Don't Waste Your Time or Money

This hotel started out with very poor customer service. The Owner/Manager definitely lacked personality as he was quite rude from the start. I traveled all night into morning from the East Coast and needed to use the rest room. I was told my room was ready but that I had to pay $51 for early check in. Every hotel should be required to have a rest room in the lobby. At this point I had no choice. After settling in I took a shower and the tub was clogged so I had water coming up way past my ankles and it wouldn't go down. They came to fix it but left all the nasty black stuff in the tub and on the floor without cleaning it up. In addition, they do not clean the rooms and if you need towels you have to go to the front desk. At check out I asked if I could leave my car for a few minutes to get something to eat and he flatly said no. Check out means out. This was my first time and definitely will be the last time staying here.

Great little motel

Very helpful & friendly staff. Rooms were very clean, good size with nice showers. Our room was a little dark in the day & then the bright outside light made it too bright at night! But overall really nice base, we stayed 2 nights & packed a lot in. Used the laundry here too, which was v helpful halfway through our trip.

I stayed at the Pacific Inn, leaving yesterday. The room they gave me was remodeled and super clean. The bathtub was impressively modern. Crisp clean towels. They treated me very nicely, considering I checked in super late. Reasonable pricing. Great option to stay at Monterey next time for sure.

Great for a couple nights

Reviewed By girlwhotraveled

Stayed here for a couple of nights during a Big Sur road trip. Great central location, close to downtown and Trader Joe’s, Dennys and other stores are close by. Inside looks new and renovated, outside this place doesn’t look like much but was very comfortable and clean stay. Shower pressure was strong. Additional parking is under the building. Would recommend for an easy and comfortable stay.

Nice quiet location

A nice hotel nestled in a quiet residential location . Apparently a converted condo. If you like peaceful location this works.you just can't walk to a restaurant or anything else. There is no elevator also. I can deal with driving to dinner. Elevator another story. There was a charging station fo our EV. But all in all a very nice little hotel.

More expensive than the hotels around

Reviewed By Mars838

Cons: I do not understand is why it is more expensive than the hotels around. The construction is old, the walls are too thin, so you follow the conversations in the other rooms. Tiny parking, so you have to park on the street. Next block there is a better hotel, cheaper, with spacious rooms with a view and fireplace. Unfortunately it was full and I had to stay here. Pros: Location, walking distance from city center. Breakfast is as good as other similar hotels.

Stayed overnight in Monterey

Reviewed By 476fayew

The property is in a very good location if you plan to visit the Lovers Point and the 17-mile drive. The neighborhood is quite and Peaceful; the staff were welcoming, friendly, and went extra mile to make sure their guests had everything they needed. Prices are reasonable, and rooms are very clean. The only suggestion I would make is to book a king size room if you are traveling with your partner or one more person. We booked a queen size and we felt we could use a bit more space. But it worked out for an overnight stay, not big deal at all. Highly recommend this property if you are visiting the area!
