The owners and staff were all very helpful , friendly and always had a smile and a joke. The only improvement would be if they could provide some fresh food for BBQs in the shop.

Reviewed By KiwiKerry53What a great place to stay. The couple who run it are lovely - I felt like I was being welcomed into their home - a real cultural experience. There is parking available on the street right outside the property or a short walk away in a small car park. They were happy to charge our rooms individually the following morning, despite our booking being non refundable. The rooms are lovely and very spacious and beautifully furnished. We followed our hosts advice on where to dine for dinner - it was perfect. Breakfast was wonderful - a fabulous array of home made yogurt, breads, cakes, preserves and all home made.

Reviewed By Jamie EAurore and Jerome are gracious generous hosts. They communicated quickly by Airbnb and WhatsApp and gave good directions. They welcomed us to their home and provided everything we could think of, from a delicious home-cooked meal for 30 EUR (that turned out to be five courses!) to helping us do laundry. We stayed for one night at their beautiful house. The setting is ideal - you can hear the sheep next door, view over the pool and lovely fields, and even see the Pyrenees in the distance. Nearby are several attractions such as walled cities and ancient ruins. The compound has a terrific looking pool and sessions in the jacuzzi are offered as well as several types of massage because one of your hosts is a professional masseuse. Can this get any better? It can: the hosts' daughter is a charming nearly-nine years old and was so darling with our own daughter offering her toys to play with and a session jumping on the trampoline together. The African room is newly created, decorated with African-themed patterns and artifacts from the hosts trip to Namibia, and features photos that Jerome took of the animals and landscapes there. Beautiful! Everything is thoughtfully done, the bed is very comfortable, and the view from this room is perfect: it's floor to ceiling glass on two sides and more windows on the third. It's the best room in the house, perched on top looking out over the lush garden, although it is up steep stairs that might be an issue for older folks. The en-suite bathroom is spacious and new and every little detail is perfect from a fresh box of facial tissue to drapes that fully cover the windows so you can sleep late if you like. We opened the windows on three sides and let the mountain breeze blow through. The WiFi is slowish but reliable. Fine for emails but not movies. Jerome speaks enough English to stay here even if you have no French.

Ancienne école du hameau, le gite comprend 5 chambres avec salle de bain, toutes orientées vers le sud . Vous profitez d'une très belle vue sur les montagnes et sur la rivière en contre bas. La vallée d'Ustou est restée authentique et vous pourrez pratiquer la randonnée, du VTT, du cheval ou simplement venir vous détendre.

They do not even allow me to write it in English and Catalan (both). Oddly enough, they assure they believe in the "Right to Write" [sic] when they send the message stating that the review cannot be in Catalan. ON TOPIC: We stayed there because it is one of the refuges included in the "Muntanyes de Llibertat" (Mountains of Freedom) trekking, but we left knowing that sooner or later we would come back. A beautiful place, well located, cared for down to the last detail, quite, and served by Nathalie and Philippe, who literally make you feel at home. Excellent and plentiful dinner, and lots of activities to do in the area.

Our hotel is in the beautiful Massat valley in the Ariège area and we offer the perfect accommodation for cyclists, cycle-racers, motorcyclists and walkers. Reviewed By HeleneDanishGreat stay during our bike trip with cosy conversations with the hosts Elma and Mark, and the other guests during the common 3 course (bike size portion) dinner. Don’t forget to get your name on the scoreboard for port de Coll timing. A must stay for any bike tourist!

If nature and vintage are important in your life, you're on the right track ! There are 3 American aluminium trailers varying from decades and models and one guest house. The unusualness of Belrepayre stretches further than the fabulous American caravans. You'll find vintage artefact around every corner and retro vehicles are not uncommon event. The Genreal store provides tasty local produces and souvenirs. Belrepayre as a family business has been providing happy back in time times for people since 2003. Belrepayre has also been in many magazines and tv program and used for numerous events, photos shoots and films. Because of its uniqueness and situation (Pyrenees foothills) it is a great backdrop for numerous topics.

Reviewed By SophmattThis is certainly the place to go if you just need to kick-back and chill! We had 5 nights here with use for exclusive use for one hours or so in the hot tub. There is no street lights to spoil the night views and no noise of traffic or anything other than nature! That is unless your playing some cool sounds in your trailer. Each airstream on the camp is unique & has its own area for outdoor dining and relaxing. And a outdoor shower. Also exclusive use of a hot-tub which is in its own separate area. We were picked up from Pamiers train station which was an easy bus ride from the airport to the main train station in Toulouse. And only about 35 minutes on the train to get to Pamiers. You can hire bikes from Mirepoix - and the electric bikes will get you up any hills easily that you encounter. Your trailer will have everything you need for cooking and if you need shopping in Mirepoix you can easily get everything you need there from a big supermarket...or fresh stuff from the market in the centre if you get there on a Monday! They even have a general store just in case your run put of the basics, like er...WINE!! ?

Friendly small hotel
Reviewed By RachaelB2063We stayed one night and we found this to be a lovely little hotel. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Despite COVID restrictions we were able to order a very nice meal to eat in our room on the evening where a table was set up. Breakfast was plentiful and again served in the room.
