A different kind of "hotel"
Reviewed By StefanonHolidaysWhat a weird experience. From the outside the hotel looks normal, but only when you enter your room you realize how much of a hospital this is. My room really looked like it was operated in yesterday. Don´t get me wrong, it was clean, it was large, but you must like the experience. If you are the kind of guy who would like to spend a night in an abandoned hospital without the mold, this is your place. If you have a phobia about hospitals, you might want to choose a different place to stay. I loved it!! (Shared) bathroom is very large and spacious, that also comes from the past of the place since handicapped people must be able to use the shower. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Reviewed By Laura ANous avions réservé pour 11 personnes avec le dîner. Le séjour s'est très bien passé ! Les chambres propres et spacieuses. Le salon est un lieu chaleureux où il fait bon de s'y retrouver tous ensemble (autour d'une table de billard et d'une cheminée !). Rien à redire sur le dîner qui était très bon également. Xavier et Susan sont très accueillants et serviables ! Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit !

Reviewed By anisaz1969No puedo opinar sobre el alojamiento en si, porque no me he llegado a alojar en el, pero si quiero dejar esta reseña sobre el propietario. He tenido que cancelar una reserva que tenía para el próximo fin de semana, por circunstancias personales. La política de cancelación del establecimiento es cancelación gratuita hasta 1 semana antes. He apurado hasta el final por si mis circunstancias se aclaraban, pero ante la falta de certeza de poder realizar el viaje decidí cancelar, si no perdía 300€ . Creo que estoy en mi completo derecho a hacer esto, pero el propietario del alojamiento se ha dedicado a contactar conmigo para atacarme, juzgarme y hacerme toda clase de reproches. Ofrece flexibilidad pero se enfada si el cliente se acoge a ella. Yo no tengo por qué aguantar que una persona que no me conoce de nada , y a pesar de explicarle con toda mi educación el motivo de la cancelación, se dedique a cuestionar mi forma de actuar y a poner en entredicho mi honestidad , o a catalogarme como el " tipo de clientela que le irrita" . Me parece surrealista e inadmisible este tipo de ataque hacia mi persona, simplemente por acogerme a una flexibilidad que el alojamiento da. Simplemente quería dejar constancia de esto y saber si esto le ha ocurrido a alguien más.

Reviewed By Jacqueline CQuiet, peaceful BnB within walking distance to St. Jean Pied de Port. Large room, great shower, tastefully decorated. Our gracious host was a gem of a man, drove us into town the first night. There is a stream nearby that is easily accessible, good for a dip on a hot day. And a wonderful place to relax and read. For breakfast we had juice, tea, coffee, baguette (maybe the best on our vacation), rich tasty butter, jams, and yogurt. The house is beautiful, our host explained its history. Highly recommend and hope to return.

Dreadful experience
Reviewed By Colin THad misfortune to stay here for one night in September.The owner opened the hotel at 7 pm to book guests in,then closed it again and disappeared.There was no bar or restaurant open.Access to rooms was by side entrance,completely open to anyone and without securuity.I smelt a rat when owner insisted on cash rather than credit card payment,despite website saying otherwise.Our room was small,smelly,and bedspread on bed was heavily stained smelt slightly damp.
