We are located across the highway from the Lexington Medical Center and at the intersection of I-26 and State Highway 378. The University of South Carolina is about a 12-minute drive away. Excellent hotel off interstate
Reviewed By dannym994Front desk was nice and accommodating to all of us. We were in Columbia for a family wedding and several of us all picked this hotel. Has a restaurant, bar, pool. Also down the street is a Starbucks and several fast-food joints and restaurants. All in all was nice and I recommend this hotel. To me most importance is cleaness. I give that a 10!

Reviewed By kates5283We stayed here for one night and if were any more than that, we would have switched hotels. We ALWAYS stay in the Hilton hotel family and, usually, at a Hampton Inn. This one fell short of expectations. Check in staff was nice. The first room had a weird smell to it that hit you as soon as you opened the door. They, thankfully, moved us to another room. However, that room was so so so small. Like barely room to walk between the tv and the end of the bed. If you had suitcases, I don't know that you would have fit them in the room. The overall cleanliness was okay. The bathroom could definitely be cleaner than it was and the water pressure wasn't great. Breakfast buffet was fine, but didn't have as much selection as some other hotels. But again, one night so it was fine for that. We won't be staying here again.

Great hotel but one major flaw
Reviewed By Cathy023This hotel has a lot going for it. The Residence Inn was a mile or two off of the interstate and in a quiet neighborhood. There is a very good grocery store close by, Front desk staff was friendly and professional. Everything was exceptionally clean. The major drawback is management's tolerance for smoking on the property. There is a beautiful outdoor area with fire pit, BBQ grill and seating. Despite 'No Smoking" signs, there are ashtrays on just about every table and people freely smoke. There fact that there are ashtrays indicates that management condones this activity. I would have loved to sit out and enjoy the evening but this ruined it for me. I would like to point out that I'm a Marriott Ambassador level member and have never encountered this lax attitude before.

Reviewed By Sandy_cardenas_ayalaFront desk was very nice. He gave us our assigned room and it did smell like smoke and brought those concerns worth him and he gladly moved both of our reservations to non smoking side by side rooms. Definitely would stay here again. We went for a family event

Reviewed By marciamE2595SZPicked this hotel after dark while traveling on the road all day. Previous stays at Quality Inn hotels had been good experiences. This one however did not. Hotel lobby appeared clean and woman checking us in was polite and gave us a non-smoking room. When I asked about breakfast time I was told they didn't serve any. The rooms had exterior entrances and we were able to park across from our room. I accidentally spilled a cup of water near the sink and after blotting it up with a towel was disgusted to see how dirty the floor was.. The shower had mold present as in need of a good cleaning. The sheets were stained and could have used bleach too. In the morning we noticed the smoke detector was missing the battery. The guest directory in the room and website listed hot breakfast and a pool. Manager in the morning said they didn't offer them due to Covid restrictions from the county. Not the quality deserving of the name Quality Inn

Reviewed By LarryQBPleasant stay but needs ongoing maintenance. The lobby sofas and chairs need cleaning or replacement and wallpaper needs attention..The rooms are spartan but clean. It would be nice to have a TV guide. Touch up paint and de-rusting would help. The staff is friendly. Another reviewer said there is no restaurant nearby, which is not true. Right there is a Shoneys and a Waffle House. The hotel website should state the pool is closed and indicate when it might be open.

This place is nasty
Reviewed By kellistThis place is a nasty place. I expected more from choice hoteIs. I have stayed other places and was very disappointed. I had three rooms reserved for fellow employees that traveled with me and it was embarrassing to have them stay at this motel (looked like more like a pay by the hour motel) and all three rooms where disgusting the two other . When we arrived an employee was wearing sweet pants and no shoes and this was six in the afternoon. I expect more for the price of motel. And when they say Continental Breakfast yeah good luck with that also not even much of a choice of breakfast and everything looked like it had been sitting out for days.
