Reviewed By SoeradjRThis hotel was absolutely perfect: small enough to create an authentic Spanish atmosphere without losing any of the customer service. Both the owner and the other staff were lovely in all aspects. The check-in was very late (11 pm) but the owner was available to help and quickly to respond via WhatsApp. The breakfast was so amazing (and healthy). The jacuzzi on the terrace was also the best. Would definitely want to stay here again and recommend to anyone staying in Begur!

Reviewed By AlbertSalichsHostal Ondina is an accomodation located on road, near the tiny town called Begur, in Costa Brava, in Girona Region, in the North of Catalonia. The rate quality/price is good and It is an accomodation to stay a weekend, not more. In the room only there are beds and a wardrobe and it is small. The bathroom is a bit small, but it is ok. The breakfast is very good (the best of the place) and the staff is friendly. Just ok. Has a great restaurant completely renovated in 2010, of careful and known Mediterranean cooking with outdoor terrace. Private dining room for parties or family gatherings. Reviewed By Hanson LHotel offers you the bare necessities; a bed, window view, TV, and private bathroom. Plenty of parking, modern decor, and friendly staff. You'll need to drive to get anywhere besides Aldi. It's a 10 minute drive into town. Room is relatively quiet. You won't hear neighbouring rooms, but do expect to be able to hear hallway noise. Great value overall though!

Worth visiting during summer
Reviewed By Dan-Mihai SI think the best time to visit this property is April-October.During outside season there are not many properties open, but Marakasa is a place where you will find the door open.However there are some small parts that needs to be improved: ->there is a very strong smell of Chlorine in the bathroom ->heating system doesn't work well so you'll need to start the AC which will make the air too dry Fortunately there are more good parts for this accommodation: ->the owners are really friendly and helpful ->the breakfast is great ->the sea is really close ->this seems like a hidden gem so nobody will bother you here

Reviewed By Joanne CWe were placed here by Love Holidays as our origional choice was allegedly overbooked. What a let down, half board at the Grand Garbi sounded good, however we were poorly welcomed to a second rate room with wood chip on the walls. Greasy buffet food, and on Tues and Thur they allow a third party to hold a rave on the first floor, thumping music until gone midnight when your room is directly above it. I complained at reception to be told it would finish by 11pm, total lies on both occasions. I would not recommend the hotel or Love Holidays to anyone. I am not a snob by any means but Butlins at Skegness has more appeal than this.

Excellent Hotel
Reviewed By 911clivesI would like to thank all the Staff for a wonderful stay at their Hotel. Most impressive was how clean and tidy the Hotel was. Both rooms we had had great views, one over looking the pool and on looking out over the sea. Breakfast and evening meal was to a high standard. Each morning for breakfast the was a very good Buffet with Eggs Bacon baked beans as well as fruit and cereals. We are looking to returning in April 2022 when it reopens.

La localización del hotel es muy privilegiada por su zona e vistas donde el centro del pueblo de Begur se encuentra a unos escasos 10 minutos andando donde la playa mas cercana es la playa de Sa Rierala la cual se encuentra a 15 minutos con la disposición de caminos pintorescos por el medio de la naturaleza. Nuestras instalaciones principales y nuestro servicio principal son las habitaciones las cuales están equipadas con TV de pantalla plana, teléfono conectado con la recepción por si tienen algún tipo de duda; y mini-bar, así como un baño privado con ducha personal. Por lo que respecta al resto del hotel esta formado por dos bloques,el establecimiento alberga un salón compartido

There is much to commend this small hotel .... it's very individual decor... spotlessly clean.... well serviced rooms .... caring friendly staff .... nice breakfast .... great views .... pool and jacuzzi.... nice gardens. A little outside the main town but an uphill 15 min walk gets you to the heart of the town. For us not too onerous!... you could feel differently! Beautiful beaches nearby downhill from the hotel. Didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment. Many excellent eateries in the town. Parking a little tricky at first due to steepness of the drive, but got the hang of it quickly enough. A quiet and relaxing spot. Recommend it wholeheartedly.
