by vineyards of Corbières. The spacious rooms are stylishly decorated and each room has an ensuite bathroom with rain shower. The apartment in the house also has a kitchen and a living room with a comfortable double sofa bed. This makes it suitable for 4 guests. The 100 m2 gite has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room and kitchen. Enjoy a delicious breakfast, one of the table d hôte evenings and the garden with swimming pool while enjoying a good glass of regional wine on our terrace.

Reviewed By idavh91Ed and Fred are the nicest hosts. They are fluent in French, German, English and Dutch. We arrived past midnight due to a long delay, and they assured us that it was no trouble at all and they were both awake to greet us upon arrival. The communication was swift and effortless through email. The breakfast was splendid with lots of options; homemade smoothies, jam and pastries, but also whole grain bread and cheese. The house was beautiful and our room was spacious and decorated in rural style, but modernised with modern ventilation/heating and electric installations. The bed was the best we had tried in France. Parking was behind the property, no issues. We wished we had booked a few night more and would recommend this place to friends and family.

The place is lovely and so beautiful, from the time you park your car at the front and walk in through the door - you are at home. Situated in a quiet village just outside Carcasonne, ideal for visiting the city, you will want to stay longer or wish you had! Patricia & her husband are the ideal hosts and English speaking, nothing is ever to much. So much knowledge of the area. We will be back, that's for sure - Thank you.

Domaine De Marseillens is located 2 minutes from the medieval city of Carcassonne and next to Lac de la Cavayère. Good but you need to walk up a lot of stairs
Reviewed By LMC_CanadaGreat location on a quite side street. On arrival we buzzed and the owner came right away. We were just off a barge in the south of France so we had two large suitcases with handbags. We dragged our bags through the narrow door and looked. up a narrow staircase. Our hostess pointed upwards and I carried the first suitcase up to the first landing. I went back and grabbed the second bag. The first floor had the lobby desk. We checked in and our hostess said our room was on the third floor. I let out a great sigh and took the first suitcase up a narrow winding staircase, hit the second landing and pushed onward like a seaoned traveller to the third floor. The room was large and nice looking out on the beautiful Cathedral. I asked our hostess if I could leave the second bag on the first floor. There was no way I was lugging it up two flights of winding stairs. In the morning there was fresh rolls, and our fridge was stocked with juice, cheese, water and yogurt. I would give this B&B a qualified recommendation, for those who can walk up a lot of stairs and travels light. There is no help from staff or travel assistance as the owner only spoke limited English. The hostess did not offer to get anyone to help with the luggage. When we left the next morning I had to take the luggage back down, quite a challenge and we left. The owner was no where to be found. You get a code to exit and enter the front door.

Reviewed By Vickie MWe are here after a day at the beach, starting with a relaxing aperitif on the terrace and a 3 course dinner. The prices are reasonable given the choice on the menu and location couldn’t be better. I didn’t want my beach day to end so was happy to gaze at the sea with the setting sun all evening! We will be back!

As always, Jan and Cynthia provided a wonderful experience. Breakfast was magnificent and it was great to feel such a positive energy around the hotel. A peaceful place to ease the mind. Can't wait to be back.

The garden will also refresh you and bring you calm, in the summer we will serve you breakfast in our garden. You can park for free in front of the property and store your bikes in our secure garage.
Wonderful base for exploring a beautiful area
Reviewed By Tikersmike89My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights over the Easter period and nothing disappointed .Our hosts were incredibly kind and helpful and we felt like we were sharing their home rather than ‘staying in a b&b’. The location is ideal for exploring Carcassonne and as we had a hire car there was plenty of free street parking in the vicinity. Breakfast was lovely and the garden was a peaceful sun trap which we used fairly regularly to unwind. Everything was clean and comfortable and if visiting again would most definitely stay here without hesitation. Thank you Arny and Amandine.

We tried to call before leaving to check if we needed to bring anything with but no answer. We arrived at 11am - no picnic and they know nothing about it. We waited with our two children for nearly 20 min having the very unfriendly manager tell us just wait while he tries to exchange with someone else. Eventually we just left. Waste of time and terrible experience.

We offer 2 large and deluxe B&B rooms with a private pool in a quiet residential area the South of Carcassonne, overlooking the Pyrenees and the golf course of Carcassonne. Our house is only 5 minutes by car and 30 minutes by foot from the famous castle "La Cite"and the Canal du Midi. Both rooms have a a private terrace with furniture, complimentary WiFi, Colour TV and French and Int.satellite channels, Coffee and Tea making facilities, bottled water, refrigerator, books and bathrobes. The Suite is accessible and offers a King size bed, the living room has our sofa bed for one more adult or 2 children (additional charges apply) and offers a raised toilet and wet room. The Deluxe room has a shower and jacuzzi bath. A Full Breakfast is served on the terrace overlooking the private pool, Pyrenees and golf course, weather permitting. There is a local bus service to the castle "La Cite" and Carcassonne. Our house is situated 10 minutes from the Carcassonne airport by taxi.

Excellent location: in the outskirts of the city, but very close to La Cité (5-minute drive) and well connected to all roads and highways. Very good balance between privacy and personal contact. The guests can steer it according to their taste, mood or need. If you intend to spend most of the time there, the room has no views, but the terrace with the swimming pool (25 degrees) indeed has. In any case, that is not what we came here for. Very remarkable landlord and landlady, BJ and Iris: attentive, professional, caring. They can provide a lot of information about touristic sites, routes and restaurants. Self-made jams.
