Reviewed By B9240WUbriancHighly recommend the ANTIK HOTEL ? in Balchik. Stayed 2 nights to relax and explore the local sea front promenade which has been very well upgraded for walking and cycling. It is probably one of the best promenades I have seen in the country. Hope they continue expanding it. HOTEL has easy access to the pedestrian area through minus 1 and through the restaurant or by exiting the main entrance and taking walkway beside hotel. Check in was perfect. Booked room with sea view. Well worth it. Large room with kitchenette and separate bathroom and shower. Nice balcony that shares with adjoining rooms of which was only 3 or 4. View fantastic. Motivates you to get out. Room clean. Bathroom and shower more than adequate. Water and essentials in room. Cups plates etc. Very good service for breakfast. Simple but plenty. Restaurant on promenade opposite restaurant well worth a visit. Service and food good. English well spoken and understood so u get food how you like it . Parked car at rear of hotel for 2 days free of charge. Parking in general in balchik can be limited if busy. The more popular it gets the harder to park. Arrive early is always my policy. Will definitely resist this hotel and cannot wait to explore more restaurants cafes and amenities on the promenade. Marina has nice potential. Slept well and good WiFi for working.

Great location to visit the 7 lakes
Reviewed By Sightseer47606843047We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is located in the nature, near the cable car to visit the 7 Lakes and near the start of other great hiking areas. Therefore, the location of this hotel is it’s biggest benefit. The room was clean, had all the facilities needed and had a good mattress. Bathroom was ok; unfortunately there was not enough warm water to fill the bath. The biggest disadvantage of this hotel is the fact that the employees do not speak English; not even a few words. This makes it hard to communicate if you do not speak Bulgarian. Luckily we had Google translate to help us :). Next to this, the breakfast was not great. There were no options, you either got so-called french toast or another cheese-filled dough from the frying pan. The latter was way to fat for our liking (especially at 9 am). Altogether, our experience with this hotel was good. We definitely enjoyed our days in the nature!

Reviewed By dalewis04thanks step hotel staff had a 10 day stay here staff helpful and very attentive if we needed anything they were there to help with a smile even if they had worked long hours which was very nice no old grumpy ones that i have encountered on my travels food was always hot and plentiful nice little hotel id stay again only bug bear or advantane is that its far from all clubs but few bars are around and if u got to lose a few pounds its not too far to walk taking a few short cuts to flower street so no taxis needed if u do need a taxi stay with the same one all holiday u will save money and not get ripped off by a random taxi driver set YOUR price with ur taxi driver 10 lev to flower street and he will pick you up from were ever you are Happy holidays

Really excellent place to stay!
Reviewed By sophie3001What a fabulous place to stay. We had two apartments as we are a family of 5 booking at the last minute. We booked half board and are so glad we did. Good, home cooked food at ridiculously low prices meant our skiing holiday was excellent value. The rooms and communal areas were spacious, warm and spotlessly clean and staff were friendly and welcoming. Beds were very comfortable and showers were clean with plenty of hot water. There were board games available for entertainment at the table. Kids loved the pool before dinner; jacuzzi wasn’t available, or fitness room due to Covid. The hotel is in a perfect position within stumbling distance to the gondola and all the bars and restaurants. Prices for food and drink close to the gondola are far more than at the hotel - £40 for 5 Subway sandwiches compared to around £2-4 for a meal at the hotel! I’m sure if you were looking for small imperfections you could find them, but focusing on what is important to us, everything was spot on and we had a fantastic holiday. The only reason I can think of for people writing less favourable reviews is to keep this gem to themselves!

Reviewed By AvrigeanuDuring our stay in Sunny Beach, we ate every day at the Oleander House restaurant that offers good food, fast service, a nice and clean terrace. There are many oleanders - obviously. Their flowers and leaves create a pleasant shadow even when it is very hot outside. The restaurant offers aslo a good kids menu.

Completely unprofessional service
Reviewed By SofiaRodinThis place advertises 24 hour reception. Nonsense. I got there before 1900 and the place was locked ! I was left with bags, a disability with no hotel room All I got was strange messages from a lady who asked where I was and then she left. Cannot recommend because of this terrible customer service.

Reviewed By Alice_dim13Visited with my family (incl. a one-year old). Great facilities, the swimming pool, the spa, the masseuse... And most of all, the horses! You can pet them, help out, feed them, go for a ride - excellent experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is also pretty good. Baby cots and high chairs are available. Highly recommend!

Reviewed By Alexandrov1976Stayed there with my wife. The hotel is very cozy. The architecture is traditional for the region. The rooms are spotless and big enough. Breakfast was amazing and really tasty. Dinner was great and the service was fantastic. Parking was also provided free of charge. We are definitely coming back.

Кухонная и столовая зоны имеют все для комфорта отдыхающих - большой холодильник, СВЧ, чайник, кофемашина, много посуды, принадлежности для BBQ. Красивая, утопающая в зелени и цветах, зона отдыха во дворе. Очень доброжелательные, гостеприимные хозяева. Хозяйка хорошо говорит на русском языке, что добавляем удобства русскоговорящим туристам, также может организовать экскурсии по различным достопримечательностям Болгарии.
