Gepflegtes Interessantes Ambiente und asiatisch dominierte Esskultur. Hervorzuheben die Freundlichkeit des Service trotz des großen Andranges. Sehr ausgewogenes Speisenangebot. Die Weinkarte könnte etwas reichhaltiger sein. Alle Speisen sehr individuell und von ausgezeichneter Qualität. Die Nachspeise überrascht....

IMHO, eventhough they dont have the cheapest cuisine a Jap. Resto could offer, but Hiro Sakao is the best Japanese Restaurant in Erlangen-Fürth-Nuremberg Area.
I wasnt only for Lunch but also for Dinner in all 4 Seasons we have in Germany and they never let me down! I love teir Terrace as well.
Apart of my classic order Sushi n Sashimi my fave Dis: Ebi Tempura, Chicken Yakiudon for Dessert I love their tasty Coco or Bana-nogu! :D
Dont hesitate to try Jap. Beers out and their yummy cocktails either.

The La Palma in Fuerth is easily one of the best Italian restaurants in Fuerth or Nuremberg. Very authentic Italian cuisine, with matching wines and desserts. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and the quality of the food is outstanding.
It's not easy to find it, and the exterior doesn't hint at the nice interior and superb food you can expect, so don't let that distract you. It's best to make a reservation, because the La Palma is far from being unknown or unpopular.
The prices are as expected for a high class restaurant, but the food really is worth it.

We visit Penelope's Greek restaurant every time we stay in Furth for the Nurnberg Toy Fair. The food is excellent quality, the staff are good and the menu has English translation available. The haloumi starter was large and very tasty

Sehr großes Angebot an Pizzas (12 Grundtypen) + jeweils 3 Beilagen extra kostenlos. Bei Mix It stellt mann sich seine Pizza selbst zusammen. Mann wählt eine Basispizza die alleine schon ausreichend belegt ist und kann dann noch bis zu 3 extra Beilagen dazubestellen. Beispiel: Basispizza Nr. 6 (Würzige Bauernpizza) ist standardmäßig belegt mit Käse, Tomatensauce, Paprika, Zwiebeln, Tomatenscheiben und Bauernsalami. Für meine Lieblingspizza wähle ich dazu: Knoblauch, frische Kräuter und Champignons.
Die Pizzas schmecken sehr gut, der Boden ist fest und nicht durchgeweicht. Die Zutaten sind durchwegs frisch und keine Glas- oder Dosenware. Die Wartezeiten sind gering, auch wenn viel Betrieb ist.
Zum Ambiente ist schlicht gehalten und eben eine typische "Wartehalle". Es gibt zwar einige Bistrotische, gemütlich eine Pizza dort zu essen ist aber nicht mein Ding. Zum Mitnehmen aber 1a, den auch angebotenen Lieferservice habe ich noch nicht ausprobiert.

The previous reviews are mixed, some seem to be about the main restaurant, whilst I understand the Biergarten to be the outside Biergarten that opens at 6pm, so will review that here.
We ate here as we didn't realise that the main restaurant shut so early (the park is open till 7pm) and missed eating there.
For adults, the roast pig on the spit is great, the meal sizes reasonable and it is nice sitting outside. The kids' meal is Kloss in sauce (no alternative), which my kids hated (I had thought they might like it), so we got some Nurnburger sausages instead.
The staff were friendly and service prompt. A bit confusing to figure out where to take the crockery back to get the 2 EUR deposit per plate or glass back but we figured it out!

What a shame that a lovely location and good food was spoilt by the rudeness of the staff over their 'free day'. We were happy to accept this anomaly (surely there should be a discount here?) but were upset by the attitude of a staff member and how abusive they were to us as we looked to spend time in the hotel we had paid to stay in.
We were even more surprised that when we looked to complain about this treatment, that the management felt it entirely acceptable! We have no issue with the 'ruhetag' but we do take exception to being referred to as 'you people' and told to go and find somewhere else to spend time in!
We'll leave this place in future...

My family came across this place by chance, as two other restaurants we had previewed were closed. I am glad they were. This little gem sits on a nice little square. There is a small canal next to it with little playboats which my girls amused themselves with while we waited for our food. From the time we walked up until our food arrived was maybe 20 minutes. The staff speaks English well and were very courteous to us. We ate outside in a very nice covered patio. There are a lot of tables outsides and bright, lively flowers all around. We ordered bread and tzatziki for an appetizer. The tzatziki was fresh and delicious. The bread was a salty, soft focaccia. It paired excellently with the sauce. I ordered a mix of doner meat and calamari. The meat was perfect; crispy edges, moist insides, and not greasy. The calamari was lightly fried to perfection. My children ordered the kinder giros which contained a lot of food. They were especially excited about the little metal buckets the pommes frites came in. The price was fair and I consider this a great value. This was a great place and a delicious end to a long, fun day.
