Great Experience From Start to Finish
Reviewed By James FTremendous value. We visited for US Navy Basic Training Graduation ceremonies. Very close to base. Very clean. Quiet. And comfortable. The staff were very accommodating. The shuttle service to and from the graduation ceremony was golden! It saved a lot of waiting on line (very early in the morning) to secure a parking spot. Complimentary breakfast (early on graduation day) was very much appreciated. We’ll be staying here again when we visit next. Angela…THANK YOU! Your level of service, commitment, and genuine caring for your guests is remarkable. You made us feel very welcomed, and your help and advice was top notch.

The hotel was beyond clean, the staff was very friendly, and there was a free breakfast every morning. Would 100% recommend to anyone traveling for the Great Lakes Graduation.

Reviewed By Happiness13835092903We were there for a navy graduation and chose this place for the larger rooms, firepit and outdoor area as a way to visit with my son before he shipped off. The firepits been broken a year, there’s really only 7 chairs and was made to look larger than the smoking area it is. They plan on turning the firepit into a plant bed. We were informed at check in no maid service (which was fine but no trash dumped, no new towels either), and a breakfast that shouldn’t even be thought of as a breakfast. They didn’t even have creamer all 4 days. The beds must be the original. The springs are in your back. I went to my 70 year old dads room and was the same. I slept on the small chaise. This is not a Marriott by true standards. This is a hotel that everything must be the original and they are using covid 2 years out to claim for its less than acceptable standards. Save your $. Ask questions to the hotels when you book. This one was terrible

Not what I thought it would be
Reviewed By Jays1861This hotel looks like it is just off the highway but it is in a very tough place to get to. Weird twists and turns that take you into an old school mall by pass. Area is not the safest and for food they are limited with restaurant choices except for fast food and chains. Hotel rooms are old and dingy. Paper thin walls. Breakfast is not free and also is not good. Overall disappointment.

Reviewed By 467abigailgDO NOT STAY HERE!!! I booked here because of the nice reviews I saw and the shuttle to the Navy RTC graduation but made a terrible mistake!! They would not give you extra blankets or pillows. My daughter had a pee accident and they made us wait 11 hours before getting us any blankets in a very cold night to sleep on. The front guy said to wait for the manager, when the manager got here he came to verify the bed to then give us clean sheets to change the bed. A young foreign man with poor costumer skills. He said they could give us blankets or towels because people steal them so we could only request them when the maids were here (which is from 10 to 2 pm). I requested a non smoking room and somebody came next door (joint door) and smoke weed that out suitcase smells now and I'm pregnant and caused me severe nausea and management could care any less. They also had a crazy loud music which the front door guy did take care of after I complained. If we knew any better we would not stayed here. I'm from Arizona and did not know any better. Please BEWARE Do NOT book here. The absolute worst hotel I ever stayed at.! Don't do it. Don't make the same mistake we made.

Worst experience
Reviewed By carol mIt was the worst experience I've ever had staying at a hotel. I know it's a cheap hotel, but at least you must feel safe wherever you are staying. The door lock of the building was broken. Since I made my reservation, I chose a non-smoking room, and when I arrived the only one available it was smoking. Today I arrived at my house after staying at the hotel for 3 nights, and when I open my suitcase,all my clothes smells like cigarettes. It was loud all the night, people talking outside and steps were heard on the second floor during all the night. Since the first night there was a fly in the room that never left, and it flew near my ear. Who can rest like that? with a smell of cigarettes, without security and with such noise. I hate to write this email, but I hope it will help improve, and other people do not go through this bad experience.
