Absolutely lovely!
Reviewed By SoeradjRThis hotel was absolutely perfect: small enough to create an authentic Spanish atmosphere without losing any of the customer service. Both the owner and the other staff were lovely in all aspects. The check-in was very late (11 pm) but the owner was available to help and quickly to respond via WhatsApp. The breakfast was so amazing (and healthy). The jacuzzi on the terrace was also the best. Would definitely want to stay here again and recommend to anyone staying in Begur!

Outstanding hotel
Reviewed By DilipMirI have stayed at many hotels but this one is exceptional. It may be difficult to reach but well worth the effort. The rustic style is executed with impeccable taste & attention to detail. A one night stay-over is not sufficient-plan several days to really enjoy this hotel. The staff is well trained & courteous, a good restaurant to boot & a luxurious breakfast with all the trappings included in the price. Price/Quality: Excellent. A must do if you are in the area

Reviewed By sonic434343Fabulous hotel, modern but in a traditional style, with nice pool, easy parking and very convenient access to the local walking routes famous in this region. Rooms are spacious with good showers, no noise & safe storage. The bar area is lovely really lovely, friendly staff & easy to get around. The food is very good, lots of local dishes cooked in a perfect style. Wine list is very good, with a very reasonable Priorat . Highly recommended

Reviewed By Hanson LHotel offers you the bare necessities; a bed, window view, TV, and private bathroom. Plenty of parking, modern decor, and friendly staff. You'll need to drive to get anywhere besides Aldi. It's a 10 minute drive into town. Room is relatively quiet. You won't hear neighbouring rooms, but do expect to be able to hear hallway noise. Great value overall though!

Reviewed By 801clarafWe had a really nice weekend. The location is perfect, it is close to Figueras, to other nice villages and to the beach! At the same time, you feel you are out of the city. It's a very peacefull place. The breakfast was amazing! Mariona and Greg made our stay even better. They are very familiar, kind and helpful. We hope to come back soon! Thanks for everything :)

Worth visiting during summer
Reviewed By Dan-Mihai SI think the best time to visit this property is April-October.During outside season there are not many properties open, but Marakasa is a place where you will find the door open.However there are some small parts that needs to be improved: ->there is a very strong smell of Chlorine in the bathroom ->heating system doesn't work well so you'll need to start the AC which will make the air too dry Fortunately there are more good parts for this accommodation: ->the owners are really friendly and helpful ->the breakfast is great ->the sea is really close ->this seems like a hidden gem so nobody will bother you here

Good accomodation for a weekend
Reviewed By AlbertSalichsHostal Ondina is an accomodation located on road, near the tiny town called Begur, in Costa Brava, in Girona Region, in the North of Catalonia. The rate quality/price is good and It is an accomodation to stay a weekend, not more. In the room only there are beds and a wardrobe and it is small. The bathroom is a bit small, but it is ok. The breakfast is very good (the best of the place) and the staff is friendly. Just ok. Escape room horror story
Reviewed By Jan Peter dArriving in the cold and dark exactly in time, no receptionist present, ain gate entry code not working, room key vault not working, parking place not indicated and impossible to find, gate not opening, nobody prepared to guide us, impossible stone medieval ruin steps to rooms for older people, no dinner around possible, breakfast unclear, hours searching while exhausted, horror story. We felt very unwelcome, owners did simply not do their hospitality job!
