Budget Stay in St. Nazaire
Reviewed By halracheskyWe're presently visiting Brittany and I was stationed in the USArmy base here from 1962-64. This hotel, is conveniently located(200 yards) near a small shopping mall with a large supermarket. The apartment is tiny but clean. Limited storage. Personnel friendly and helpful. Off-street parking is 7 Euros a day, but worth the convenience.

Reviewed By Kentin DNous avions la chambre 27, très bonne vue sur le port, bien exposé et ensoleillé. La chambre était dans un état irréprochable, la baignoire balnéo superbe. Un petit séjour agréable et reposant. Le petit déjeuner copieux, produits frais et grande variété de produits, crêpes, confiture, pain, pain au chocolat, croissants, jus de fruits.. Personnel très agréable et accueillant. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

The bed and breakfast L'Abri Cotier is situated at less than 1km from the beach, 600m from the centre of the village of Moutiers en Retz next to small shops and 800m from the train station. The quiet village stands along the Atlantic ocean, close to Pornic and Nantes. Here, we can say it is between "the sea and the countryside. For your relaxation, there are two bedrooms on the first floor of the house, with a separate entrance: "Upupa" and "Nymphea". You will like their different athmosphere. The "Cactus" room is separated in a different part of the house and fits a family as well as persons with reduced mobility.

Reviewed By JgkeenWe spent two wonderful days and nights here, with the beautiful grounds bathed in nature with mature trees the sound of birds, and multiple places to sip a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the early evening sunshine. Inside the decor throughout pays homage to Corinne and Yves’ travels, and they certainly know how to make one feel welcome and comfortable yet with space to explore and enjoy solitude when desired. We felt so physically and mentally relaxed after enjoying the spa experience and massage with Gaelle. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you !

Reviewed By Philip PWe stayed here for one night on the way back to Cherbourg. Lovely welcome from Agnes the owner. Beautiful and clean room with loo, shower, and balcony. Secure off street parking -important when you have bikes on board. Just a short walk from the submarine pens and the french sub Espardon which we had come to visit. a short walk to many restaurants from Michelin to Bistro. Charming, quirky - excellent. A help yourself kitchen/dining room with very tasty french breads. Great breakfast. Recommended.

Reviewed By K225TFmartinecTrès beau domaine. Les gites permettent d'héberger plus de 50 personnes. J'ai organisé mon anniversaire pour mes 70 ans. Tout a été apprécié par mes invités : le site est magnifique. Pour la préparation nous sommes bien entourés par Laurent. Toutes les chambres avaient les lits faits, le linge de toilette était fourni. L'ensemble est propre, respectueux de la nature. Week-end mémorable pour tout le monde. Dommage de ne pouvoir profiter pleinement des extérieurs en cette saison.

Reviewed By LiliKahacheJ'ai séjourné au Château de St Thomas le temps d'un WE "surprise". Je ne savais absolument pas où j'allais, et j'ai été très étonnée de l'endroit au premier abord. Le château est imposant, dans son jus, et tout est d'époque. J'ai eu énormément de mal à le trouver car il y a peu d'indication, et la route était ce jour là barrée, ce qui n'arrange rien (l'orientation et moi ...). Arrivée à bon port, j'ai été reçue par le propriétaire d'une extrême gentillesse et douceur. La chambre est d'époque, déco, tapisserie etc ... Très lumineuse et les abords du château sont vraiment très très calmes. Literie très confortable, et ménage impeccable ... Hormis le fait qu'on entende beaucoup les voisins de chambre, tout est au top pour un WE très calme, déconnecté, agréable. Petit déjeuner parfait, tout y est (ah si !! je rajouterai un peu de café supplémentaire, une dosette n'est pas suffisante pour me réveiller, j'ai dû piquer celle de mon conjoint :-) ) En bref, c'est un endroit très étonnant, que l'on n'a pas envie de quitter, ou qui appelle à y revenir très vite.
