I was welcomed at the desk professionally and efficiently, like I was being welcomed by a friend. My room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the lobby area was good and the front desk staff was friendly and professional.

Reviewed By randyr0Nice hotel. In the first room we had, the telephone didn't work and she got us another one to call the front desk or housekeeping. The outlets and blow dryer didn't work but when I called the front desk, she had another room to switch us to. I would stay again

At first I was excited to stay there talked to a woman named Chris who super helpful and offered us suggestions on where to eat upon our arrival. But when we arrived mid afternoon, we were directed to "Please call 1-337- ***-****" on a sign posted at the desk. So I called the gentleman answered and told me to have a seat it would be awhile for him to be at the desk so have a seat. After he awoke from his slumber( you could tell he was whipping the sleep from his eyes and kept yawning) he joined me at the desk and checked us in, had me sign a paper agreeing that I understand and okay that the "kitchen is broken and there will be no breakfast, and there will be no price adjustment ".We go to our room to which I can only relate to as old wet towels smell greeting us as well as a giant hair ball tumbling across the floor from the opeing of the door, there were small rocks and dirt still on the floor as well. I go to use the bathroom and the toilet handle breaks. I go back up to be greeted by please call 1-337-***-****. Okay I call it again I asked him if I could please get another room the toilet handle is broken. He tells me to hold on. Mind you still not at the desk. Then tells me on the phone maintenance is on his way to fix it. We greet our solider go get a bite. And when we return around 6pm , I again am greeted with please call 1-337-***-**** I call AGAIN and say can you please move move us the room has a funky smell. I am told he would have to see what he has again all over the phone. We ended up just going to bed. My mother who has asthma was then later triggered having an attack at 2 am, I suspected the air conditioner so I tried to increase the thermostat to 70 degrees it would not read it and kept it 51, I try to press auto, would not change stayed on the ON position. So I unplugged the unit. Upon waking in the morning I noticed I did get a call back at 8:46 pm from the 1-337-***-****. But missed it because I was asleep. So we get dressed I again go to the front desk around 8 am,this time there are actually people there. I again pleed my case for a room. To which the young woman takes it down on a post-it, and tells me they will call my room. I asked that she please call me on my cell. We go and have breakfast out since there was none provided. Upon our return I see the post-it still there not addressed. We go to the room and I just could not stay there another night. Check out is noon so I booked a room at Holiday Inn Express, go to the front desk and asked the same young woman to please cancel my reservation as well as the one for return from New Orleans. Mind you she didn't even ask why we were canceling our reservations. We packed our bags faster than you could blink, and went to Holiday Inn. Again initially I was excited to go upon talking to Chris she was nice and attentive. But from check into check out poor service, poor cleaning.

Reviewed By F5526FYashleybWe were only here for a short stay. There is remodeling going on outside and inside, but we never heard any disturbances. Rooms were clean and attendant at front desk was friendly. For a smaller hotel I was surprised to see weights in the gym. Would definitely stay here again. Many restaurant choices best and very close to Wal Mart.

Rooms smelt horrible, blankets and sheets felt dirty we laid on top of them, left bags in the car just in case.
Reviewed By coachUSMCIf we didn’t need a place to rest so badly, we would have just taken the money loss and left. Rooms smelt so bad they had scented wax on the AC to try and make it smell better. Wish we picked another hotel. We wish we could have got refund and stay somewhere else, although it was too late in the evening. Good attendant who provided service, although couldn’t do anything about the rooms.

The staff are nice and professional. The location is central and easily accessible. The beds are comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms are stylish and well kept.

Reviewed By Klnstr_21First off, the hotel price was different than advertised on the website. When I checked in, the room was pretty empty. A kind sized bed, a tv from the 90s with a remote that didn’t work, and small fridge and microwave sitting on the floor, no other furniture. No table or chair. Extremely outdated. The ac was missing control panel, with the door shut that was still a gap between door and doorjamb. I went to front desk to see if they had any other furniture to add to the room and to get remote to work. Front desk said the maintenance worker should be there shortly. I waited for over an hour. He fixed the remote, and came back with a desk and chair but not fix the control panel. He blamed to missing part on the previous occupant, which I highly doubt. The beside tables were water damaged with cigarette burns (in a non smoking room) and the desk brought in had cigarette burns as well, so did the tub. Not worth the money. At least it didn’t smell.
