We were introduced to this lovely Arboretum by friends who called to tell us they wished to take us on a Promenade and what a Promenade it was! We saw beautiful trees of all kinds along with azealias aplenty. We sat by a pond and enjoyed the peacefulness there. If you have a chance to visit this Arboretum do it and you might even gain entry to the Maison found there!

Cinema Le Select

Le Select has a good movie selection, foreign movies are in original language with French subtitles (but check, some afternoon shows of block busters are sometimes dubbed in French). The four theater halls are brand new, stylish, very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Parc de Sceaux

Reviewed By aruenka - Fontainebleau, France

It is a must-see during spring - especially now (mid-April), when there are blossoming trees! Park is quite big, the blossoming trees are on the right side of the park, looking from the Sceaux entrance (where the chateaux is). There are actually two parts of blossoming trees Gardens - first "square" (before the center of the canals) are the famous pink ones, and the next "square" (after the center of the canals) are beautiful white ones. Be aware of the crowds - there are plenty of people hanging out in those two particular areas. There is also park of sports, with lots of green area (and several pink and white blossoming trees as well). Pets are welcome in the park, and there is even the dog-park part. During other seasons, park is nice for walking or picnicking, but not that much interesting.

This is the town's biggest area of green space, covering 40 hectares. Lots of events take place in and around the park, including the Massy International Circus Festival and the traditional firework display and Concerts that are part of the town's June festival programme.

It's an incredible place, seeing the tide coming up so quickly it's mesmerising. The only negative point we found is this one: we wanted to wait for the 20: p.m. tide, after having visited the abbey. We wanted to just sit in a cafe to have a beer or something like that, watching the tide coming up. Nothing, at 6 p.m. every bar or restaurant (but one, internal) was closed. Not a very marketing-clever idea, but maybe there was something going on we didnt' know about.

Playmobil FunPark

Welcome to the PLAYMOBIL FunPark, the outstanding playground with the loved PLAYMOBIL toys, situated only ten minutes outside Paris. The FunPark supports the activity of youngsters and young adults. It offers 12 play areas adding up to a size of 2000 square meters including a separated area for 18-36 months kids and a cafeteria where parents and grandparents can watch their children play. You will also find a restaurant and our PLAYMOBIL Shop with lots of PLAYMOBIL.

Reviewed By Celesa H - Pincher Creek, Canada

If you come here expecting the same kind of outdoor play park as at the Playmobil FunPark in Zirndorf, Germany, you will be disappointed. This FunPark offers only indoor play with various Playmobil sets. There are no climbing, sliding, or parkour areas. There is a small café/restaurant with reasonably priced (for Paris) food, and a few tables in a fenced in space outdoors. There is a "repair" shop that will locate key missing pieces from the play sets on the floor, which helps to avoid kids' frustration. Likely a good option on a rainy day or when your kid(s) are tired of the museums. Difficult to get to if you don't have a car, though.

Peggy was extremely knowledgeable. The first two champagne houses were entertaining and personal. The restaurant for lunch was excellent. Our tour of the region was fun and informative. The least enjoyable part was Moet and Chandon which could have been any of the really large wineries in Australia, but Peggy can't help that.
