Reviewed By lkarpo830858AC was advertised but it didn’t work. Room was like a shoebox with no air. Staff was no helpful with checking in and didnt access with luggage.. Cindy at checkout was very friendly. Garage parking very tight with construction crew.

Reviewed By 604gcGreat reception on arrival for a three night stay. Covid rules being well applied and enforced. Very clean and tidy, breakfast good choice. Would highly recommend and stay again if visiting Tours / chateau's again. Ideally located and plenty of eating houses near if needed.

Nice hotel in a good location
Reviewed By EbonyChickensWe stayed in a Junior Suite. The location is next to the train station which is fine. The staff were excellent. The hotel is nice and the room spacious. The only negative point was the lumpy and uncomfortable pull out bed for our kids. Would stay again.

Beware of con artists operating out of a garage next door to the hotel, we were robbed
Reviewed By PugwashsaltyairWe loved the hotel and staff, but there are 3 men in a garage pulling a scam right next door to the hotel entrance and robbed us of a suitcase. Pretending to ask for a tool, and while you are occupied the other guy is at your things. After a long journey and very tired we were not on the ball and we became a victim. The hotel closes at 7pm for check in so they operate in the early evenings.

Included breakfast was fantastic with a great selection. The man looking after the breakfast buffet was attentive, helpful & friendly with great English. He was obviously proud of running a great breakfast bar & had pride in his work. A credit to the Ibis company. Great to see such a great attitude.

Reviewed By wayzy2Have had a love hate relationship with Accor hotels in recent times (before Covid) and had planned to stop using them after a bad time in another Mercure. However as a last resort we stayed just one night and was very happy with the result. In the past food has been an ongoing problem with closed restaurants or terrible service and food. To be fair this Mecure was perfect in all respects. Excellent rooms (expensive though at 150€ incl a very average breakfast) excellent staff and despite a very small Dinner menu the food was very good. Covid precautions were also first class. I have used these hotels for nearly twenty years and will continue if others can reach the standard of Tours Nord.

Good Location with Parking
Reviewed By TravelJunkieNWVery good location being a 15 minute walk into the historic centre of Tours. Underground Parking (10€) was very useful but be careful trying to get a jeep in. Good Breakfast Reception staff friendly and spoke good English Realistic price for December. Some parts of the hotel cold do with a refurb or tidy up but i would go back for the location and parking.

Reviewed By landhs71This was an Ibis Budget but the standard was poor. the reception was OK but not normal Ibis standard. The location is central and good BUT there was mould around the shower which is not acceptable in commercial accommodation.

Cozy little hotel with nice backyard!
Reviewed By Lux2000The hotel was nice and clean. The had taken 100% covid-19 precautions. Breakfast was served on a tray by the table with waiter wearing face mask. The hotel had a cozy backyard where you can enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening. Just wish smoking would have been prohibited. The only real negative was the location. It is a bit of a walk to go down town.
