Reviewed By OlyaNedWe stayed at Tranquil for 3 nights and loved every moment of our stay. I picked this place because it is conveniently located, close to all the places we were planning to visit. It is 5 minutes drive to Maleny Botanic Garden and Bird World, 5 minutes to Maleny Dairy Farm, 20 minutes or so to Australia Zoo. Maleny is also very close by. The view from the room and from the restaurant was breathtaking, I could just sit and look at it forever. As for customer service - it was amazing! 10 out of 10, from the moment we checked in till the moment we left. Emma at reception was very friendly and courteous, nothing was too much trouble. Sally was amazing and down to earth. The restaurant was closed on the first night that we arrived so we were just going to have some noodles in our room and I came to reception to ask for some cutlery, and Sally offered us to sit at the table of the restaurant. She even prepared our noodles for us. It was so nice of her, I never had noodles with such fantastic views before! ) Room was very spacious with a little balcony. Overall I'm very happy with my stay, would definitely recommend. Perfect place to relax and unwind away from busy city life.

Reviewed By nicholasknightBooked on short notice and they were very helpfull to accomadate me. The motel is within a 5 min easy walk to the main street, The entertoinment centre is just across the road. It is clean, comfortable and very affodable and is run by friendly staff.

Comfortable and close to everything

The room was clean and comfortable and only a few minutes from the beach, brewery, cafe and fish & chip shop. Cold a/c on a hot day is perfect! Parking on site, all the amenities. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will definitely be back!

Reviewed By aussiechef71Cindy and Thierry, the owners, welcome you like guests in their own home. There are just 5 rooms in this tranquil motel set in beautiful gardens on the outskirts of Maleny. The rooms are absolutely spotless. My room had a very well equipped kitchenette, a queen and a single bed. Glass sliding doors opened onto a private deck area overlooking the gardens. There is a café on site serving delicious home made French baked goods as well as restaurant meals for breakfast and lunch. The rooms, food and service were all fantastic. I felt like I was staying with friends in a corner of Burgundy!

With an AAA Tourism rating of 3 1/2 stars, we are very proud of our 16 beautifully appointed refurbished units. We extend a warm friendly welcome, with a 5 star service and satisfaction in comfort and detail to all business people, holiday makers, wedding parties, Bowls, Golf, Tennis, Basketball folk, shop-a-holics and Eat-a-holics. We have it all, within walking distance. Through our back gate to a wonderful small beach on the river esplanade, which has a jetty (see picture). You can swim or fish or just sit on the bench, read, take in the beautiful views, pelicans, herons, cormorants, sandpipers and our own osprey eagles. We have a list of bird routes and sightings in the Maroochy Shire. Through our back gate to Post Office, Chemist, Hairdresser, News agency, Information Centre and a very large Woolworths. Restaurants, bars, bistros and takeaways, Maroochydore RSL, Swan Bowls Club and several Surf Clubs in the immediate area (free bus services) Home to the coast's biggest shopping venue: Sunshine Plaza.

Older motel offering great value for money in large rooms, very friendly owners / staff. Large amount of off street parking suitable for large vehicles. Only criticism is no clothes hanging space or shelves in bathroom for toiletries, but rooms do have a small kitchen area with microwave. Will and have booked a return visit.

Budget friendly with a great view

But if you are looking for a budget, clean, comfortable stay - with an AMAZING view (just street view it!) and excellent hospitality, your money will not go astray here. This was a great little spot to stay, we just needed somewhere safe and comfortable and we were more than happy. If anything I would just like to note for families that this is on a busy road and the doors do open onto an unfenced but lovely grassed area.

Ceiling down lights don’t work making room dark & dingy with only the warm low-light bed lamps to see by, & can't open curtains fully for natural light. Electrical wires sticking out of wall where a wall light used to be. Tissues or something stuffed in cornice gaps! NO working Wi-Fi !!! (And a rude note about this fact). No water pressure in shower (cold tap very seized up) Ceiling fan controls only work the fan on High or Off, so can’t really use it. Air Conditioner struggled somewhat. No ice tray $190/night Busy road Hard to collect dog droppings from LONG grass! Dirty curtains but if they wash them, they’ll fall apart. To top it off they change towels on days 3, 5, 7 etc & if you ask for an extra one its $2, plus there are no beach towels in the room for the pool !! If I had booked through an accomodation site I’d be asking for my money back. False advertising with no wi-fi. Didn’t bother bringing any of this to the owners attention due to reading other reviews where doing this has been a waste of time & clearly no changes or upgrades have been made since those complaints were made anyway. We wore the cancellation cost if $190 & went elsewhere. It won’t bother her though coz some other poor person has re booked these feral rooms so she continues to wrip people off.
