A Quiet, Relaxing & Amazing Place to stay

It is a great place to stay especially when you are with your kids and the while family. ?♀️ ACCOMMODATING & FRIENDLY STAFF Their staff has been so accommodating and friendly. From the time we arrived until we left. They let us stay even we arrived earlier than the check in time. They let us place our food in the Bar's freezer for free. Aside from that, they are very responsive in messenger whenever we have some queries. ?️ ROOM IS CLEAN AND A COMFORTABLE TO STAY We stayed in different rooms since there are 14 of us. And yet, all rooms are clean and enough to accommodate us all. There is a TV, a little balcony and a hot & cold shower. In our room, we have a mini ref too. ⛱️ TWO SWIMMING POOLS & A BEACH We all enjoyed a lot especially the kids because we were able to swim all we want. There are 2 swimming pools on each side. Plus the beach. You can use the pool from 8AM to 9PM. ? BAR FOR FOOD & DRINKS If you don't bring foods and won't like cooking, they have a bar where you can order from. And the rooms come with free breakfast too in the bar. We had our breakfast late so we had few options with the menu. ?️ AMAZING VIEW The view is amazing and relaxing. They have a Rooftop where you can stay until 9PM. ?️ACCESSIBLE AND EASY TO LOCATE The resort is just along the National road and very easy to locate. It is close to Gaisano Grand and Cuartel of Oslob. Overall, we had a great and fun stay at Ging Ging Hotel & Resort. It is very recommendable especially if you want some quiet and relaxing place. You can bring your own food and cook there for a fee.

Reviewed By 986rhondarThis place is a super quaint boutique hotel. The staff is amazing. Best hospitality I’ve ever had in a hotel. The location is great to swim with whale sharks, hike the waterfalls, go for a stroll around the mall and if you want some real Filipino food AC Palayok is a must The food at this hotel is also good and a nice variety.

Reviewed By Sarah CShout out and many thanks to the family who runs MWR pension house. Staying here was a treat and great experience. On previous reviews and their advertisement states the MWR is “a home away from home” and I couldn’t agree more. The family the runs the hotel is incredibly welcoming and accommodating. I came to Cebu with no plans and they helped me to schedule all my activities most of which I was take around by one of family members and shown points of interest, local activities/foods and recommended activities and itineraries for a fair price. Everything was very personalized. The view from my room was absolutely gorgeous as you can see from pics (I also included pics from some of the tours or points of interest I was shown/reccomended) and the location has great ocean views. They also have a nice gazebo and courtyard of which to relax or eat dinner with a view and the cutest little puppy love in the courtyard and is always up for pets and snuggles ?. There is a karaoke bar on campus with a fun and safe atmosphere. The family frequently invited me to sit down with them and eat when they served family breakfast, so I got to try some local fair along with my more western style breakfast, both of which were yummy. Thank you Mary and family for all of your kindness and hospitality.

Amazing staff and place

The staff is amazing, they organized for us many tours ( Tumalog Falls, whale shark, Kawasan falls ), and they have us many advises about what to visit nearby. I recommend this place to every backpackers. This only negative points was there noise by cocks early in the morning, but as a traveler you’ll certainly wake up early in the morning to enjoy Cebu.

Even with COVID Restrictions they will NOT REFUND my money.
Reviewed By paastahtroyDon't book anything at this hotel. They refuse to give refunds for bookings that were COVID restricted. We booked a stay for 3/16-18 but couldn't travel as COVID hit the Philippines only 2 days before this booking. They will not refund my money even though COVID restrictions wouldn't allow anyone to travel. This is clearly wrong. It sounds like the owner of this property has a pretty poor reputation for service.

Family family family....
Reviewed By ScalliwagTooAs others have said, the resort is faded and is in desperate need of refurb.... That takes money but is the easy side of running a resort... What is hard is good customer service, but the staff here make it look effortless. They are fantastic. We were looked after. Breakfast was fabulous. The pool is good for kids, the beach is not great but once you get over the stones/pebbles it is very pleasant. Working beach next door with local families and fishing folk. We came away relaxed and felt we had been staying with distant relatives who were hell bent on looking after us. Not for the smart set. Not for people who fuss about their environment. Excellent for a relaxing family break.

Nice but far from town
Reviewed By GezonOneNo WiFi in your room you have to cross over to the main house area. The double room is more a single room, ok it has a double bed but not enough space for two people, there is no cabinet to put your case on had to use table from balcony no wardrobe or hangers or hooks. Bed is fairly comfortable. TV has a movie channel. The pool is good. Host gave me coffee sachets and plenty of water and was very accommodating. There is a bakery not far easy walk but with basic stuff nothing too fancy. Oh and then there is Choobi Choobi Chinese owned restaurant just down the road where the waiters for my liking are just a bit too familiar and if you really want to embarrass a birthday person just let the waiters know who. Advised owner to put a better sign up from where the bus stops. I forgot to say to host they need stepping stones in pebbly area leading to pool but if you have flip flops it ok

They do offer lounging areas w/ windy beautiful beach front views. The Staff is courteous and try to be helpful despite the limitations they have

Inaccessible, beach front ?
Reviewed By 1946bill2015This "Hotel" is wonderfully placed next to the whale watching area. That is all that is positive. Its expensive compared to the other hotels in the area. There isn't any parking area no is there a walkway to the hotel. you have to make your way thru other peoples back yard to get to the hotel. There isn't even a sign telling you the general direction. We accessed the whale watching area by jumping the wall of the next door restaurant/coffee area. Don't waste your time..or money.
