Horror vacation
Reviewed By X3702HXbeatricedWas there 2 days with my family …got home today , actually we payed for 7 days but after what happened we had to run away ! Terrible place ! Starting with no parking , only if you pay a lot of money and even so your car is not that safe . The reception people and everyone very rude and unpleasant. Dirt everywhere, from the entrance of the hotel , to the elevator , and the rooms …no words !!! Dirt everywhere, disgusting. About the food , the same food for 2 days , we got sick , they served old food , we started to vomit all 6 of us and many other people in the hotel , especially kids . When I went to tell them that we leave they didn’t even say anything, jus said goodbye . I don’t recommend this hotel to anybody !!! Worst 2 days of our lives ! I’m still in shock , still recovering !

The building is an old house of Varna dated in 1930, which was restored completely. The hotel is located in the downtown of Varna, directly on the seashore, near to the rail station, opera and maritime garden. In the summer the guests can enjoy the breakfast on the terrace with sea view.

Reviewed By AchilinaSNice place. The hotel it’s clean and has a great location, just across the street from the beach. Room was ok, bathroom was also ok-ish. One big minus: noise. The beach clubs are near the hotel so don’t expect a silent stay. Parking was a bit of a downside. Breakfast was fine (10 leva/person/day).

Reviewed By MARIJANO MWe spent 7 days and we were not satisfied with this hotel. The staff were very rude, every time when we needed some information they were so uncooperative and they spoke minimal english. Room was clean but they changed tovels every fourth day so this was not acceptable for us. Also, they were very cheap on toilet paper and soaps. Food was edible, nothing special, to much spices. We wanted to use gym but they said we have to pay and then we gave up on a gym cause we thougth we are already your customers and why would we need to pay even more!!?? The same was with the safe. So, we would not reccomend this hotel, you can do better, and closer to the Golden Sands cause this hotel is 2.5 km away from the main centar.

Reviewed By whiterivertThe location is awful. The servise is awful. In pool you are allowed to swim only from 9 to 6 p.m. The owner is very rude. Towels change once in four days. You are allowed to eat only in the inside of the room. No service no comfort.

Worst place to stay ever
Reviewed By 564sandurThey are selling tiny houses which looks very nice online but in reality they are made out of literally cardboard. The shower is not a shower is just a pipe coming out from the wall. You can hear anything that is happening outside the house. The houses are placed in a pretty nice garden with a pool but in the same garden a residence for old people(with medical assistance) is placed. The worst part is that there are RATS IN THE WALLS that are scratching the cardboard. We noticed lately in the night and the host basically throws us out at 00:00 in the night saying that he has no other options for us and bye bye. NEVER book from them !

Reviewed By Seaside657453Our family, 2 adults and child, spent a relaxing 7 nights vacation here at Continental Hotel. The hotel was recently updated and everything looks new. The room was large, very confortable, spotless clean, having new furniture and wonderful sea view. Wi-fi is free of charge. We highly appreciated the swimming pool with salty water and the spacious terrace. The food was diverse, fresh and tasty and the personnel was very friendly and helpful, always at turists' disposal. Being our first vacation in Golden Sands, it was pleasant and relaxing stay and exceed our expectations. Many thanks to all staff members for the pleasant vacation and for the wonderful surprise on the evening of our 25th wedding anniversary! We will come back for sure! We highly recommend!

Lousy service
Reviewed By Frank CWe are here for 4 nights, and have one of the really nice big apartments at the end of the Pomorski complex/Hotel overlooking some small shops, a big parking lot and beyond that the beautiful black sea. The aparment is very nice with a well working fridge and a good bed. However our room were not cleaned after our first night. We complained about late afternoonthe day after. Being a sunday the girl at the reception, said it could be some time before it could be done. So we agreed to have some toilet paper and that the room should be cleaned the day after. Being back at the hotel at 13.00 hours the after we kindly asked when we could have the room cleaned again, the answer was within 2 hours. At 17.00 hours nothing had happened and we the same answer thar the room woould be cleaned within 2 hours. However back in the at 19.00 still nothing had happened. At 20.00 hours we are finally having our room cleaned with fresh towels and toiletpapir, after 4 complaints. This is not good enough and even though we enjoy staying here, I dont think we will stay here again. This might only be 3 star hotel but having one of their big and more expensive rooms we expected better.
