Huge spaces everywhere and although it is a bit far from Budapest for the Spa department it is definitely worth coming. The sauna sessions are fantastic, the sauna masters (especially János) do their craft on a professional level. The masseurs are also very good, we spent pleasant moments here. The selection of breakfast is excellent, the choice and quality of dinner could be better but the drawbacks were forgotten due to the childlessness of the Spa part (Sauna World).So these 4 day was really relaxing!!!

Reviewed By VikistravelsExcellent hotel. Brand new, very nice decorated. We had a suite with great view of Basilica. Hotel staff are nice and welcoming. There’s a good spa in the hotel with whirlpools and different saunas opened until late evening. We also have a free entrance to the aqua park next door, but didn’t get enough time to use it. There’s very tasty and plentiful dinner and breakfast and free parking in the hotel. We certainly will come to stay for couple days next time in the area.

Reviewed By Departure68068610007We stayed for 8 days so having enough time to learn a lot about this Hotel I feel entitled to form a negative overall opinion. The location is excellent, the old great trees provide relief and calm atmosphere. But the Hotel itself! Prices: the smallest mineral water: 490 HUF! All the beverages are expensive, and in return we had to wait a lot to be served. The price of an ice cream bowl is roughly the twice of that of an excellent hotel by the seaside. Food: medium -low quality food with the worst possible buffet breakfast structure. You have to wait a lot. Always and a lot. I could see dozens of people waiting 15 minutes to get 150ml apple juice… I had to wait 20 minutes a multiple times because the meat dishes were empty and the staff did not refill them. There is not enough staff to change the cutlery and dishes, refill the food pans and serve the drinks. You feel in a refugee camp for that high price. Its normal that the cakes of the previous days were served on the following days… Staff: the hotel staff is friendly but untrained and unorganized. The ice cream fridge got empty on wednesday and was not refilled for roughly 2 days… Extras: I was using the toilet in my suite when the cleaning staff knocked on the toilet’s door and asked me to change the dustbin of the loo!!!! Yes, when i was using the toilet! I havent ever heared about such an insult in a hotel. In the last day, I wanted to drink a coke before leaving the hotel. It took exactly 19 minutes to get the coke, because there was only one person in charge for the whole hotel bar service. One person made all the coctails, coffees, made the bill and handled the cash. So, we call it Nevercomeback Hotel

Reviewed By tojas8We booked a room with a terrace in the main building - considering it was bad weather - we made a good choice. Both the quality of the room and the services were exceptional (the bed was too soft for us). I would especially like to highlight the restaurant, which surprised us with a varied high-quality breakfast and quality a la carte food. The whole hotel is characterized by the use of quality materials and perhaps in this context it is no coincidence that good quality SPA services. We didn't feel that something was working because it had to be, a good example of this was the outdoor jacuzzi pool with the right pressure, the sauna with a good temperature, and so on. We'll be back with the family,

Beside all the above we were also dissatisfied: In the spa area in gentlemen toilets there was a very strong urine smell, which was disgusting. Also due to some ventilation problems there was a constant deep fryer/Schnitzel smell in our hotel room during dinner time. I also dislike the idea of charging extra for sauna usage, it should be included in the package price

1st class environment, low class service
Reviewed By katalink889I had a Sunday lunch there with my friend. Nice location, green, peaceful area. However, the service wasn't great at all. 1. When my drink run out, nobody asked me of I wanted to have more. (You miss here the opportunity of upselling). 2. There is NO dairy free option on the menu! (Lactose free does not mean dairy free!) 3. We only had main course, but the waiter did not remove the starter cutleries. 4. The napkin would be better in textile or any other material rather than paper. 5. The pork dish on the menu was NOT HOT at all 6. Nobody has got back to us to ask if wr liked the food or if we would like anything else. 7. Dessert for a dairy free person? Forget about that! Nothing on the menu. But at least they can do fruit salad. The atmospehere and the decor was great amd we liked the little music box with the invoice in it, we also got roses as a good bye gift, but personally according to the service, it is over-priced. Unfortunately, I had a big expectation from this place as it was recommended for us, but I am disappointed. Not because of the food, that was fine, but the service is low class. It definitely needs improvements.

Wonderful nature, silence and undisturbed calm
Reviewed By laczkozsuThis is a wonderful area in Zemlplen mountains with forest and a lake. The huge Pihenopark is 14 hectares. There are bungallows for families, friends or groups to stay. We took a short trip from Satoraljaujhely to Rudabanyacska and found this hidden gem. It’s far away from noise and traffic. Nature is beautiful, we were walking around the lake then sat outside on the terrace of the restaurant. We were after lunch, so we only drank some drinks and coffee.

Your life might be in danger of dog attack by other guests
Reviewed By szabi1981My family went to the yard of the hotel to play volleyball, when a big dog of a guest ran towards us and attacked. I reported the incident to the hotel reception where they defended themselves with they have no responsibility and cannot take care of us. I have a 5 yo daughter and my family is not felling in safe in this hotel. I would like to warn everybody to think twice because dogs are allowed without control here and you cannot count on hotel management support if human insurrance occurs. This incident occurred today, I will check out 3 days earlier, so tomorrow morning, take as: ASAP.

Szép a szoba, szép az étkező, 4 csillag lenne. Az első probléma: nincs kírva, hogy hol van, anélkül nem lehet megtalálni, hogy valaki ne telefonálna oda. A második probléma a hangerő. Mindenütt üvölt a legócskább tuc-tuc zene. Nem lehet kibírni. Ennénk, innánk itt, de menekülünk, mert az egyik meglehetősen barátságtalan hölgy, aki ott dolgozik, elmondja, hogy ez egy szórakozóhely (azaz nem szálloda) A harmadik probléma a reggeli. 8 árara van meghirdetve a reggeli, Mivel egy nagy keréképáros túrát szerveztünk, szerettünk volna mihamamarabb reggelizni. Étlapról lehet rendelni (egyik nap volt gyümölcs, másnap már nem, ) péksüteményt 8 órakor nem tesznek ki, kb. negyed kilenckor jelenkezett az első pincérhölgy. Előre kellett fizetni. Szóval hiába szépséges a környezet, igyekeznek barátságosak lenni, hiába jó a medence, a vendég, aki fogyasztana, pihenne, kénytelen menekülni. Hiába jelezzük, -ez szórakozóhely- minden marad a régiben.

Not a 4 start hotel
Reviewed By Jankovic KIt might have been a good place which is not maintained properly. Cleaning is very poor, need also refurbishment. Personal is very friendly, helpful, food also good. For the price there are much better places in Hungary.
