Reviewed By davidaP2820ESWe showed up at the Apple Farm Inn, in San Luis Obispo with out a reservation on a RECON mission for up coming event. Anthony was more than happy to book us a room $159.00 for two people. The room was Beautiful with private access to the pool and hot tub. Joanna is a sweetheart and always smiling. Just be prepared if you have room 100 you will hear footsteps above you it is right below the lobby. Fantastic breakfast across the parking lot at the Apple Farm Restaurant. Be advised the restaurant closes at 1400 on weekdays. Big shout out to Hanna T. And Shelby good luck with your college ladies you are AWESOME.

This is a charming boutique hotel located in the heart of the historic town of San Luis Obispo. My stay was wonderful. I was greeted by Braden when I checked in a he was very welcoming and helpful. All of the staff that I encountered here were the same - professional, friendly and helpful. My room was spacious with a fireplace which came in handy during the cool spring evenings. The amenities in the room were top notch. The decor had an attracive modern rustic vibe. It would have been nice to have a chest of drawers to put clothes away. But this is a minor matter. The bar at the Granada is really cool. The bartender shaves his own ice. A nice place to hang out after dinner. Also the croissants they served at breakfast were delicious! The location of the hotel is fantastic. It is within walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and historic sites in the city. This is definitely a great place to spend a weekend get away.

Reviewed By Y865ESjennysI enjoyed the evening reception talking to brittany. The music was chill and the atmosphere in general was welcoming. There was also people singing karaoke which was fun to watch and hear. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing and distressing time.

Reviewed By marycX4737FZReally over priced, not offered above travel deal. Breakfast room and pool closed ( health inspection cert expired) . No maid service, broken TV remote. Could not use bathroom window- no screen- broken room phone. Really disappointed.

Worst room we've stayed in
Reviewed By LindaJ1876I booked this hotel room online using our vacation travel website. I checked the photos and the reviews. This room did not match either. First, the room had a musty smell. We noticed that wall paper was peeling in places. The tv didn't work, even after they replaced the HDMI cord. There were no bedspreads on the beds-only cheap blankets. There was sand on my sheets. The headboard was torn in several places. There was mold in the bathroom ceiling. There was no lamp between the beds. The mattresses and pillows were cheap and uncomfortable.But the final straw was the glass in the carpet in front of the sliding glass door. We didn't see it at night, but in the morning the sun was shining on it. Fortunately, no one cut their feet. I called the front desk to express my displeasure. They said the manager was out, but would call me back later. I asked for someone to come to the room, so I could show them what I was talking about. The handyman came. I showed him the problems. He appeared sympathetic. I asked about the manager or owner. He said his truck was there, and he was usually there. When I went down to check out, I again asked to speak to the manager. Again, they said he was out. I think they just flat out lied. I wrote out my complaints and said I would like a refund for the 1 night I stayed. I said I had taken photos. Again, they said that they could not refund me unless the manager approved it. I waited a week and he never called, so I called my credit card company and filed a dispute. I did ask for a different room, but they said they were full. I would have left, but it was a holiday weekend, and everything else nearby was also booked up.

Snacks such as popcorn are put out in the lobby in the afternoon. I was astounded by the free breakfast, as good as it gets in this type of motel. Not just cereal and coffee. Hot oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, variety of teabags, bread, fresh fruit, pastries, juice. Several nearby eateries within walking distance & a convenience store across the street. The mini-fridge did not work but the clerk quickly put in a working one. Great attitude. Staff were all polite and accommodating. Masks are not currently required in SLO, but they should be.
