Reviewed By pinkcherry2uWe rented 2 rooms for us (a couple) and my parents for staying over the weekend. The bed mattress was comfy. Location wise this place is really good, close to Danube but careful to check if the bridges are in restoration, it’ll make it difficult to get from one side to the other of the city. The location is really close by to one of the stops for a hop-on / hop-off bus tour. There’s good Wi-Fi connection. We really liked the self-checkin and check-out with getting the key from a lockbox, and the videos and instructions sent on WhatsApp by the property where a big help. I would recommend using better quality bedsheets - the one we had was see-through and that isn’t really hygienic. Also, better cleaning of sheets in general would be recommended - there were stains on pillowcases. Maybe investing in professional vacuum cleaners would be great so that the stains on the carpet could be removed as well. The room we stayed in was smaller than expected in our preview photos, completely different actually than what was shown. The bathroom was small and we made it work but I doubt that people with bigger bodies would. All in all, it was a good stay but maybe it’ll be worth investing in higher quality furniture and linens that last longer in time.

Reviewed By StinaAndreaNot so easy to find, but luckily we did find this place. Came late in the evening & got greeted buy one of the most amazing human beings we've came across. Little bit expensive, but when you've droven for hours straight, rain is pouring down & traffic is crazy & you're having a hard time staying clear behind the steering wheel it doesn't matter if it cost little bit more. It was really worth it. Especially when you haven't booked anything in advanced or have a reservation. We really took a chance with getting any rooms. Really clean rooms, clean everywhere for that matter. Nice, big rooms with ac, tv, fridge etc. Breakfast is included in the price, great coffee from a proper espresso machine, the breakfast portions are generous. You don't leave the place hungry, that's for sure. But best of all was the service. The woman in the reception, don't know her name, but that woman is amazing. Her service level was sky high, always a smile on her lips, really kind & helpful. She was so warm & took such a good care of everyone. She's the one who made this over night stay so much better. A real gem, who deserves all the compliments there is. Only downside may be the bed mattress, little bit hard. But it's like that in eastern Europe. Beds don't have Scandinavian standard ;P . So basically not an issue if you already know that beds in eastern Europe is a mattress & nothing more. It's still a bed to sleep in wich is amazing after a whole day on the road & you have really clean & soft sheets. I can really recommend this place for a overnight stay when you're on the road.

Fabulous three days at Manor House Inn
Reviewed By WhereyouOur group of eight - four couples in their 50's - arrived at the Manor House Inn on Monday. We like to have fun and we are not shy about it. So after a short check in we literally took over the premises. We occupied the main villa four comfortable and tastefully furnished rooms. Every morning started the days with a bike ride followed by a plentiful breakfast. Then explored the surrounding area Csopak, Fured, Tihany. Great restaurants, museums, with beautiful view of Lake Balaton from everywhere. At the evening we listen to music in the spacious living room having a glass of wine or two, feeling home. Before we left we had a nice chat with the staff thanked them for making our stay in Manor House Inn memorable.

Finding out You need to go to Two Addresses to Stay !!
Reviewed By Maurice CThe Guesthouse had impressive write-up but the small print and the reality is far from description. You don't turn up to the Guesthouse - You are told by message days before to turn up to 'Office' right on the huge roundabout from the metro or tram. Thats a nightmare in itself - ' Where are you !' The Guesthouse is run by another guesthouse - nice staff but having to be then lead by foot (with your stuff) over 5 mins to the actual Capital Guesthouse - The rules about stealing individual items - never ever have seen list of every item and the Euro cost if its missing in any other lodging in Central Europe. Then they hit you with key deposit. Now the room - broken shower holder, door missing (so plastic curtain in its place) and broken tiles, Mattress was ho hum - pillows hopeless and no spare pillow (if one wants it), It seemed not a traveler place but short term worker accomodation, so noise throughout the night, doors banging etc. The place was clean, daily room service but really should not get the rating it gets. It has been our worst accomodation to date in Central Europe.

Ugyan a konyha hamarosan zárt, a borokat is elég gyorsan hozták,ami a végére egy nehezen feldolgozható, siettetett élménnyé tette a kóstolót. Az utolsó két tételt a desszerttel tovább lehetett volna húzni. A borok mind finomak voltak,ritka tételt is kóstoltunk. Közép árkategóriásak,jó csomag ajánlatokkal. A vacsora során a leves a só kedvelő ízlésünkhöz képest is túlsózott volt, a rántott malacpofa viszont tökéletesen puha,omlós. Az étteremhez panoráma terasz társul a Balatonra és szőlőre nyíló kilátással. A reggeli kivételesen ízletes volt minden elemében: házi kolbásszal,füstölt sonkával,vajjal,túró és tepertőkrémmel, különleges lekvárokkal (füge,cékla,narancs), nem beszélve a mennyei brownie-ról. Igazi terjülj-terülj asztalkám prémium minőségű ételekkel. A szállás egyszerű vintage berendezésű, minden szükséges felszereléssel. Az egyetlen fejlesztési javaslatunk sötétítő függöny vagy zsalugáter felszerelése lenne,mert a fehér függönyökön beszűrődő reggeli fény igen zavaró volt.

First and the last time...
Reviewed By ljubimciThere's absolutely nothing "premium" about this place, I don't know why it's in the name? Except the guy who checked us in who was very polite, great kebab in front of the entrance and the vicinity of many landmarks and city canter, everything else was terrible. The room had just enough space to fit the bed, which was literally on the floor, window curtains worn and walls so dirty it was really unpleasant to be in the room. Sound isolation is terrible, you can hear other guests at any time and door slamming is outrageous. It's cheap, but this place cries for renovation, at least well painting. Definitely not to be repeated. There're lot of places of the same price range that are at least clean. And have the TV. It was so hard to spend the night on the floor bed with no other sound than door slamming.

Közös nappali/konyha tér, mindennel felszerelt. Az udvaron grillezési lehetőség. A szállásadó abszolút segítőkész, barátságos. Borkóstolási lehetőség a saját borpincéjükben. Csak ajánlani tudom.
