Ibis Styles Vierzon is a brand new hotel opening in April 2015. The hotel has 56 rooms including 13 Suites and 5 Family Suites. Located close to the highway and 5 minutes driving from the city center of Vierzon, the hotel has a contemporary design in the spirit " Recup " called "Seconde Vie", with different objects diverted from their original use. Ideal for leisure and business trips, you can also enjoy our indoor heated pool, our fitness center and sauna. A catering services is available at the bar or in your room.
Disappointing service
Reviewed By Myska74We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is situated near the highway which was fine for us but in case you are sensitive to noise, it might not be the best option. On a positive side, our family room was spacious, with a very comfortable queen bed and a sofa bed. The bathroom was clean. We only regretted that it was not possible to use the shower as it was broken. It was annoying as we arrived in the night after a 6 hour drive. Fortunately, the issue was solved quickly the following day. On a more negative side, the hotel has serious issues with service. The staff is nice and friendly and tried their best. We would like to thank a blond lady in a red shirt who was very kind and really tried to make up for the restaurant problems. It seems that the hotel is understaffed and despite the efforts of the staff, the service at the breakfast was a disaster. Every time we arrived, there were no plates and cutlery. Guests had to wait for 10-15 minutes to get them (in principle all had to wait for dishwasher to finish its cycle). The staff was running between the kitchen, breakfast restaurant and reception causing delays at all fronts. Similarly, in the evening, we gave up after waiting 15-20 minutes for somebody to take our order at the bar. Housekeeping was chaotic as one day the room was cleaned and the other not. So overall, a bit disappointing.

Good basic hotel
Reviewed By ChericoRLAfter breaking down near Vierzon our recovery company booked my husband & I into this hotel while arrangements were made to get us home. The receptionist was very friendly and forgiving of our limited French. The rooms are not luxurious but more than adequate for a night and the bed was very comfortable. We didn't dine at the hotel choosing a nearby restaurant instead but breakfast the next morning was plentiful. The only frustration was the noise from a room below us who thought it was ok to party loudly into the early hours which spilled out onto the adjacent roof below us. The music was turned down after several guests complained but we appreciate this was down to selfish guests and to a certain extent outside the hotels direct control.

Nobody respected the arrows on the floor. So we left to be safe. The furniture in the sleeping room was old, rusty, not clean and completely high-aged. The door of the bathroom didn't close anymore. When this 'hotel' should be controlled by the government, they would receive negative advice

Reviewed By JoanBurtonWe had an overnight stay here on our way back from Andorra. It was clean, comfortable and very welcoming. The breakfast was extremely good for a budget hotel, absolutely top notch! It actually included bacon and eggs! There was a good Chinese buffet restaurant nearby and also a supermarket with filling station. There is plenty of free car parking and free WiFi. We would certainly stay there again.

Hot but comfortable
Reviewed By Kris SIn our way to the south of France we spent a night in Vierzon. The Garden House is not the typical road hotel, but a place with some character... and a nice garden. So we liked to stay there, but the room was very hot and a ventilator was necessary but noisy, so we didn't sleep at all.
