Western Australia (abbreviated as WA) is a state occupying the entire western third of Australia. It is bounded by the Indian Ocean to the north and west, the Great Australian Bight and Southern Ocean to the south, the Northern Territory to the north-east and South Australia to the south-east. Western Australia is Australia's largest state, with a total land area of 2,529,875 square kilometres (976,790 sq mi), and the second-largest country subdivision in the world, surpassed only by Russia's Sakha Republic. The state has about 2.6 million inhabitants – around 11% of the national total – with 92% living in the south-west corner, mostly in the Perth area, leaving the remainder of the state sparsely populated.

What an immaculately maintained park! You are greeted by a beautiful avenue of majestic trees, a fantastic view of the Central Business District and the large stretch of water to the east and south. There are many walkways and if you stray away from the well trodden paths and go west, you can stroll in a quieter atmosphere and walk many small paths without seeing anyone. There are also quantities of birds in the park, but beware, one of the tried to steal my Sandwich as I was eating it!
The park is a credit to the city of Perth and to the civic responsibility of its citizens.

The trail to the beach is an easy hike over boulders. There are vegetation and wild flowers along the path, some wild kangaroos can be spotted occasionally. Pending on the season during your visit, beach could very windy and chilly, not many visitors; however, the beach is quite beautiful and pristine.

Thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to the National Anzac Centre. The guides are knowledgeable and very helpful, the main museum is stunning and the Gardens and restored buildings/displays are very interesting and well presented. They also have a lovely cafe with yummy food and drinks and gorgeous views over Albany.

This beach area is one of the most beautiful scenic Beaches ive been to.Ive travelled to many Beaches around the world and this rates top. In its natural state with lagoon like rock pool areas and crystal clean waters and scenic large smooth huge boulders.
Its absolutely incredible. A visit here is a must if visiting the town of Denmark.

Despite the rough road in, this place is awesome. The scenery is out of this world, the walks are great and well worth the effort. Take your time and enjoy the scenery - if you can let someone else do the driving (ruin their vehicle rather than yours :)), sit back, relax and enjoy what the Kimberley has to offer.
Hike into Cathedral Gorge, check out the Picaninny Creek lookout, then head up to Echidna Creek for even more excitement with the walk over boulders. And don't forget the Dome walk too. All well worth it.. This is our second trip into the NP and we would come back for more...

My first cave along the tourist route 250, so I haven't got anything to compare it to, all I can say is I was indifferent to going to a cave but I am so glad I did, I was absolutely blown away. It is all guided. There is no wandering off on your own. You go down a path and through a door and all I could hear myself saying was 'oh wow'. You will be shown a skeletal possum and also when the lights get turned off it is very very eery. Amazing that it has only recently been found (1970s I think). Be warned there are a lot of steps and it is a shame they don't offer 2 types of tickets. 1 for those that just want to go in and the first landing and a second ticket for those people who want to go further into the caves (which involves a lot more steps).

This is a good climb lots of steps of uneven hieght and took us two hours going up. When you do get there expect some great views. Should only be attempted when conditions are good. Too hot, wet or windy would make it Very difficult.
Great sense of achievement when you get down. Take plenty of water and time.
