Reviewed By sai1004The room we occupy was excellent. Very clean and the staffs are very kind and helpful. Foods were very delicious. If I will go back to Taiwan I will still choose this hotel. The hotel is near MRT station and there are nearby convenience store and pharmacy.

Unique experience - even for a local!

I'm from Taiwan but as my parents now live in the countryside, we wanted a place to stay that was convenient and unique. This hotel (motel?) was definitely designed for adults for a "fun night", but I think they're really capturing the tourist market since each room is unique and fun. The whole drive-in thing was interesting to see, and the room was really nicely decorated. The rooms are huge. We took the one with the merry-go-round horses. The jacuzzi was large enough for 2, there was a steam room, plus they had all the amenities you might need after a wild night: skin care products, make up remover, disposable underwear, hairties, and condoms! The complimentary minibar was also very a nice touch. The bed was soft and comfortable, and while there was KTV, it was too late for us to use it. Some parts of the room needs updating, like the carpet was quite worn and a little dinghy, and I definitely avoided the two armchairs as they didn't look quite clean. The breakfast in the morning was great, a good choice of hot and cold food, both western and eastern. They reminded us of our check-out time which was appreciated. They also gave us an umbrella to borrow when we went out. All in all, my boyfriend and I had a great time. It's right next to Miramar and the MRT, and there's plenty of nice restaurants nearby. For us, we stayed here for the experience, so 1 night was plenty, and worth it. We stayed somewhere cheaper and more central the other nights.

Budget motel with HUGE room
Reviewed By Alan TDrove up in our taxi and was surprised that we had to present our passport at the security gate. Turns out that was the reception. Got the keys and the taxi driver then drove up the parking lot ramp, right to our room door. So wild. Huge room with tacky decorations. Jacuzzi and steam room included. Wi-Fi works well. His and Hers toiletry boxes in bathroom. I would say “Romantic” in reviews a euphemism. More like unique and quirky and good deal for being pretty central in Taipei. Just over 1100 ntd from airport by taxi.

Clean, affordable brand when traveling to Taipei

Just down the street was a decent hotel for me to crash in after the party. I wasn't expecting much, but when I retired for the evening, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's amenities. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and had amenities that I would expect in a hotel that was twice as expensive. I was able to soak in the tub while watching TV, and the bed was luxurious. The next morning, I had a nice in-room work space for my computer work. The staff was friendly and spoke some English. Breakfast was decent. The location was very convenient, of course.

Extremely Memorable & Unique Stay Experience
Reviewed By lifeofmrseanFirstly, even though this is not my first time staying at this hotel, however, this hotel never fail to amaze me with its uniquely decorated and themed rooms. I have always stayed in a different type of room with a different theme and I can feel the great deal of time and effort the staff members had put into decorating each themed room. Secondly, this hotel is located approximately 5 minutes away from Jiannan Road metro station which is on the Wenhu metro line and there is also a free shuttle bus service from this hotel to the famous and must visit Shilin night market. Lastly, the rooms are clean and spacious at this hotel and this hotel had even offered a free car ride to the Taoyuan international airport on our last day since we had stayed there for a consecutive period of 3 nights as part of an ongoing promotion, which is a thoughtful gesture considering that we were carrying lots of heavy luggages. This is definitely a hotel everyone visiting Taipei should consider =D

Reviewed By KR39401I booked this spot because I was visiting Taipei alone for four days and wanted a hostel that also afforded privacy. Inn Cube - Minquan’s space capsules were super cozy, with comfortable bedding and plenty of room for one person. The entire facility was clean, including the bathrooms. I especially appreciated the large lockers and the secure capsule locks. The WiFi was also excellent. The only minor complaint I had was the aircon within the capsule itself not working. Luckily, the main room is kept quite cold, so it was still a comfortable sleeping temperature within the capsule. The location of this hostel is hard to beat. It’s just steps away from a subway station and within walking distance of a wide variety of restaurants, shops, and cultural and arts attractions. I’m happy I stayed here.

Dirty and smelly room. Don't recommend it.
Reviewed By C5341NMadamlI don't write much reviews but i need to warn you. I've spend 2 weeks of quarantine here and i don't recommend it. Room was dirty and smelled bad. Carpet had a lot of stains, wallpaper was coming of the walls and window was leaking. There was a towel next to the window so the staff knew about the issue but noone bothered to fix it. Bathtub had some rusty parts (inside...) I decided to change my sheets and i found that bed topper had yellow stains - no need to explain what that was... When i moved the bed carpet had a different color-there was so much dust on it. I believe noone has ever cleaned under the bed - except dust there was tissues and pieces of Lego under the bed. I got offered another room after complaining. They said the window shade doesn't work and i needed to ask twice in order to get it fixed. My new roomed was bit cleaner but smelled of glue. I'll never go back to that hotel again.

PROS and CONS
Reviewed By jack MStayed a few nights after coming back to Taipei from a 5 days tour of Taiwan. PROS:Nice staff. Clean. Laundry facilities on site. Water, tea and dome crisps free in room. Location very good. Walking to many shops and to lively night market and district. CONS: The smallest room we have ever been in. No place to unpack our suitcases except on bed itself. A real pitiful closet of a room no way near the photos shown on the website (which enticed us in the first place). No closet. Website offers free breakfast but staff declined. Unable to drop toilet paper in toilet itself as "it doesn't flush well". Had to use trash can. Imagine the "odor". We would have left as soon as we saw the room but we had prepaid and didn't want the hassle. P.S. The definition of a "boutique" hotel is certainly not this.
