The hirugano Highland is at an altitude of 900 meters, on the south side of Mt. Haku, Japan's famous mountain. It's convenient for sightseeing in Hida Takayama, Shirakawa-go and Gujo-Hachiman. Skiing, snowboarding , rafting , golf and tennis can also play outdoor sports. *Please come by car.

Reviewed By 2manyJessI was attracted by the woody Scandinavian look from hotel photos. And it was exactly how it when we arrived. We had the loft cottage and our kids (13 and 10) were overjoyed with the choice. The loft immediately became their sanctuary and they were totally at home with their own floor. It's a very comfortable space for our family of 4. There is a kitchenette which would have been really useful if we had stayed longer. It is very clean and self sufficient. Take note that the hotel is about 30-40mins drive away from Gujo Hachiman city center, so you would want to explore the city before you drive up to the hotel. Also note that if you will need to make a reservation for their dinner or BBQ at your cottage (this is not mentioned in their english website). However right outside the hotel, there are a few eateries (Italian and Chinese) and there is also a convenience store right round the corner so you will not be left with no dinner if you arrive late. But the Italian food we had was nothing to shout about, so please plan well before your arrival. If you relish a quiet vacation base away from the touristy traps (eg Takayama), you can easily use Gujo as a base to travel up to Shirakawago or to Takayama. There will be people who prefer the buzz at Takayama but we found Gujo absolutely peaceful and wished we had more time in this place

Reviewed By Taka-S-10猫と泊まれる貴重なコテージ。 白馬の名鉄別荘地の一番奥にあり、静かで居心地の良い環境です。 別荘自体はとても簡素で必要最低限。不満はありませんが、長期滞在はきついかも。 チェックイン時にわざわざ瑞穂のほうまで行かなきゃならないのが面倒。

4-star hotel with Mt.Fujisan view
Reviewed By bimbimlikhitI stayed one night at the hotel as part of the tour group plan. The hotel is big compare to typical Japanese hotel. The are two main buildings, I stayed at the new renovated wing. The room is spacious for two people and equipped with everything you need. The bed is very comfy. I was there in March which was still winter there. The room was too warm and we didn't know how to adjust the temperature. We ended up opened the window to get some fresh air. But it was freezing cold in the middle of the night. This might be one one drawback of my stay. Breakfast is good but the dinner buffet is average. During dinner the restaurant was filled with hotel guests and didn't have enough food. We have to wait for staff to filled in the buffet line. They offer onsen too but I didn't use it. Lake Motosu is close to the hotel, just only 5 mins walking distance.

About 1 hour walk from the Kappa Bridge. A quiet Wooden making Sanso in Myojin pond . Night 9:00 off for private power generation. Evening star is very beautiful. Bathing is a population hot spring. Please slowly bathing. By wake up early, it is fun to stroll the Myojin lake. Breakfast Please enjoy the good cuisine to the body. ● history ● 1902, and opened a three-storey merchant inn at Matsumoto station. In July 1953, to transfer it opened a Hidaya ryokan in Kamikochi. "mountain of Hidaya" - we started from Suhosuteru (Kokuminshukusha). 2013, celebrated "111 anniversary". July 2013, we celebrated the opening of "60th anniversary" in Kamikochi.

Reviewed By Bananagirl42082020 １０月紅葉狙いで宿泊 コロナ対策もちゃんとされていました。 地域クーポンも発行されて、ひだやの売店クッキーや食事時のビール代となり お得でした。 ただ２階のトイレは臭いがキツいので、トイレの度に１Ｆまで降りていった。 ご飯は美味しかったです。 あと、こんな山の中で大きな浴槽があるのは有り難いです。
