Really nice place
Reviewed By 517anadWe stay just one night before taking the boat to Anakao. The location is perfect. Better them staying in Tuléar city center. They have an amazing botanic garden that I my say that is obligatory to pay a visit. The rooms are clean, big and nice. The food is good. The staff, not the owners, were the only thing that I would change :)

Reviewed By Sunshineday25We loved, loved, loved our stay here. In fact, we hated to leave. One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at in Madagascar. Best value for the price. With comfy bed,hot showers, cold a/c, mini fridge, wifi and cable TV we felt like we were staying at a hotel back in the states. The staff is professional, friendly and very helpful.

Reviewed By Pioneer109739This is a lovely Lodge but I want to warn people that if you stay here please make sure that all your possessions are locked in your suitcases. I stayed here at the end of September 2019 with a group of friends and while we were at the pool someone entered our locked room and stole my iPad and a small camera. There was no sign of a break in, someone entered with a key. I was extremely upset about this and reported it to the man at the front desk. He was suspiciously unhelpful and told us that the hotel only had one key for each room which doesn't make sense. It saddens me to give this Lodge such a poor rating as it really was a very special place but my experience there wasn't one I will remember fondly.

A very bad experience
Reviewed By kekelykI have just had lunch today at the Moringa restaurant and am outraged that the hotel's official cashier did not accept the checks from the BNI Tulear Bank (check on site) and even less the Visa card from the same Bank. on the pretext that their machine only tolerates BFV cards. He even had the brow to ask me to go back and forth to town (two kilometers) to pay the bill in cash. This behavior is in my eyes rather unacceptable and I believe that your hotel is far from deserving your so-called stars. Being also Malagasy myself, I do not understand why this Malagasy cashier does not understand that a resident of Tulear can be outraged by such acts. I know the Covid 19 crisis is here, but is that a reason to try at all costs to fill your lack of liquidity in this way?

Lovely hotel in Toliara
Reviewed By Dave DWe had a great overnight stay here. Our room was massive. The AC was nice and strong and there was decent ventilation from the sea breeze as well. The pool is a great place to relax and the restaurant has tables at one end of the pool. There are a couple of lemurs that live there and are fun to watch as they frolic around. In room Wifi was good and lots of power plugs to charge everything.
