You’ll find it’s an easy walk to Fengchia Night Market — also called Fengchia Shopping Town — which is a sensory feast for both eyes and palate. You’ll also find is convenient to go to National Taichung Theater, Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Taichung Zhonggang, Top City Department Store, Taichung, Kuangsan SOGO Department Store, Dajia Zhenlan Temple, National Museum of Natural Science, Taichung Confucius Temple, Lihpaoresort Theme Park and other places to enjoy the diversity and splendor of Taiwan.

Reviewed By 1981brucehChecked in for a night before CNY Eve with family, and the experience was superb right from the beginning to the end. Parking lot was brand new and spacious. Check in was efficient with acknowledgement as IHG loyalty customer (free bottle juice and a bit of a surprise on the free snacks in the room ^^). Check in staff are all courteous and warm. Hotel is 1~2 months old, so room is perfect, large double beds and spacious bathroom. Coat hangers are solid and hangers sturdy. Map of the area on the wall is quite cool. Breakfast was delicious and heart healthy, with noodle bar (just wished there was minced pork for the dry noodles). Coffee is great, 3~5 choices (can't remember). Pasta was really good, and fried rice tasty. They have plain yogurt, a very nice touch. Gym was basic (only aerobic equipment) and starts at 7am, which is not early enough for business people who needs to work out before heading out. But the staff told me of a nearby park called Wenxin (5 min walk), which was great for jogging/ calisthenics/ stretching (I actually enjoy the work out in the park more than their gym). Hotel location is perfect, 5 min walk to the famous fengchia night market with an array of restaurants to choose from, all at reasonable prices. Auto water dispensers are located in the lobby and roof floor, which very convenient to hydrate your body. I really enjoy the experience at this business hotel, and hopefully, their price stays competitive going forward, so that i wouldn't go back to stay at HIE Taichung Park. Although both are equally good in their respectful ways.

Reviewed By DarcichenBest hotel to stay in Taichung, top location, top staff, really enjoyed the great stay. 大愛，滿分? 因公從4月7號入住，由於住的太開心，昨天搬出之後，到都超級難以適應新的住處，好懷念 1. 地點：七期的優勢就不用說了，走兩步就是法鼓山。最新附近還開了一間小7-11，或者往文心路方向也有全聯 2. 房間：view很好（由於view太好，讓我到現在都有難以適應新的住所） 3. 服務：無論是門口的少爺还有Katherine小姐，前台的正妹小姐姐们，還是3樓的餐飲，5楼的商务中心，大部分都很熱心，讓人覺得賓至如歸 4. 餐飲：作為一個吃素的美食爱好者，我刚入住的前幾天找不到喜欢吃的，三楼的正妹Maggie小姐就主动询问我要不要吃素蒸饺或者炒饭，每天都特别为我准备。还有其他的小姐姐们也都很棒，最快乐的就是丰盛的大早餐，也有我特别爱吃的好吃的cheese（以为离开欧洲就吃不到了，竟然也有babybel），面包也很多种，也都可以烤，总之很赞 好希望下次再来入住！

Reviewed By cheungirisboutique hotel with a cozy environment. they do provide a shuttle bus to the FengJia night market every half hour in the evening or just take you 10-15 mins walk to there. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Reviewed By DocHolleyPROS: Fairly close to night market, but we took the bus there and back mostly. CONS: At around $95 per night...better is expected. The mixed themes of ECOLOGY and Bond's 007 just doesnt work...and the "green" perspective does not entitle to cut corners and cut back. Arrived at 3:20 with all ready for a quick check in...paperwork was processed rapidly but we were told to wait....so a staff member could present our welcome gift...10 minutes later, a small box of 2 candies and a cookie arrived...sorry, but my time is more valuable for a $1 worth of sweets i could have gotten at the convenience store across the street...and then the breakfast was another disappointment...3 ladies standi g behind the kitchen counter with little going on, but no egg station??!!!... it looked like they previously prepared the mostly asian dishes for the 20 or so guests and that was that ...scrambled egg tray was watery, running and unappealing to say the least. However, the hotel is fairly new, very clean, and the staff nice although not all that congenial.

Great Hotel in Feng Chia area
Reviewed By Anne188624Pros: Friendly staff, big and clean room. walking distance to Feng Chia Night Market. Near to eateries, 7-11, Watson Cons: bathroom will be so wet after shower as there is no divider/door to separate the shower and toilet. TV is hang up too high not eye level. TIPS: If you plan to use Xitun Area as a base, this is a great hotel. But if you plan to use Taichung as a base and travel to outskirt via the rail or HSR; this hotel is not near to railway station nor HSR station. via taxi to the stations is about 20-30mins. From Taoyuan airport, you can take the Ubus to the HSR station, free shuttle bus service to Feng Chia University and 5-10 mins to hotel. I took a taxi less than US$10. You should have name and address in Chinese which will be handy for the driver as not all drivers understand English

I liked the rooftop pool also, though it seemed to be closed at times (typhoon weather, but no lightning strikes around, so closure seemed overly cautious; let us swim at our own risk!). The thing I didn't like was breakfast. Served in an adjacent restaurant, joyless staff, and though the selection was wide, it all seemed rather tired & unappealing to me. Fortunately I don't eat a big breakfasts!

More than a basic hotel
Reviewed By NixnawConveniently located very near to Fengjia Night Market. Its not a big night market but it has the usual chicken cutlet, bubble tea and sweet potato balls just to name a few. My room was two double beds. Toilet was clean and bright with clean towels and spacious. Hair dryer was available. Basic amenities like toothbrush toothpaste and cups are provided. Variety of coffee and tea also provided plus electric kettle, cups and spoons also provided. Shampoo and shower gel provided. The shampoo is good. One of the few hotels where the shampoo is so good you don't even need a conditioner afterwards. Air conditioner and lighting for the room is adjusted using the telephone. Please refer to photo. Breakfast variety is good. Quite a big breakfast area with baby chair.

It’s bright, spacious, and smell good! This hotel is really take care about many details. Just few disadvantages have to improve, 1. The master switch for all the lights will cause your phone not charging ... 2. Toilet seat is really considerable, but should have English instruction Will definitely stay this hotel again if we have chance.

Reviewed By ecocaThe room that I stayed in has the bed on a clmbed-up style bunker. It gives more space for the living area of the room. The only demerit is that you don't get to watch when you are on your bed. The underground parking is a nice touch considering the parking situation in the area. In general, it is clean and nice.
