The hotel La Estrella del Mediterraneo is the ideal place if what you are looking for is to disconnect for a few days in contact with the sea and the Sun. The location, overlooking the Roc de Sant Gaieta, makes this hotel unique on the Costa Dorada, the Hotel has direct access to the beach. The rooms have total privacy and own bathrooms. The Hotel La Estrella del Mediterraneo has all the facilities for an unforgettable experience, each double room has its own bathroom. The hotel is built in 1945 and the last renovation has taken place in 2015. Everyone who comes to the Hotel La Estrella del Mediterraneo has access to the indoor pool with its well-kept garden, the existing solarium on the deck and an indoor terrace. The user also has access to the living room and the kitchen. The hotel has an interior access to reach the beach which is 300 meters away.

Easy and very pretty walk along boardwalk below hotel to longer beach - equally small pretty beach just below hotel. Hospitality second to none - nothing too much trouble - note however steep steps down to beach (and back up again) - definitely recommend.

Reviewed By josephgK4951WAStayed here from 10th May to 17th hotel a bit dated had a good time EXCEPT we were charged 100 euro when we arrived which we paid by card and informed this would be returned when we left The guy on reception processed our card as we were checking out but the 100 euro was never returned to our bank.Tried ringing and e- mailing but getting no response.Feel this is a rip off.

Poorly Managed Hotel - BEWARE
Reviewed By PicsueOn Mar 20th, we arrived in Barcelona, picked up our rental car, and started driving to Tarragona. We booked the hotel through Expedia at 1700hrs for that evening. We arrived at 1800hrs at the Port Plaza Apartments and the gate was locked. We called all of the contact numbers and emailed - no response. We received the email to complete the online checkin process at 18:27 which was done immediately. No access code for the hotel and apartment was received. We called all of the phone numbers provided and used the chat function but no response. At 20:34 we finally gave up and found another hotel. At 22:39 they sent the access codes however we were already asleep at another hotel. I replied the next day in the chat requested a refund and was advised that no charges had been applied for the night. Upon returning home, I confirmed with my credit card company that the full amount was charged 186,85EUR and there has been no credit. They even charged me the 100EUR damage deposit. There was nothing on their listing to indicate that evening hours arrival would be a problem and even though they indicate 24hrs service, this is far from the truth. Absolutely No Customer Service!

Reviewed By AlbertSalichsBon Lloc is a hotel located in the surroundings of Ulldecona, a little city in Tarragona Province, in the South of Catalonia close to the border with País Valencià, which is located only few kilometers far from the town. In fact, Bon Lloc is literally "Good Place" in English. (and, yes, it is a good place ;-)). It is in a roundabout in the entrance of the town, and it has a little swimming-pool, where you can bath all day. Very nice. The room has all we need to stay one day or all weekend, and the rate quality/price is very good. The room size is OK, and it has a table to work and a big bathroom. Also, it is possible breakfast, lunch or dinner in the restaurant of the hotel. We came here to breakfast, and it was good. In fact, we came here sometimes, when we decided to return to the South of Catalonia. (see also Les Moles)

The rooms are modern and comfortable and best of all winetasting is included! Clos Figueras is a very small estate, but making some excellent wines in the Priorat region. Miguel gave us a tour and a tasting session of their wines. Seldom did I encounter someone more passionate about his wines! From the Clos to his own barrel of vino rancio!

Reviewed By Jordi rCasa rural muy cerca de la plaza Mayor de Prades y aun asi la zona es tranquila. La habitación limpia ,cómoda y agradable. No es recomendable para personas de movilidad reducida. Tiene una terraza muy apetecible para sentarse, mientras tomas algo, disfrutar del silencio y del maravilloso cielo estrellado de Prades. La dueña de la casa muy atenta y ya te deja instrucciones muy claras para no tener que quedar con ella y condicionar la hora de llegada. Aún así siempre se puede contactar con ella para cualquier cosa. Buena opción para disfrutar de este encantador pueblo y sus alrededores.
