Budget hotel a bit out of the town
Reviewed By feherp88Corner motel was renovated in 2016 but still a bit outdated in interior design. There are parking places around the hotel and it is located a bit out of the town. Rooms are a bit old fashioned. Breakfast is not so rich as in any other hotels.

Reviewed By DifferentGuyBooked it because of the proximity to the airport. About 15-20 minutes drive. Safe and free parking. Guy who worked night shift is professional and friendly. Whole place is clean. Coffee is good. Guess can be called value for money. Two ladies who work in the morning could do with more smiles. Breakfast is very basic. Eggs or sandwich. Pillows and beds can be of a higher quality.

Beautiful Tasty Food
Reviewed By LivingInHungaryWent here in August on the recommendation of Hungarians who stop over at this place when driving from Budapest back home to southern Hungary (i.e. to Kecskemét or Szeged). I had their Goulash (on recommendation) and was not disappointed. It tasted lovely. As did the homemade cherry sponge cake, which I struggled to finish after two bowls of goulash. I was expecting one piece of sponge cake, but got two. Hence why I said WOW when it arrived at my table. I could not believe it was a 'one portion' size; but it was. The cherry sauce (not jam) was excellent. Out of this world. The place was very clean, the waiter was very pleasant and overall the pricing was affordable.

Balassagyarmat in family-style restaurant combined with a pension. We invite all our visiting guests home-style cuisine, polite service and small rooms with a cozy. the beach is 150 m from the coast Ipoly 100 m away from our pension. Various recreational facilities (archery, fishing, hiking, museum visits, horse riding etc), and will offer guests.

Reviewed By 149attilafOnly 1 km walk from the center, which is useful after a good dinner :) Cosy, nice and clean room with brand new furnitures. Though a bit small, ideal for 1-2 night stay. Staff is polite. Definitely good price to value.

They tried to do their best and help us...at the end they let us sleep over for another night for free! Because all car services were closed. Rooms are equipped with bathroom with showers and they offer enough of storage space and they even have TV and fridge. You can communicate in Polish and English. For a motel... perfect?? Motel s nejlepší obsluhou na světě. Když nám při odjezdu vypovědělo auto službu, snažili se nám pomoct a nakonec nás nechali přespat další noc zadarmo, protože autoservisy byly zavřené. Pokoje mají vlastní koupelnu se sprchovým koutem. Pokoje nabízí dost odkládacích prostor a dokonce jsou vybaveny lednicí a televizí. Dorozumíte se anglicky i polsky. Na motel skvělý.

Payment problems, low quality and dirty.
Reviewed By philstephenrichardsSole purpose for staying here was to be near the station and this road side Motel was around 10 minutes walk away. Otherwise it really is a place for a one night stop passing through. It might be low cost, but fell far short in terms of quality. On arrival I was greeted by the guy on reception. Asked for payment which fortunately lower than what booking.com quoted me as no single use of a double/twin tariff was published. Then we hit a problem - no card reader was working. I asked if the one use for the bar/restaurant was working which he said yes, so was somewhat taken back that wasn't utilised. As I didn't have enough Hungarian currency or euro cash on me, I had to make a 30 minute walk to the nearest ATM to withdraw cash out. Came back, paid and settled up. The price was knocked down from around HUF 6400 to 6000. Corridor light switches hard at first to find especially at the top of the stairs. The room was furnished to a very basic standard, in poor condition and dirty. This included the bathroom which didn't even have a cup. Shower cubical leaked. Only one thin bath towel, no hand towel or foot mat. There was WiFi, however not very good. I had an evening meal which was good value and although basic quite welcoming after a long day including another 30 minute trip to the bank. And yes, I could pay for the meal by card.I left early in the morning so didn't take breakfast. Overall - I cannot recommend this location.

Dzisiejszy Gazda ma związki z Polską poprzez rodzinne co przełożyło się na udostępnienie noclegu którego w zasadzie nie było..Obłożenie innych ośrodków groziło koniecznością przemieszczenia się w inny rejon Węgier .Cena oferowanego pokoju była do zaakceptowania niemniej warunki nas nazbyt nie rozpieszczały.Pokój jak pokój..zwłaszcza gdy się jest po podróży położysz się i spisz.Niemniej nic szczególnego.Łazienki zbiorowe poza pokojem,podobnie toaleta. Śniadania zagwarantowane niemniej dodatkowo płatne,chyba że płacisz z ich uwzględnieniem,W ofercie tzw stół szwedzki jednak skromny-tez brak rewelacji.Jakościowo poprawny ale szału nie robi. Dobry obiekt dla zorganizowanych grup wycieczkowych.Jeśli o nas chodzi to będziemy za tym motelem tęsknić.Pozytyw to znośna odległość do kąpielisk termalnych.

Reviewed By Bakancsos_VilagjaroA hely negatívuma számomra, hogy a szobák nagyon picik. Illetve nincs lehetőség a vizes ruhák(fürdőruhák) szárítására, ezek nekünk néha vizesek maradtak. Ezeken kívül azonban csak pozitívumokat tudok elmondani: a motel nagyon tiszta, a szobák berendezésén még érződik az új bútorszag, a falak frissen vannak festve, az ágy kényelmes(!), a net erőssége is többnyire rendben van, a konyhában bárki számára elérhető a kávéfőző, sűtő, mikró stb. Reggelente péksüti és kávé várt minket. A tulajdonosokkal beszélgetve megtudtuk, hogy csak néhány hónapja nyitottak. Ez érződik is. Minden nagyon új és tiszta. A hely elhelyezkedése is jó. Sétatávolságra van Interspar, Coop, Penny. Néhány km-re vannak a város nevezetességei: Egri vár, Szépasszöny-völgy, Bazilika. 1-2 km-re található az Excalibur étterem, amit szintén ajánlok. A környék fürdői (Demjén, Saliris) kb. 10 km autóútra vannak. Összességében azoknak ajánlanám a helyet, akik nem szeretnének sok időt tölteni a szálláson, azonban olyan helyet keresnek, ami ,,mindenhez” közel van.

Reviewed By visitor675A motel előnye hogy a főút mellet helyezkedik el, viszont rosszul van kitáblázva, mert túl kell menni és visszafordulni egy szerviz útra a körforgalomnál. A szomszédságában van egy kalandpark és egy bazár vagy mi a szösz, ahol mindenféle dolgot árulnak, pl. létrát talicskát, bográcsot, cipőt, bútort és még ezer féle kacatot.A szobák átlagosak, egyszerű, mindenféle extrát nélkülöző berendezési tárgyak, ősrégi tévével.. Előnye hogy nagy parkolója van a kerítésen belül.A hátsó hatalmas parkosított rész szépen karbantartott, látszik hogy szoktak vendégeket fogadni. Eskövőket, rendezvényeket is lehet itt tartani mert hatalmas a szabadban a terület.
