Beds are soft and nice, a little small in our tast but normal for Spain. The terass was perfect for breakfast! Stay here you will not regret it. The small town is nice and calm this time of year. The sets perfectly for you.

A nice hotel in a nice town

It is "good enough", but then one must realize that I was really beginning to miss ham and eggs at this point. :-) The room was on the top floor and very quiet. The bed comfortable. The shower unique in that it was a tub that is 1/2 as long as I'm used to, but still I took a long soak to try to ease the pangs of the Camino hike and heal my poor toes. There are a number of restaurants close by, including some on the water front. The price was right. They have a special for the Camino hikers. This is a place to hold up while waiting for the right boat to take you to Padron. We were there in the "off-season" so most folks were relegated to a Zodiac that seats about 16 people. Our friends who left the day before we did were quite vocal in warning us. There is also a "speed boat" that the local albergue recommends. After viewing both, I think I'd rather wait for a taxi or something. Luckily for us, enough folks showed up that all the Zodiacs were cancelled and we all got on the big boat for a very enjoyable trip. The boat called our hotel to tell us that our departure time had changed to 8:30 from 10:00. We only got the message though because we ran into other hikers who had gotten it earlier.

Fantastic Stay with Amazing Staff

The rooms were clean and spacious, the location is right across from the beach and the staff were fantastic. They were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay as easy as possible. If I were coming back next year for the same reasons, I would definitely want to stay at this hotel again.

Great deal for a rest stop
Reviewed By ferdinandov455We stayed here in 2019, under the previous management, and we liked it on account of the quiet settimg and the beach across the street: not the best one in the area, granted, but definitely a popular spot with locals. There are a couple of eateries in walking distance, many good restaurants are available within a 15 min drive. We found the new management had been stepping up the game, completely refurbishing the place, with some common space for reading, coffee, once Covid regulations will allow for more social interaction. Rooms are a bit cramped, but the views more than offset it. Javier, the owner, is a jovial guy, speaks different languages, has an irresistible Galician accent in Spanish and will be most helpful in giving the guests tips and any assistance they might require. There is room for improvement (wifi doesn’t work, to begin with), but we would definitely recommend this property if you are in the area.

Reviewed By boyrembrandtWe have just returned for a second time from what can only be described arguably as in my opinion the best hotel in Galicia. The hotel is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The rooms are like new, the beds comfortable and with a great view from the balcony (room 109) and the bathroom couldn't be any better and is well looked after by the room service. The breakfasts are brilliant the choice is really diverse and very well presented to say the least. Luis and his two sons Oscar and Miguel can't do enough for you very friendly, courteous and a pleasure to be with as is his daughter Laura the head chef we have eaten a number of times in this restaurant and couldn't complain about anything. The hotel is also very reasonably priced for what you get. Outside is a great swimming pool which we used everyday, fabulous. We are treated so well at this hotel we are made to feel like family as it is there home we are made very welcome. We will return to this hotel a soon as we are able because the experience is fantastic and we miss it already.

Quizá pelín caro para la mentalidad del peregrino (40€ la privada para 2 personas), pero la comodidad, ubicación y limpieza del lugar bien lo compensan. Además, lavadora y secadora incluida en el precio. Y el dueño es tremendamente amable y servicial. Muy buena persona. Altamente recomendable.

Reviewed By lilacsinlondonWe are walking the Portuguese Camino de Santiago and stayed here for a night for my daughter (and myself) to enjoy the pool. We are also travelling with my Mom. The two women at the front desk (one who spoke a bit of English and one not at all) were extremely helpful. They not only booked our ferry tickets to Padron but also ordered us a pizza when everything else was closed. The one lady used google translate and made sure we had exactly what we wanted on the pizza. Our ferry time ended up changing and she came to find us to explain. She also had them open breakfast a half hour early for us before our departure and called a cab to get to the ferry. Would highly recommend staying here. And.. the pool was fantastic!!

The café, TV lounge, showroom and sales, nightclub, swimming pool, parking and lift.

There was also a swimming pool, which was most welcome as it was very hot whilst we were there. The staff, especially the girls in the restaurant, were extremely good, very friendly & most helpful. We would definitely recomend this hotel.
